As said the source was from the excerpt in the book which has been published i only put it up as you asked the poster for a source and i remembered reading about it.

It is so awful! These barbarians have told us who they are again and again, and yet people who genuinely consider themselves decent are complicit in calling for the obliteration of Israel/Jews. I am terrified for my British Jews and wish there was something I could do. I am sickened to my core by those useful idiots who are joining the 'pro Palestine' marches. Ignorance is no excuse. Just like it wasn't in the 1940's.

Arty, I agree. However I am glad MN has debate on the issues and that those of us on both sides can talk about them, even if there is a massive gulf between us at times.

Terrorists like Hamas will never stop. Israel has no choice but to react to the invasion as it has done. Pakistan is expelling 1.7m Afghans and I believe Iran is doing so too.One reason Pakistan is doing so it that there aer a lot of terrorists amongst the 1.7m who are causing a lot of damage in Pakistan. We need to stand up to terrorists ilke Hamas, Al Q. ISIS.

There’s a huge difference in supporting Palestinians which many of us do. Don’t know anyone who supports Hamas. I also support Israelis but don’t support their government.

The problem is at the marches there are not signs condemning Hamas
There are not signs demanding the hostages are released. There are not signs telling Hamas to stop firing missiles at civilian homes in Israel, which they have done since the start of the pogrom and have not stopped. The one signs people see are ones condemning Israel or some antisemitism ones.

If people don't want the general public and Jewish people to say these are hate marches then a lot needs to change. It is not by a long shot a decent thing to be part of a marches that behaves in this way. People find it hard to believe most supporters are really interested in the Gazens when they only challenge or shout about one side of the issue. When they don't acknowledge on the marches any deaths on one side. When they don't demand the release of babies and children from Hamas.

It's worse than that at some of the marches, there's praise for the terror attacks.

Parker231 there is a huge difference between not supporting the current Israeli government and calling for the eradication of the state of Israel which is what much of the pro Palestinian rhetoric is doing, whether by overtly chanting from the river to the sea or by demanding a ceasefire. Hamas don’t want a ceasefire. They want to obliterate Israel and kill all the Jews.

@Parker231 A very simple question you should probably consider when deciding to go on a fluffy pro Palestine march, is 'do you believe that Israel has the right to exist as a sovereign state?', and if your answer is anything other than 'no', then you don't belong on one of those marches.

@ArtyStripedSocks - I believe in a peaceful state of Israel but don’t believe that the Israelis have the right to bomb Palestinians from their land. Unfortunately it looks as if there is more violence in the West Bank as well now. No demonstrations over the conflict where I live.

@PinkTonic Out of interest do you think 'between the sea and the river Jordan there will be only Israeli sovereignty' is calling for the eradication of a (potential) Palestinian state? It's from Likud's founding charter.

I will list some of the atrocities recorded by Hamas on my next post, as I believe it is the norm for posts detailing these atrocities to be deleted, but it's worth a try.

A few of the documented atrocities committed by Hamas on 7/10:
Women and children raped
Women raped next to the dead bodies of their friends
Babies cooked in ovens as their mothers were raped
Bodies dismembered
Babies sliced from the pregnant bellies of their mothers
Families tied together and burnt
Homes burnt with families inside.
This is just for starters.

We’re all aware of what happened on and since 7 October. However I don’t believe that an Israeli life is worth more than a Palestinian life and vice versa.

Of course not. Fgs. Not one person ever has said that an Israeli life is worth more than a Palestinian life, but Israel has a right to defend itself.
Again, what is a proportionate response? No one in their right mind would suggest that the right response is for Israel to perpetrate exactly the same crimes against Palestinian civilians as were perpetrated against Israeli civilians.

There can't be a like-for-like retaliation. Israel must destroy Hamas.
