Welcome BESHies to the new palais. Plz to come fill it up plz.

For your delight and delectation I have dragged across the bar and the pit. Along with Mitchell (of course) to grant your every wish (but you will probably have to fight Scorps for him first... good luck with that).

I have even brought the Kylie infused absinthe. Now, who will join me in a Blackhole?

I am tentatively excited for you Pols. Lyra and Scropes - what Camelgirl said. Hugs karate chops to you both.

Ariesgirl · 16/04/2010 11:01

Why are my asterisks weird? I did it right .

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 16/04/2010 11:14

Hi lovelies - quick drop in to get medieval on Lyra and Scorps, and tequila sunrises for everyone else. Lyra will be thinking of you today lovey.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:19

Ok Head have posted pic on mn profile of the 'line'. Plz to not laugh at my menkulness.

OP posts:
RunLyraRun · 16/04/2010 11:27

Morning lovlies. Thanks for overnight thoughts, I'm sure they worked. Dad seems better today, drinking and eating a bit, heart rate coming down, and his mental state is no longer altered. He is with it enough to feel awful that he was combative in his confused state yesterday. Got to get on top of the sepsis now, then he will need another procedure next week. I wonder if mum and I will ever get to go home?! We are staying in the nursing quarters at the moment, which adds to the general grimness.

Scorps, sorry to hear all that. If it turns out you've been constantly misdiagnosed for nearly 25 years then you will have every right to lose your shit. On a positive note, a good friend of mine who has really bad endo had a gorgeous baby girl a couple of weeks ago

Pollyupthepole, this is either your longest cycle in forever, or....!!!!!

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:32

lovelyLyra I am so pleased your dad is a little better today. I hope he continues to make good progress. Big squeeeezes to you all and every ounce of positive thought I can muster (quite alot today).

Yep - it is my longest cycle in ages so even if I am not duffed then it is Good News. And temp is still high, so droid should not be arriving over next 24 hrs. Hells teeth, this is torture.

Polly love. Now then. It is tentatively my view that you have won. Now, I know one shouldn't celebrate too early, but I have taken my top off, greatly the glee of my colleagues, and I am ready for nekkid dancing.

Presumably that's the second line above the letter 'c'? Yes? If that's what I'm looking at and that's what you're looking at then it's a line. That's all I'm saying

So I'm standing by for celebrations. Basically.

Headbanger · 16/04/2010 11:35

SexyLycraShortShorts, I am EXTREMELY glad to hear it. And particularly glad to hear that he is more of 'himself'.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:36

Yes, that is is above the C. So glad I am not the only one who can see it, but plz to not celebrate til I get a big fat line. Fanks for tentative hope though

Fink I will not tell TG until/if I got propa line. He is so down about all the work shiz at the mo that I don't think he could take annuva disappointment.

OP posts:
Headbanger · 16/04/2010 11:39

oh Poo! I am a sentimental old trout and admit to a tiny sort of achy-throat runny-eye sensation. But I do TOTALLY know that it's absurd to start celebrating yet so I will calm down and just enjoy a snuggle

CurlyCasper · 16/04/2010 11:42

pol I say Yes! please to see post over other side.

lyra glad your pops is better. Positive vibes are still being sent

scorps I am now feeling the fury for you too. Hopefully one good thing will come of it all - answers at last.

Can't stop. Must process (digitally) 800 photos...

Muser · 16/04/2010 11:47

I saw the line over the C too. Very faint, but I saw it. I say get a Superdrug stick, I like them. Do not get a digital one, they iz evil.

Also, big hugs to LyraLovely. Hope your dad continues to improve.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:52

Fanku laydeez, I am tentatively excited, but not ready for nekkid dancing yet.

Fucking hell....

And just for you Ed, I will lay off the coke this weekend.

OP posts:
Muser · 16/04/2010 11:54

Superdrug or Boots. Cheap but also good. I am not really a fan of the little strips as I get confused over what's a line and what's not. I prefer a good old stick.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:57

Thanks Muse. God I think my eyes are leaking. I really fucking hope this is it.

OP posts:
Muser · 16/04/2010 11:59

Are you crying? Are you crying? There's no crying. There's no crying in baseball.

Sorry, had to do that. I hope this is it as well "PollyPooinmyPocket".

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 12:04

Fanks Muse, don't say anything else nice or I will cry properly with full on red blotchy face, snot and tears and bug-eyes.

Ok, I will stop the leaking. I will go and do washing up instead and Not Think About It.

OP posts:
Headbanger · 16/04/2010 12:05

Don't bleeding blame yer Pol! I prescribe a 5 minute howl, with proper snot and handfuls of tissues clutched in your hot little hand and all that ... then chin up and British bravery and stiff upper lip. No sense getting the wibbles just yet .

Ocarina · 16/04/2010 12:17

Oooh, am getting excited for you Poo. I'm no expert on lines, but it looked like a faint one to me.

And so glad to hear your Dad's improving Lyra, hope things keep going that way. Nightmare for you and your Mum being stuck there again, glad you've got somewhere to stay even if it's far from ideal.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 12:28

Thanks Occs.

I am off to work now but will check in later. I'll be thinking of you Lyra and your dad - lets hope you get more good news over the weekend.

Love you lot - thanks for not laughing at my pathetic line.

cheggers · 16/04/2010 12:55

hi beshies, (post from the deli!)

just a quick fly by post to let you know i'm ok, through t'other side and sitting in hospital with my two lovely daughters

they were born monday morning. bit little at 4lb 9 and 5lb 14 but otherwise completely healthy.

have been a bit of a wreck after the op, so still at the hossy where they're keeping an eye on me and the little one.

should be out on monday though - so will be back again then (to the PESH thread) with all the gory and lovely details.

not caught up with anything sorry just crashing in with a brief update.

hope you're all well and there ain't too many of yers fighting for the pit seats

laurielou · 16/04/2010 12:58

lyra soooooo glad PapaLyra had a good night & has perked up a bit. I realise still a way to go but a good start

poo WOOP DI WOOP.......Can't access your pics, but happily go along with a line Waddya mean too early for the celebrations? Just wanna get me norks out.

So, me.......... we didn't even manage the duty shag last night. Due to the boyf's migraine & me coughing up a lung, we chastely kissed goodnight on the landing & went into separate bedrooms. In the hope that we could sleep & not keep each other awake (ponses). That does not a baybee make. We did SWI on Tues, & despite being CD18 today according to OPK & lack of dampness in the gusset don't think I'm oving yet. So we'll SWI again all over the weekend.

VAG how mighty fine to see you. How goes the bump harvesting?

head you poor love. Hope GP appt comes round quickly for you. I hve no experience of this so no words of wisdom. However tut tut on the lack of smearage!

laurielou · 16/04/2010 13:00

OMG!! OMG!!! Crossed freds. CHEGGS You played POP & had 2 little girls. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Take good care of yourself & do update PESH's when you can.

Well done again............

Oh, I seem to have sand in my eye.........

PerfectDromedary · 16/04/2010 13:01

CHEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGS You are my hero! Well done - and so glad to hear that you're ok.

Lyra also glad to hear your dad's doing a bit better.

Headbanger · 16/04/2010 13:09

Cheggers duckie, I think you were a BESH before my time, but my WORD how super to hear such news. And OMG TWINZ LOLZ!!!!!111!!!!1!!1!

Congratulations! XX (one for each baybee. I know kissing is generally against palais rules, but, you know....)
