A new thread! This is for anyone who is trying to conceive their first child - anyone welcome!

The current stats list is shown below, UCL means usual cycle length, and CD is cycle day.

In theory the person who starts the thread gets a BFP before the end, but I'll just be happy to get AF turn up again!

Morning all, nothing of interest going on in cave world! Just sitting back and waiting for you know who to show up! No wierd symptoms going on anymore so it really is just a waiting game.

I have a dance exam at 6.30 this evening - Latin American Grade 1, which means I'll miss at least the first half of the football - what a shame! [dislikes football emotcion]

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

haloflo · 12/06/2010 09:21

Morning all. Still no ERTD here & I'm actually starting to wonder if its my month as a few symptoms are adding up. Anyway i'll keep you all updated but i'm trying not to obsess at this early stage.

flick I think watching the World Cup at 2.30 actually sounds like fun in a strange way . I think when the time difference means its on really late/early its more exciting to watch. Lets hope its a good match anyway or you might be asleep before half time! I'm watching at a friends house . Its her birthday and she doesn't really like football but I think so many of us wanted to watch it shes given in. We are going out afterwards so we will make it up to her then although I reckon i'll be sneaking a few soda and limes in there and pretending there's vodka in them.

Well done on the weight loss, 9lb is brillant! You should be really proud. Well done on keeping up with swimming. I'm rubbish at swimming so rarely go. As for running I'm down to about once a week at the moment. I find it hard to go in the last week of the 2ww due to nausea so when I had the early mc I didn't go for about 3 weeks. I'm finding it hard to find my routine again and if it is my month then I might stop going altogether as i've found the last couple of runs hard going.

I'll send you non hangover vibes if you send me vibes to keep ERTD away. I hope thats a deal.

Also I wasn't quite sure if chalky would want me to post this but I didn't feel I could leave it. Shes having a bad time at the moment with her BFP. Please see the grads thread as i'm sure I won't be able to explain what is happening correctly.

Theres good news for aly though - if you are lurking i'm really pleased for you.

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 10:50

Am keeping my fingers crossed for you haloflo

Still no ERTD here either, seeing the doctor on Wednesday, for a whole host of problems. I feel like an OAP just falling apart bit by bit!

yumstepmum · 12/06/2010 10:59

Hi all, I'm not yet TTC but did have one SWI day last month and now am potentially late. Used to always have a 28 day cycle but last 4 months it's been around 25 days. Meaning I should have had AF Thursday or Yesterday. No sign yet. Trying not to think about it as, if it was 28 days this time, it would be due on Monday.

Have spent the month symptom spotting like crazy - have been extremely hungry, very tired, emotional, sore boobs... All of which could just be down to stress at work and pre-AF symptoms.

Doesn't stop me crossing my fingers so tight the blood's being cut off!

Would be amazing to happen this month as we do want to start TTC but have a holiday booked so have been waiting.

Good luck to everyone!

felicityFlick · 12/06/2010 11:06

Just read through my earlier post- so many mistakes! I think I was just a bit too giddy and excited about finishing my reports

flo I am sending all of my 'keeping ERTD vibes' your way. My fingers are tightly, tightly, tightly crossed. I SO hope its your month. Not going to hassle you to test though as I know you want to avoid the risky first few weeks and test later this time so sending vibes your way until further notice

Good luck with your exam cavemum

Hope you're feeling a bit better this morn kaloki and that the docs can help you out on Weds.

OOOO yum good luck When might you test?

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 11:14

Just had the doctor here to assess me for Disability Living Allowance because of my back problems, he never examined my back at all. I wonder what result I'll get..

yumstepmum · 12/06/2010 11:19

Flick - probably Tuesday night as will be alone with DH. Would like to test Monday night if not here but will have DSC1 here so wouldn't feel right. I can't believe I've let myself get so carried away - it was a one off and DH told me not to get excited or upset if nothing happens as we have a plan... I'm too impatient for the damn plan!!

I've been reading waaay to much MN this month! If it's not my turn I must not come back until it's time to start TTC! Otherwise I will spend the next couple of months symptom spotting like crazy and trying for an 'accident'!

yumstepmum · 12/06/2010 11:23

Also, is it just me or are there babies everywhere ?? By the time I left Tesco yesterday I'd seen about 30 million

Ariesgirl · 12/06/2010 11:29

I've been sitting here wondering what ERTD means. And then realised I suggested it

Ariesgirl · 12/06/2010 11:31

What Flick said Cloaky. Feel for you.

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 11:47

Who's Cloaky?

almostknockedupgirl · 12/06/2010 12:05

Hello all! Shouldn't really be here as have work to do, but just popping in to update my stats as my period came today! Whoop! Finally offically trying!

So now I'm TTC#1 cycle 1 UCL 26-28 CD1

Hope everyone is having a brilliant weekend, and will catch up properly later.

PinkiePoo · 12/06/2010 12:42

Hola!!

I am still here, kind of been lurking but not really....been MEGA busy plus just not really trying obsess over TTC at the moment.

Congrats to all those new BFP!! WOW....this is a lucky thread.

feel slightly worried that i may be the only one left on it now! Speaking of which i have been taken off.....i am now a forgotten entity!!!

Still no news here....still waiting for AF....had a few cramps in last few but nothing major at all. Just praying this is not another 2 month wait!!!!

Any way, hope we are all well....enjoy the footie, the other half is cooking a BBQ for all the faaamily and friends! ENJOY!

cherrycobbler · 12/06/2010 13:51

hello all - been kept away for a couple of days so a very quick post to say muser, how properly shit, sorry you have had to go through such loss. Must make TTC a pretty scary process as well. I really hope that you have a very sticky, very healthy BFP v soon xxx

I love ERTD (not getting it - but the name). Much better than AF. So glad there's no more talk of BD'ing either - doesn't it stand for baby dancing??

flo , I echo what felicity said, I also have my fingers and toes crossed this is your month.

Off to go and buy supplies for party this eve, hope you have good saturdays all!

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 14:15

ERTD is Evil Red Tide of Doom, courtesy of AriesGirl

BD is awful! Much prefer SWI

Ariesgirl · 12/06/2010 18:07

CLOAKY IS YOU KALOKI!!!! You see what I did there? You see?

No?

Taxi for one please...

Ariesgirl · 12/06/2010 18:08
Kaloki · 12/06/2010 18:44

Oh! D'oh!

zippys · 12/06/2010 19:22

hi everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. The wedding dress is the very first one that come up on the kink, dont seem to able to do link that stops on it!!!

I agree Kaloki BD is an awful term, ERTD is also better than AF - well done Aries

Sorry another quick post from me, no real news in 2ww!!!

CaveMum · 12/06/2010 19:43

Evening all, back from my exam. All seems to have gone well so just have to wait a few weeks for the result.

However, guess who decided to put in an appearance?that's right ERTD [winks @ Aries]! I popped to the loo 5 minutes before I was due in to aleviate some nerves and there she was! Cue some frantic searching through the handbag - thank god my mother taught me to be prepared for every eventuality!
Oh well, at least it took my mind of the exam for a few minutes!

Right, off to cook dinner while DH watches the football - yawn!

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 21:43

zippys That dress is gorgeous!

cavemum That sucks about ERTD At least you were prepared, I'm never that organised!

Kaloki · 12/06/2010 21:47

Ooh forgot to say, design for dress is in my profile! See what you think

Well the none hangover vibes did not work!! I hope the keeping ERTD vibes worked a bit better. I have not been able to do anything today due to the hangover from hell. I didn't even get to watch the football in the end as I was too drunk and had to go to bed so was a bit cross with myself. One of the bars we went to was giving free Mojitos to ladies so of course I got carried away. Oh well, you live and learn- or not in my case

haloflo · 14/06/2010 07:50

Morning all. Still no ERTD and plenty of good symptoms. Thank you for being patient with me. I've no idea when I will test - just taking each day at a time.

felicity Sorry the hangover free vibes didn't work but I didn't know I was up against free mojitos! I hope you are feeling better today.

yumstepmum Your ERTD (AF) arrived yet? Fingers crossed it hasn't & you get a BFP on Tuesday. Be sure to update us whatever your news. Any other symptoms? Sorry if you said it already but were you trying this month or not?

kaloki You going to the docs Wednesday about lack of ERTD or other reasons? Either way I hope they help you. The dress design looks great. Have you got the material? How long do you think it will take to make? Would you do a run through in cheaper material or you get straight into the real thing? I'm still really impressed you are making your wedding dress.

pinkie You want back on the list? I'm not sure when/how you fell off but we hadn't forgotten you. What are your stats? You thinking of testing soon? Sorry I know that doesn't help with not obsessing. You can join me in not counting days if it's easier.

cavemum Wow you are super organised. How long was the second cycle then? I hope you are getting some kind of pattern. Did the exam go ok? I hope that didn't put you off too much.
