30s TTC: The BESH Palace - where the bar never closes, booze is free, the humour is black and babydust is strictly for snorting through a rolled up 20.

Welcome BESHies to the new palais. Plz to come fill it up plz.

For your delight and delectation I have dragged across the bar and the pit. Along with Mitchell (of course) to grant your every wish (but you will probably have to fight Scorps for him first... good luck with that).

I have even brought the Kylie infused absinthe. Now, who will join me in a Blackhole?

Christ, if that's a pg symptom then I'm booking a hysterectomy!

Muser · 17/04/2010 22:36

I dreamt last night that rather than have The Sex to get pregnant I had to put these little dried seeds up my foo. They had little sperms inside. I think I may have gone insane.

Scorpette · 18/04/2010 00:09

I once had a dream where I had a baby but it was the size of a hamster, say, and I kept forgetting to feed it or attend to it and just kept shoving it in my pocket and leaving it places; it was like some sort of Tamagotchi-guilt flashback! I fear for our collective sanity!

NaPOLLeon, have sent you an email and in it, have thought of another factor that makes your win extra-fab: you beat SIL to it! BOOYAH! IN HER FACE!

PollyPoo · 18/04/2010 09:34

Laurie those are genuine duffed symptoms. It it too early to POAS?

Call me strange but Muse that actually sounds like quite a nice way to get pregnant. How is the hangover?

ScorpalicouisOne I haz just replied.

POAS ... POAS ... POAS ...

Muser · 18/04/2010 10:54

POAS! Yay!

I have just begun month 3 of my 3 month wait. Woot!

RunLyraRun · 18/04/2010 12:07

I did not know that dreaming about corpulent, closeted, moptop gaysters was a sure sign of diffedness, Lollypop. You learn something new etc.

Pooooooooobummmmmmmm that is brilliant news! BOO-TWO, BOO-TWO, BOO-TWO! So chuffed for you. Your success gives me hope for my weird LP, and reminds me that the agnus castus can't work if it sits in my kitchen cupboard rather than my tum. If only the tabs were nomnom flavoured I might remember them.

Thanks to all for further vibes, I think they are working - Dad looks a bit less jaundiced, his heart rate is almost back to normal, and I managed to speak to a doctor yesterday (they are farkin elusive) who said that everything is going in the right direction. He is having a minor procedure tomorrow (to remove a stent that shouldn't really have been inserted last week, as it isn't doing anything) - if that goes OK I will try to get home for a couple of days.

Hello again Decaff

I miss the DodgerofCock, where is she?

Scorpette · 18/04/2010 12:35

Tiptop news about PapaLyra! Have been sending him loads of get-well-soon vibes Am so glad he seems to finally be on the mend. Bet you're so relieved - supersnogs all round!

Lozza - I'm going to join in with the others and yell POAS! POAS! POAS! Sounds promising! All hail the 2nd wave of BESH-diff!

Muser · 18/04/2010 12:38

Excellent news Lyra, hope PapaLyra continues to improve.

Muser · 18/04/2010 14:25

I am in a restaurant offering beetroot gin. This is a gin step too far for me.

Ariesgirl · 18/04/2010 14:45

"I did not know that dreaming about corpulent, closeted, moptop gaysters was a sure sign of diffedness, Lollypop. You learn something new etc."

That made me giggle. A lot

You know who Michael Ball is beginning to resemble? Russell Grant! Oh I fear I'm going to be ill.

Sorry to hark back to the knickers but I'm genuinely startled at how seriously some of the Good Housekeeping ladies take their laundry whiteness

A very good day to you all. I hope you are having lovely sunny Sundays. I'm doing my accounts - happy happy, joy, joy. My car is starting to get suspiciously ashy. There's a poor girl over on the Frolickers thread who's had her PIL staying with her in foreigns climes where she lives for two weeks and now they are unable to leave because of the ash. They're there indefinitely! Sorry, these are very inane and random witterings. I'm going now. I'm gone.

Headbanger · 18/04/2010 17:45

Lyra SO pleased your Pa is making progress. AND that you're collaring doctors when you find them. The power of the BESH go with you!

Laurie duck, 'ave yer POAS yet, eh?

Aries if you don't stop with this hygiene nonsense I'll have to start thwacking you on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper shouting NO! NO! I don't hold with housework. Female enslavement. I rely on copious throws, knick-nacks, rugs, cushions and assorted ephemera to distract the eye

MenkulWatch Update: Droid a-comin' Wed. I have 99% of the classic PMT symptoms. However I also have tummy pains. This is likely to be because I've not eaten since 10am but it's enough to set off the menkul

I miss cockdodger too. I hope she's lurking and feeling the gropes love.

Medee · 18/04/2010 18:36

evening all

Sorry to post bad news and run but we were behind schedule for heading down to Glasgow as it was. Pre-droid spotting has just started, so definitely no hope in it, but thanks for all the nice comments. I'm going to go for second CBFM cycle, then definitely heading to the docs if still weird - can't really count this cycle as "not trying" and the CBFM is wildly inaccurate to begin with. But 50 day cycles are NOT ON!

Had a nice night last night, feeling broody with best pal's youngest (about 9 months and starting to crawl, doing that backwards and forwards bum-dance) and other pal there with her 6-months-gone bump, quite jealous though equally happy for her. Ah well.. at least we have one BESH duffer, and LaurieLee can take on the POAS duties.

CUNextTuesday · 18/04/2010 19:24

@ 'backwards and forwards bum-dance'

PollyPoo · 18/04/2010 19:44

Yo yo yo biatches. Can I still come in? I am not quite ready to join the PESHies as I am feeling in de nile and also bit paranoid about stuff going wrong, so I would like to camp out here til I am less menkul if that is ok? I am acksherly feeling a bit guilty bout winning. I know it is not a race or 'owt, but some of you lovely BESHies have been waiting so much longer than me and/or have had much shitter time than me. I wish we could all be duffed together.

Well I hope you are enjoying this beeyotiful weather. I am back from Devon after a tres relaxing time, was utter bliss. We bobbed around in a little boat on the estuary today, having a picnic.

Lyra I am so pleased to hear your Pa is continuing to improve. I will keep sending the positive vibes.

I miss the ArtfulDodger too, she must be back from hols now?

Beetroot gin? Why would you do that? Gin is just perfect as it is.

Scorpetta I must admit to being very smug relieved to be duffed before SIL. Tis very childish I know, but I am hoping she doesn't get duffed straight away as I do not want her to be my pregnancy buddy - it is such a special time and I do not want to share it with her.

OP posts:
Medee · 18/04/2010 19:47

of course you can stay, Pooooo, door is always open for PESHies.

PollyPoo · 18/04/2010 19:47

Oh Medee I am sorry about the bleepy bastard. I was really hoping it was your turn.

OP posts:
Medee · 18/04/2010 19:52

Thanks Poo!

I've read possibly the least supportive post ever on the CBFM "support group" thread, or maybe I am just being more sensitive than usual.

PollyPoo · 18/04/2010 19:54
OP posts:
Scorpette · 18/04/2010 20:03

Medee, that is rubbish. So for you. And Polecat, feel free to hang around. In fact, please stay

And Cunty, if you like cute baby waggly-bums, you should see the thing my friend's son does (he's about 6 months old) - he's obsessed with nomming on knuckles and fingers and if you stand him up and support him and hold up a knuckle/finger, he throws himself at it, shaking his head back and forth as he works his little mouth down on it. It looks really robotic and like something a ruthless predator would do. Is hysterical - like an anaconda working on a goat or summat!

Oh Christ, I really need a baybee!

Lyra, hope your Poppa is even better this evening; I know how, when someone is that ill, every hour of improvement or at least, not getting worse, is a real mini victory

Muser · 18/04/2010 20:21

M'dear Medee, I am gutted for you.

Ariesgirl · 18/04/2010 20:53

God Headcase what do you take me for? Hygiene Schmygiene (v hard to say). No. I want to keep the pants white because they're pretty and I want to be a sex goddess in them. Not poss when you're wearing greying pants.

Meds - sorry to hear about approaching evilness. 50 days is taking the piss I agree so maybe a visit to the doc will start to shed some light on it.

Pol don't go away . I was just starting to get to know you!

Headbanger · 18/04/2010 21:04

Oh Medee pal, sorry. And also, I fink I see the CBFM comment you mean, and am on your behalf. Fucking insensitive sow.

Pols glad you're still here ... I'm going to rub myself against you to see if I can get my jollies diffular joy by osmosis. I totally see what you mean about your SIL. My sister is trying for her 4th and thinks it would be great if we could be diffed together. I am slightly pissed off tho I know I shouldn't be ...

Ariesgirl · 18/04/2010 21:13

Insensitive isn't the word. I'd say bordering on bitchy. Also on your behalf. I feel like posting something that effect actually. But I won't.

Medee · 18/04/2010 21:19

thanks, twas a three-pronged WTF? So glad I wasn't taking things too sensitively. But no BESHie enslaught required, I might need that thread at some point this cycle! Though far more useful advice and support here of course.
