just to let you guys know we've had our first frolickers baby! fulham had lily yesterday

kaloki hope you're ok and feel up to joining us again soon!

hi to everyone else. what a glorious day!!!!

so much for taking a break this month.... all i was looking for last night was a good snog and it actually turned into quite a good PSF! all we need is a few more of these this month and hopefully that would do the trick! but i'm not going to pressure DH. just wait and see.

wannamummy · 10/04/2010 13:58

Thank you for the birthday wishes, hoping for a nice sunny day tomorrow and we may venture to the zoo... that is after a nice breakfast in bed i hope

Headbanger I too am embarking on 2ww, and i'm failing miserably at 'seeing what happens'! For some reason I don't feel confident at all this month...

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

claireinthecommunity · 10/04/2010 15:08

Oh wow, thanks for letting us know kkas Great to hear about your PSF too

Happy birthday from me too wannamummy, hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow

I'm getting ready for work tonight, it'll be a late one...

CaveMum · 10/04/2010 16:37

Ladies I do hope you took my advice and backed DONT PUSH IT as he's just gone and won the Geand National!

Bellaby · 10/04/2010 16:55

Afternoon All

Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather we are having. It's my favourite time of the year -light, waremer, birds out singing, everything looking so green!

Haven't written since last weekend as it's been a very busy week at work but have been keeping up with everyone's news.

Just waiting for AF to arrive and really hoping it does. Was very naughty over the Easter weekend drinking far too much - first at the wedding in Cambridge which I really enjoyed thanks Claire. We ended up at some bar inthe centre of town until 2am when I finally managed to drag DH back to the hotel. Then had a hen/stag party in London on Saturday. Next month I'm definitely going to be better and avoid alcohol!

luckyseven - fantastic news. Many Congrasts . Please pop back and visit us!

kurlyvoice- I hope that you had a great holiday & many congrats on your first anniversary

Cavemum - so pleased that you now have a plan! Can't believe I've only just read your tip for the Grand National and it's too late!!!! Hope you put more money on that one! Please keep the tips coming.

FelicityFlick - hope you aren't still being driven around the bend by PIL. 2 weeks is a long time but you are half way through! You can always take shelter on here but hopefully it will be easier whilst you are away.

Claire - good luck with the gigs. Hope they go well

Cavemum - thanks for the heads up on the discounted chocolate. I didn't get any Easter Eggs so am ordering myself some!

Haloflo - hope you enjoyed 24. I can't wait to watch the next series when it comes out on DVD which much be soon. Sorry to hear about AF. Hopefully I'll join you in NWL in a few days. I really need to get more in tune with my body as completely missed OV this month and it wasn't picked up by CBDM either.

Kaloki - save space for DH & I on your plane please! Where shall we go?

Dinky - symptoms sound promising... sorry to hear the house hunting has been so frustrating. Let's hope the next one is a bit more up your street (no pun intended).

Womanlytales & apple -welcome to the best chat room on this site!

Zippys -sorry to hear things aren't so good on the health front. Big Hug for you xxx

Pinkypoo -hope you enjoy the weekend with OH's DD

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Wannamummy MrsWajs - shame about your phone. Hope doesn't take you too long to get another one!

Hello Headbanger

Off for a curry with DH this evening - seems to be a weekly thing with us at the moment.

Lots of love to all

luckyseven · 10/04/2010 17:19

cavemum you are a legend - after us both winning on baby run at Cheltenham I continued with the ttc betting and won on don't push it and had an each way on Black Appalachi! I am now retiring from betting until the Gold Cup next year.

pipsicles · 10/04/2010 18:57

cavemum, you're a star!!! We've never actually placed a bet before, but after your tip off, we put an each way on Don't Push It and won!!! Only £44 pound mind, but that's still a bit more than we had before!!! Let us know if you have any more tip offs in future! I'm guessing you benefitted from your inside knowledge too?!

Enjoy your curry Bellaby - we've had three in about 10 days, so trying to be a bit more healthy at the moment!

Hope you've all had a great day in this amazing weather!

xxx

CaveMum · 10/04/2010 19:13

You're very welcome ladies! Unfortunately I don't always tip this well, but I've had a few very good weeks with Cheltenham and Aintree.
I don't bet big either, I can't afford to lose lots of money so at the most its a few £ each way at the most.

Enjoy your winnings!

Ariesgirl · 11/04/2010 09:52

Where are you all? Come on, get up and about (and onto the computer), it's a lovely sunny Sunday.

CaveMum · 11/04/2010 10:09

Aries (waves) morning! I've been wondering where everyone had got to. I didn't want to be the odd-ball that makes the last post in the evening and the first one in the morning!

Lunch with MiL went well. I got a bit stressed out making sure the house was tidy and snapped a few times at DH . All was forgiven though as I made my scrummy speciality - James Martin's Croissant Bread & Butter Pudding. It's fab, I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it before.

Have a good day everyone, I'll check back in later.

Ariesgirl · 11/04/2010 10:12

Mmmmmm, croissant bread and butter pudding...God I wish I liked cooking. I like eating though.

maamalady · 11/04/2010 10:19

Morning all. I drew Nozic in the office sweepstake, shame the poor thing had to leap over another horse and unseat the jockey, it wasn't doing too badly until that point! If I could have chosen who I'd want to win it I would have picked Tony McCoy though - I am so pleased for him!

I am slightly depressed at my oh-so-lonely position at the top of the list, but never mind. I shall attempt to remain enthusiastic and not get relegated to the MIA section! I really must remember to call the doctors tomorrow for that blood test...

Congrats luckyseven on your BFP! Hopefully April will be a lucky month full of BFPs, spring has sprung and all that!

haloflo · 11/04/2010 13:10

Hello hello. I'm here too. DP thinks i'm slightly obsessed with MN which clearly is isn't true so i've waited until he has gone out. He's off to watch football so I get the afternoon to myself.

kaloki Sorry you are feeling like this, hopefully after a break you will have a new energy for TTC. I'be popped you in a new catagory as I didn't want to add another day to your count after what you said.

evilgiraffe I know they say its lonely at the top but stay with us!

cavemum I knew I should have listened to your betting tips but DP had his own ideas! Don't be all modest about your tips as you clearly know your stuff. I hope you and the other winning frolickers enjoy your winnings!

cherry I've heard Mad Men is very good, I will attempt to seek it out next time series 1 is repeated or perhaps get the dvd if I see it going cheap anywhere. I do like american tv series'. Another favourite is True Blood. There are far to many hot men in that so if I talk about it too long I'll go into a hot vampire day dream. Sorry that you are feeling a bit off, I hopefully your body will get in you in the mood at the right time.

kkas Glad it wasn't just the sunshine that put you in a good mood yesterday! And thanks for updating us on the first frolickers baby. Although I wasn't around then it really made me smile.

Headbanger I had a weird AF last month, really light although lasting 5 days and all through this cycle I occasionally daydreamed about being one of them women who have light bleeding at the same time of their period each month whilst pregnant . Quite clearly the behaviour of a crazy baby lady. All I'm really saying with this is that you are in good company with your loony thinking! Mouth ulcers are horrid, I hope they clear up for you soon.

Bellaby Don't worry about overindulging on the booze, you have to let your hair down every now and then. Sounds like you had a good time & thats what matters! Shame you feel you missed ov but maybe this was just a practise run with your CBFM & next month it will know you better. (Does that happen? I hope i've not just made that up) Either way least you will know your cycle better for lucky cycle 3.

Finally I just want to add that luckyseven is amazing and very very kind!

claireinthecommunity · 11/04/2010 13:17

Afternoon all

Gig went very well last night thanks bellaby, we both (DH and I) really enjoyed it. Glad to here the wedding went well.

I might need to place some bets next time Cavemum gives us some tips with all this money flying around . I'm embarrassed to say that I've never been to the races or even made a bet, and I live about ten miles from Newmarket .

It's gonna be a very quiet relaxing day for us, we're both shattered!

Hope you all enjoy the day

Bellaby · 11/04/2010 13:40

Hello All

It does seem a little quiet on here today!

Glad the gig went well Claire. Hope you enjoy your relaxing day.

Haloflo - completely agree with you on True Blood. I can't wait for the next series to come out. DH isn't so keen on it for some reason - he just can't seem to appreciate the attraction of vampires . You should also watch Dexter if you haven't seen it already - we've just finished the second series. It's great.
I think the CBDM should be more accurate next month - this month it had me using all 20 of the sticks that I bought but in future months should only require the use of 10. Let me know how you get on when you get yours from the lovely luckyseven. Cavemum - I'm very impressed with your culinary skills as well! Wish I was coming around for lunch. DH has just sprung on me that MIL is visiting for lunch and she is bring over some Mexican food. Not sure if you've ever heard of it but she is bringing Mole which is bascially chicken in chocolate sauce . As long as they don't stay too late this time and DH doesn't start tucking into the whisky again with his brother!

Evilgiraffe - keep your spirits up. Have just noticed that I'm creeping up the list so who knows when AF will arrive for me this time. It should be today (well based on last month) but no sign so far.

Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

Dinkytinky · 11/04/2010 15:21

Hi everyone! It is slow today - everyone must be enjoying the gorgeous weather and not scrubbing the bathroom like me haha! bellaby and halo I looooove true blood, is it just me or is the accent a massive turn on? I so want to go to Bon temps, what a geek!
kaloki I know it will happen for you Hun, please come back if you feel up to it, won't be the same without you!
cavemum amazing tips yesterday- my uncle jimmy gave me the same tip so won a few quid thankyou!
cherry I've just started watching madmen, it's so gorgeous to watch, the sexism in it is really funny! My dads definitly of that era, poor man lol!
Only 5 days left of the 2ww for me, woop! Decided this morning that my nipples look weird (sorry if tmi) I'm not eating like a pig like I usually do in the run up to AF but maybe I've just got more self control this month!

Ahh congratulations and welcome to the world frolickers baby lily!

Hope you're all having a lovely day

felicityFlick · 11/04/2010 15:24

Hello you lovely lots of frolickers,

I go away for five teeny weeny days and come back to two BFPS Yay!!!!! I should go away more often!

Am SSSSOOOOOOO thrilled for you both lucky and spanish Huge congratulations to you both

Well I am back in one piece from my hols with the in laws (just!) They are doing my head in but I guess that is normal and I am trying to stop myself being a spoilt brat about it all! One good thing is that I am actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow to have a bit of space from them so I guess that is a good thing I suppose!

Thanks for all of your positive vibes re the pils by the way

Glad the gig went well claire

Sorry to hear you will be leaving us for a while kaloki keep lurking though won't you?

OMG- nearly forgot. Had a really quick lurk yesterday and saw your tip cavemum so put an online bet on don't push it I did a fiver each way and won A HUNDRED POUNDS Thanks so much!!

oooo flo I finished 'One Day' today- It was great. I will say no more for fear of ruining it for someone else but I definitely recommend to you all.

Am off to bed now but just thought I'd stop by quickly, have had a skim through but will catch up properly tomorrow when I should be working

Love to all

Enjoy your sundays xx

PinkiePoo · 11/04/2010 18:57

Hello ladies!!

Just said goodbye to OH DD, we had a lovely weekend. She loved every minute and it felt lovely having her for more than just a day!

Will actually miss her tonight

had our first BBQ today, was lovely, and yup i eat my body weight in burgers.

How was everyones weekend? Full of eating, walks and sunshine? or SWI, Symptom spotting and knicker checking??

1 more week off for me.......me? smug? noooooo

Bellaby · 11/04/2010 20:04

Felicity - certainly think you get a medal for endurance. Hope you enjoy being back at work. Will definitely order a copy of that book so thanks for recommending it.

MIL has just left us so I'm settling down for an evening in front of the television. The molé was actually ok in the end - didn't really taste much like chocolate and it was nice to have someone come round with a meal ready prepared.

Dinkytinky - I hope the household chores didn't take up your whole day and you managed to get outside.

Pinky - so pleased that the weekend was such a success. Hopefully means you will get to see more of her.

Bellaby · 11/04/2010 20:21

If anyone wants a bit of a giggle then I suggest having a look at this page. All about stupid things that DHs & DPs have done

It's got me in fits - DH wants to know why I can't stop laughing.

chico193 · 11/04/2010 20:34

Hi, I'm back now, after being very disappointed I have sorted myself out. So I can be changed to CD6.

Am happy that I had a 39 day cycle which is closer to my average cycle length as I was worried that they were getting really long. The start of AF also shows that my guess about when I OV'ed was spot on and that I have a normal luteal phase length, just a very long first part of the cycle, so I am more hopeful that it will eventually happen now.

Kaloki · 11/04/2010 21:51

I'm still lurking. Hope you are all doing ok

OP posts:
felicityFlick · 12/04/2010 06:39

Still don't have time to up date properly but just had to come here and say bellaby I have not laughed so much for a loooong time at that thread your posted! I have been in tears!

CaveMum · 12/04/2010 08:18

Morning all! Don't you just hate Mondays?!
Oh well, only 3 weeks till the next Bank Holiday!

Wishing everyone a great week - particularly anyone who is POAS in the next week or so.

Ariesgirl · 12/04/2010 08:32

Yonder the SWI week approacheth. Oh joy. Don't know if we can summon up the will and the energy to be honest. All seems rather pointless. I say "seem" and not "is" because I know there's a point really, just having even more moments of doubt. The thought of having to work 60 hour weeks at the height of summer with a wailing infant is just ghastly. And the aforementioned long hours are dampening DH's energy and ardour. Other women look lovely in the summer - I just look like a haggard, tired crone.

Probably won't happen like that but it's a Monday and the sun's gone and I'm allowed to be grumpy!
