So what we're saying is that Israel has to not only defend itself but also protect Palestinians from Hamas but they can't go in by foot to do so because the world has spent almost a month begging them not to, and if they do so they'll be accused of trying to steal land, but they also can't do it from the air. Does no one else see how impossible this is?
And for everyone trying to explain away Hamas actions as being as a result of Israeli oppression - does no one else remember suicide bombers entering Israel on a regular basis? Does no one remember Sbarro in 2001? So before Hamas were elected... As in, the people of Gaza knew exactly who they were when they voted for Hamas. They knew. Yet almost 45% voted for them. Much, much higher numbers than that in northern Gaza though.
