Welcome BESHies to the new palais. Plz to come fill it up plz.

For your delight and delectation I have dragged across the bar and the pit. Along with Mitchell (of course) to grant your every wish (but you will probably have to fight Scorps for him first... good luck with that).

I have even brought the Kylie infused absinthe. Now, who will join me in a Blackhole?

Oh, head also meant to say for poss mc last month. And I'm certain you do not radiate barreness. I think at the mere mention of that there fertility, GP's go into auto-mode.

Ocarina · 19/04/2010 13:27

Headcase don't stress yourself about NHS resources, tis the doc's problem to worry about such things not yours. Hopefully all will come back looking lovely and the next resources you'll need will be midwives and whatnot. But it'll be good to know. Shit that it might've been a mc though, sending sticky womb vibes to you as well as Polly.

Welcome womanly, there's gin on the bar for when you've done the entrance exam quiz.

MountTheFairy · 19/04/2010 13:55

LaurieLouLou forgive my huge ignorance and occasional absence from the BESH palais but why did you go for dildocam and whateva' the other fang is?

MountTheFairy · 19/04/2010 14:00

Actually, read your otha' fred. Gotit. Sorry. Should really get back to my statistics about the city of Hamburg. Does that explain my lurking around the palace?

laurielou · 19/04/2010 14:54

mount I don't mind questions that are already answered before I get there

Am now uber worried about my Clomid intake thanks to wordly wise peoples out there. Seems my FC may be a bunch of fuckwits.

Headbanger · 19/04/2010 15:04

I meant actually to say thanks to MountieTheForeignerComingOverHereAndStealingOurSperm for being thoughtful that's what you get for MNing whilst baking pink cupcakes!

Mmmmmmmmm thanks for the snuggle Laurie. My pooter didn't show me your message at first. Thank the Lord the shellshockingness isn't just me. It's is a weird feeling isn't it? That someone's going to take you seriously. I can't even look in my handbag at the blood test slips. It's too real!

maswera · 19/04/2010 15:07

A belated nekkid dance for Pollypreggo - am staying very optimistic for you - that curly knows her shiz on temps so take heart moi luvver. Know how you must be feeling though

Also big hugs to lyra - glad to hear your pops is on the mend my dear

haggy how is your hol looking? Massive fingers crossed for clear skies for ya - know you really need it...

Everyone else

MountTheFairy · 19/04/2010 15:34

at Headcount. to cupcakes. Sperm (Or as my British donor thought me to say: jizzm. How on earth do you spell that??) is like jobs: if nobody wants them, foreigners will take it!

As for blood test, if someone asks if they can train withdrawing blood on you, ruuuuuuuuun!

Nice norks manswearer.

GET BACK TO STUDYING YOU STUPID BIYATCH! Sorry, was talking to myself there.

Ocarina · 19/04/2010 15:52

Talking of studying, how was the exam Aries? (it was you doing an exam and not me getting confused again wasn't it?)

ChoChoSan · 19/04/2010 16:00

MountEverest: your spell it 'stickyjizz', in my book, but don't spread it around (fnaar)...some people on
MN will find you most uncouth!

ShegivesgoodHead don't worry about your gp...sounds they are prolly being useful and proactive...are far as they are concerned, you turned up concerned about getting diffed, so they are checking it out for you. All they will do for now is tests, and it would probably be ages for anyone to encourage you to start any treatment, or make any kind of subfertility diagnosis, by which time you will be covered in white sick and groaning under the weight of muslin squares and baybee slings

ChoChoSan · 19/04/2010 17:33

BTW, Hello GirlyGasper wheres you bin, we have missed you...,

MountTheFairy · 19/04/2010 17:54

stickyyyyjizz, stickyyyyjizz, why don't you stiiiick, you little jizz

Just read about Clegg's wife. Got 3 kids and started when 34. And has a career. My new icon!

Ariesgirl · 19/04/2010 17:56

People all over the place are getting me confused with someone else! Head thanked me effusively for the comparison with the States' healthcare and gynae care. Ocarina - bless you- has asked me about my exam. I haven't done an exam since 1999. Clearly what you meant to ask me was how did my appointment at the bank go. Very well thanks! (PS I think it's casserole who has the exams! But thanks for the kind thoughts)

Womanly, you have been through the mill and are a bona fide BESH I think.I'm only allowed on here because of my great age. My attitude to TTC until very lately was nah, not bothered. OH FUCK! I'm nearly 35! I must have one before I'm 36. So anyone who put more thought and planning into it than that has my automatic respect.

Scorpette · 19/04/2010 18:01

I have nothing to say but HA! at the thought of 33 being old

Oh my fucking God, I've just realised thatI will be 40 in two years. [rings Samaritans emoticon]
I'm sorry, but I really must insist that I am next in line for a win. Otherwise I'll fuck you all up good-style with me zimmer.

Headfuck, do not worry too much; your Doc sounds proactive and in touch with modern concerns and health trends (ie older wimminz wanting baybees) instead of seeing an neon sign stating 'BARREN' above your head that only medics can see. Despite being ridiculously decrepit, I am (and have been) really having to push my Docs to give a shit. Or maybe I'm being unreasonable about how cunting long you have to wait for everything to get done

Am in a magical mood today, can you tell?

PollyWantACracker, how are you doing? I hope all is well

LycraShorts, hope your Dad is better today

Scorpette · 19/04/2010 18:02

(2 1/2 yrs till 40, I'd like to clarify. As if that means fuck-all )

Ariesgirl · 19/04/2010 18:04

I have two words to say to you. Dannii Minogue. Oh and Anne Marie Duff. Actually that's five. 38 and 39 respectively and expecting their first.

Scorpette · 19/04/2010 18:21

But I want at least two baybees! And no. 1 isn't exactly forthcoming! Waaaaaah

Muser · 19/04/2010 18:57

The only thing I have to say is that the baby blanket I am making for my sil is starting to look pretty darn good. Even though I arsed it up. I am going to try and put some pics on my profile.

PollyPoo · 19/04/2010 19:13

I'm back BESHies [shyly poke head round door].

The news is... no news news really. FFS! I have lower backache which would normally herald droidage, but could be down to driving the bumper courtesy car from the garage. Boo and I have been out all day which did help slightly to make me less menkul, although my patience has been sadly lacking and Boo has been very trying today. She was probably picking up on my mood.

I spoke to the FC before we went out - basically there is nothing they can do, which I knew anyway. If I was nearer 6 wks, bleeding and/or in pain they'd refer me to EPU. I asked her about the progesterone pessaries but she said, as a nurse, she can't advice me, as she can't prescribe them. I said 'but they won't make things any worse will they?' and she said no. Not sure about about using them tonight though - if I start them, I'm not sure how long I'd have to keep using them. Anyone know? My GP doesn't know as I basically hoodwinked into giving me them anyway.

Blah blah blah... Anyway, how is everyone else? Scorps I hear ya on the 40 thing and I will beat you too it - I will be 40 in Sept next year. [gets the fear]

Thanks all for all your positive and sticky thoughts. I have been talking to BooTwo today and rubbing my tummy and telling him to hang on in there. (He is definitely a boy, he just feels like a boy.)

Someone knock me out for the next week or so?

Head just wanted to say well done on the docs - I know it is a shock but it is a good thing. I wouldn't focus too much on the poss mc, if you can help it - after all, GP can't know what has caused the bleeding, he is just guessing and could be completely wrong. Big smooches to ya.

CurlyCasper · 19/04/2010 19:20

aww chochotrain you just made my day. I'm usually here, always lurking, sometimes posting. Still not sussed the etiquette of PESH presence on the BESH fred... But if there's violence, gropage and general sick talk, I'm here. Hope you're okay lovely. I loved the wombular fung shui.

Muser · 19/04/2010 19:21

IMO the efics of PESHies on the BESH thread is you are very welcome, just don't tell us to relax and let it happen . Also, you have to buy the drinks.

CurlyCasper · 19/04/2010 19:24

sounds fairy duff to me. Tonight I shall be purchasing drinks from my teenage years: Bluebols, Midori, Quantro and Buckfast [grin}
Tuck in and make the most of it. If the sun was still shining you'd be getting Bier Blonde stubbies.

Ariesgirl · 19/04/2010 19:34

Buckfast? Tis illegal now you know. Or something. The monks have been put out of business by the bastard government. If you want something really potent (loopy-juice is what we call it), has anyone tried Cornish Rattler?

CurlyCasper · 19/04/2010 19:37

Buckfast banned? well sales of it were banned at home...The drink of a true West Coaster (Scotland). Warms you up a treat.

Rattler sounds intriguing though ries...

Ocarina · 19/04/2010 19:42

I'm v impressed Muser, and haven't a clue where you arsed it up!

Sorry Aries, I wasn't sure whether it was you doing nasty exam things and am too lazy to read back to check . Glad the bank appointment went well (am now remembering where in the country you are and getting unconfused, or maybe more confused cos still remembering wrong....).

Casserole, are you out there? How was the exam?

Curly you mean you actually drank Bucky? I don't think I've met anyone before who's ever actually tried it (or at least who'll admit to having tried it!) I'll stick to the Bluebols ta.
