So what we're saying is that Israel has to not only defend itself but also protect Palestinians from Hamas but they can't go in by foot to do so because the world has spent almost a month begging them not to, and if they do so they'll be accused of trying to steal land, but they also can't do it from the air. Does no one else see how impossible this is?

And for everyone trying to explain away Hamas actions as being as a result of Israeli oppression - does no one else remember suicide bombers entering Israel on a regular basis? Does no one remember Sbarro in 2001? So before Hamas were elected... As in, the people of Gaza knew exactly who they were when they voted for Hamas. They knew. Yet almost 45% voted for them. Much, much higher numbers than that in northern Gaza though.

Yes, I'm sure if someone wanted to they could spam the thread with quotes taken from social media with no source consisting of individual Israelis saying nice things, or individual Palestinians saying bad things.

@ganondoof I don't agree with Hamas, I have condemned them many times
But I'm sick and tired of being told that the Israeli government do really care about palestinian civilians because the majority don't

@OhHelloTheres to be fair though. They have never been able to have a re election. The last one was supposed to be 2021 but was postponed because Israel had not allowed those in Jerusalem to vote

I mean nobody in their right mind can condone the murder of innocent civilians
