Those of you who know of the huge crashing disappointed of TG's reneged backdated payrise... they have only done gone and changed their minds - he is getting the payrise AND having a backdated to 1st June. Now we can pay off most of our debt and move to cornwall, hoorah! I can't stop fucking crying!

To those of you who were entirely unaware of whole situation... TG stepped up to job 2 grades above his post, was made official from 1 June, money to follow. We then had months of 'oh it will be signed off by Aug/Sept/Oct/Xmas/Jan/Mar etc.' The a few weeks back he was told that due to budget cuts it wouldn't be happening at all, but he was stuck with new job, responsibilities etc. I was so fucking mad I wanted to firebomb the Finance Director's house. Had entirely written it off so this is completely out of the blue but I am so fucking happy!
