At what point will it stop? Why are the Palestinians seen as vermin? Ethnic cleansing is what this is.

I am sure this is a daft question but are the Israelis aiming to get the regular Palestinians to hand over the Hamas leaders to them (and in doing so release the hostages)? I can't work out what they want the innocent people of Gaza to do.

Couldn't agree more. Have watched time and time again the minimising of what is being done by Israel. The dehumanising and dismissal of Palestinians is nasty and horrible. What happened on October 7th was wrong but what Israel has done every day since with the collusion of US and some in Europe is not justifiable. Some responders on this thread seem to come from a similar viewpoint.

When some ask why so many people are taking to the streets in protest, it is because Israel's actions are indefensible from a moral and human rights perspective. Why should the word of IDF be accepted when their version of events have been challenged and found to be false so many times. The bile and hatred spewing from some Israelis is hard to listen to especially when some of them are politicians.

Why make a thread when you don't want to discuss anything? If Israel laid down arms they would be destroyed. If Hamas did there would be a 2 state solution.

God only knows what people here expect Israel to do! Hamas will not negotiate, they literally won’t even talk, do people understand that? they are prepared to sacrifice their own people in pursuit of wiping out Israel. Well I question the numbers because Hamas are clearly not actually counting bodies. With the hospital carpark bombing independent experts said it seems improbable that 500 people died there. Which means either they put our a random number because they were unsure or they inflate numbers on purpose. They are not reliable and what they say cannot be trusted. Thing about Israel is that while you can think it’s doing the wrong thing I do actually trust them to count their own dead. It’s not just random Israeli nutter extremist deciding what the numbers are.

Having said that the consequences of the bombing are clear as day, people are dying, homes are bing obliterated and thats just awful.

What's happening in Gaza isn't self-defence. It's revenge at best. Trouble is, it's very difficult to control the flow of information these days. Israel is losing the propaganda war because the world can see the war crimes being committed. Wittering about Hamas making it all up/dropping makeshift rockets on hospitals and mysteriously leaving JDAM-level damage...it's not working any more.

Yes, no war crimes, I agree. But are they committing war crimes? They’ve given warning (unlike Hamas) and given time for people to move. But Hamas are not making it easy for people to leave and positioning themselves amongst civilians.

When they position themselves amongst civilians, they are putting their own people in the line of fire. They see this as justified.

Whar would you do if terrorists had come over your border and raped and murdered people, and beheaded babies - and these terrorists positioned themselves amongst more children and civilians knowing what will happen?

It’s hard to justify the actions of Hamas. They are not interested in protecting their own people.

@hamstersarse no, Israel is not acting in defense at this point. Their agenda is, and has been ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people right from the point that zionism made it's way onto Palestinian soil.

Hamas were elected by the people of Gaza so I assume they are in support of these terrorists. Hamas started this by killing, torturing , raping and beheading Israeli citizens.
And it was a Palestine rocket that landed on the hospital not an Israeli one.

It sounds to me like you don’t believe there should be an Israeli state, it is ‘Palestinian soil’
