Afternoon all!
Sorry I've been lurking again, short of being on here every couple of hours to see what's been written, I can't keep up - this thread just moves too fast for me!!
Anyway I'm going to make a vain attempt at catching up with everyone from when I was last on so here goes....
Cavemum I am absolutley sick that I wasn't online on Friday night to check your tip for the national!!! I had said to DP about you and meant to check it but never had time - sad times, needless to say I won naff all and DP won £2.95 on Black Apalachi!
Capricorn Congratulations on your long awaited BFP - an inspirational story indeed
Bellaby Loved the link to DH/DP disaster stories!! Very funny!
Dinkytinky Oooooh, excited about your shithole project - sounds right up my street! I love a challenge! Hope you and your DP can come to some agreement over it! And LOL @ the biscuit tin story, sounds a lot like the town I live in these days! DP ok now - got his plaster off yesterday and turns out wrist wasn't broken at all - so a week off work for nothing. Although he is saying it's still painful he is back to work tomorro!
Haloflo I noticed you were saying that you were just about to start tempoing now? Is there a certain time when you should be doing it or not? Think I started vaguely on CD1 but haven't been doing it everyday as not always remembering but on the whole I think I'm doing it ok. Just concerned now as I'll start back on shift work on Thursday which means I'll be getting up at 05.50 instesad of my usual 08.30 and wondering how much it's gonna throw my temps of?? Any ideas??
Pinkie Glad your DD visit went well over the weekend!! How old is she again? As for your long cycle, I would try not to worry about it too much, I had a 45 day cycle last month after being relatively regular for the last 7 cycles and think a lot of that was attributed to stress with DP's ex etc. So even just the prospect of meeting DD and the ex could have set you back a little bit?? I've also found that the Drs would be very unlikely to do anything for you just yet anyway as I never got very far, just told to keep waiting for AF and then continue TTC for at least a year before I go back!!!
Calyx If you're still lurking about on your i-phone, I think we are almost cycle buddies this month!!
Applecharlotte Sorry AF got you - it's a total pisser when she get's you early!
Womanlytales Good luck with POAS next week!
MissHooHaa Keeping my fingers crossed for you on your 2ww
Headbangers I really can't shed much light on your breakthrough bleeding. I thought that when chem pg's happened you were more likely to get an early BFP but then AF appeared anyway? Not entirely sure that's a hard and fast rule though as dont know that much about it. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Oh and actually - Hello! Don't know if I've 'met' you yet!
Aries Hope you're feeling a bit more geared up for SWI now?? Totally understand how you feel tho, I only work 40 hours a week and still find it hard to muster up the enthusiasm sometimes!!
As for me nothing new ttc-wise to report however there have been developments on the ex situation! Got a reply to our letter which basically might as well have said "no you bloody well can't take your son overnight during the week and don't ask me again!" so we consulted our solicitor again yesterday who told us basically that unless we were stinking rich (we're not) or poverty-stricken (also not but feel like it sometimes) then we really can't afford to take her to court over the issue! So back to the drawing board again - what a waste of f**king money!! Squandered £300 on 2 meetings and a letter?!?!?!?! And we are back to having to approach her ourselves and hoping she see's sense! Never gonna happen!
Anyway I am not, as you can see, getting stressed about it as I don't want ov to be all skewed again this month! DP has now fully recovered from his injuries so we're concentrating on him being back at work and gettin our finances back on track - solicitors and statutory sick pay don't make for a well-off Mr&MrsWajs!!
And washing mobile phones doesn't help either! Have a pitiful replacement at present, which is so slow at texting that I've basically given up replying to anyone! Phoning isn't a much more viable option either because my SIM has retained just about every number that has ever been stored in it and so I don't know who's numbers are old or new and just have to try them all and hope for an answer! Grr - who new breaking your phone could be such a hassle!!
Anyway I've written a novel on here when I'm meant to be organising a shoppping list so better get a shift on - catch up with you all later!xx
