I Would say it certainly seems that some of the Israeli politicians are using the language of genocide and ethnic cleansing. And of course there was an element of ethnic cleansing to the wider gulf war issues - on the part of Iraq trying to destroy the Kurds (going back a long way).
And then there’s the Armenian community as well - I only heard about their history due to discovering the band System of a Down.
