To find the silence about UNRWA being Hamas hypocritical

I entirely understand the discomfort seeing images coming out of Gaza; but what I don’t get is those who choose to post about it on social media or campaign expressing their horror but being totally SILENT after October 7th (before Israeli had even responded), after evidence of the sexual violence suffered by those murdered in Israel and now, after finding out that UNWRA who they have all been sending donations to, are actually Hamas who perpetrated the atrocities.

Where is the outrage from these people at UNRWA?

Why are none of these vocal people not screaming from the roof tops at how horrendous this is !?! If it was true you care about humanity, why aren’t you horrified to learn you’ve all been donating to an organisation so closely linked to the rape and murder of innocent civilians ? (And this isn’t the first time unrwa has been linked to Hamas; their HQ is a Hamas building and they’ve famously been linked to training terrorists in their schools / got into hot water for removing the hollocaust from their curriculum)

if you are one of those white privileged women who posts on social media about a cease fire (I’m talking to those of you who have never been to the ME, or studied ME history and never taken up the cause of any of the other global conflicts); why is your outrage so one sided and blinkered ? Why don’t you acknowledge the horrors of the Israeli/ Jewish people too ? If you’re really the virtuous person you purport to be by taking up this cause, why don’t you care ? Or do you believe what Hamas did and are doing and promising to keep doing (murder all Jews) is justified ?

Genuinely find it bewildering.

Isreal have had it in for the UN & UNRWA for years because they highlight Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians. Day after the ICJ ruling isreal comes out with allegations of UNRWA staff in order to divert attention from the ICJ ruling and discredit UN and UNRWA.

Why wait 3 and half months to come out with this allegations?

I would suggest you read the thread so that you gain an understanding of why your friends may have a different perspective from you.
Can I please ask why you believe they have been groomed by social media? And what makes you certain that your own beliefs have not been influence by social or main stream media?

What happens is that Hamas are free to spend on weapons, terrorism etc since aid keeps the people educated. By giving aid to gaza, hamas can abdicate its responsibilities to other countries and keep money for Palestinian people for itself for terrorism and its leaders to amass.

Stop giving unwra aid to gaza and make hamas actually spend the money it collects and keeps (including for its leaders) on its own people. Seize its assets and assets of the leaders and redirect to Gaza. Hamas don't care for its people, they let the rest of the world care for them. It is able to keep what it has since other countries pick up the tabs for education, health etc.

You could argue that allowing hamas to not spend money on its people the problems are being perpetuated. Hamas keeps the Jihad going because they have the funds to do so.

Derailing again I imagine. The status quo cannot continue.

Have you considered that the Hamas leaders are independently wealthy? I can't see how there is so much money left over after 500 trucks of aid per day,all the infrastructure built and maintained etc etc, it wouldn't be enough excess to make 1 person a billionaire never mind 4

The people of gaza need food, medicine etc.

I think a neutral organisation should deal with aid. I think that ALL assets of Hamas and its billionaire leaders, the bank accounts, the crypto accounts etc should be frozen, seized and then used for aid to the people.

I think hostages should be released, the war stopped but that includes hamas stopping its missiles and peace. 2 state solution. I think Netanyahu should go. Then full investigation in time into everything.

What does it matter what I think though. The important thing is hamas don't give a shit about their people so won't stop and Israel current government won't stop.

Independently wealthy. They collect taxes from the Palestinian people and unlike other governments don't have to worry about spending on education and health etc since the aid from the rest of the world covers that. They also get donations from Iran to fund hatred. They could spend on their people but nope, not happening when the world covers their failures

A quick Google shows the hate that children (cannon fodder) are being taught in unwra funded schools in gaza.
Some hostages report being held by civilian families, in schools (unwra), hospitals (unwra). There are reports and film of hamas repurposing aid funded water pipes as weaponry.
There is footage on the internet of Gazans being silenced when complaining about hamas on camera.
