@BelleHathor so, so true. I’m sure if any of these politicians had to have their children living in Gaza or going to ground combat anywhere in the region the situation would be very different.

I'm seeing a horrendous photo on social media of a little child called Anhar Saqr Al-Shanbari, with captions saying the child starved to death in Beit Hanoun in Northern Gaza. I won't post the picture - people can google the details if they want to.

I'm always sceptical about social media so my first thought was to presume (hope) it wasn't real, but then obviously if people have been without adequate food for months, and now no food for weeks, this is bound to be the result. And there's no one to report on this so it won't appear in mainstream media.

And while many young Israelis and reservists have been sent in to combat, certain politicians' children appear to be somewhere very different... (Apologies for Daily Fail link)

Clearly for the western world not all lives are important. They did not talk openly about the settlements that caused endless issues for the Palestinians. There are hateful right wing people ready to build in Gaza and again these same western powers will not say anything

The terrorists acts in October have now given the Israeli government and its supporters in Israel carte blanche to start planning homes on the graves of innocent people.

Russian is despicable in its actions in Ukraine but Israel are perfectly legitimate in its acts towards Palestinians regardless of international law, regardless of what most countries in the world thing.

Shame on those who think this is acceptable and okay. If you got rid of the world Israel and Palestine and explained what has happened to anyone with common sense and decency they would see the actions of the Israeli government as wrong. I hear British and American politicians talking and I can’t believe the rubbish coming out of their mouths - they don’t believe half the things they say and the support they give for the Israeli government and it’s simply for money. How they sleep at night is beyond me, positions of power and they simply couldn’t care less about innocent Palestinians, shame on them all.

IKR?! When the New York Times article came out, I had to hold my tongue (or fingers, rather) because I knew if I would get piled on if said anything. That article had no evidence for the claims it was making. People like Max Blumenthal pointed out its issues from the start and now the controversy surrounding it is even worse. Am I seriously supposed to blindly believe stuff like they cut off a women's breasts and kicked it around? Was I supposed to believe the 40 dead babies, the babies on the washing line, the woman who had her foetus cut out of her, or that Hamas members tortured and dismembered a family of three then sat down and had meal, none of which happened? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, especially when this atrocity propoganda is being used to justify genocide. Now people are being starved to death, having 2000lbs bombs dropped on their heads, having IDF soldiers run over them with tanks for fun and there's plenty evidence of that.
