Terrorist groups can be degraded to the point where they can no longer engage in dangerous, meaningful attacks.

Ideologies can be discredited to the point they have no popular support. So it's not necessary to destroy an ideology per se.

Degradation of military capabilities plus discrediting of the core ideology can remove the threat.

It's also not a given something worse will emerge after a conflict. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, but it's not axiomatic. If that was true, Europe would've had to deal with something worse than Nazism.

But it hasn't because of the degradation of Nazism militarily and the discrediting of its core ideology. Sure, fringe neo-Nazi groups exist but are not a credible threat to States, especially the German State.

One; A one state Greater Israel where Palestinians and Israelis are equal?
Two: A two state solution?
Three: A continuation of the pre 7th Oct situation?
Four: The Palestinians to move to other Arab states?
