Huge Congratulations Lucky!!! I am thrilled for you (obviously a tad jealous, but we all are, so that goes without saying!) In answer to your question, I'm not the Grazia girl and am actually feeling quite sane at the moment! I'm amazed how much difference the arrival of AF can actually make to your mood. Yes, I was depressed when it came, but I am so much more positive now and optimistic about trying again. AF was only 3 days (usually 6-7), so wondering whether cycle might be shorter? Or am I just making that up because I want it to be?! (Ooh dear, maybe crazy baby lady is sneaking back in there!!!)

I've been spending the last two and a half days with a really good friend of mine who is a single mum of two - 2yrs and 7months. I had thought it might be difficult, but we're so close that we could discuss things rationally and her girls are adorable. It obviously makes me broody, but also made me realise how important it is to enjoy DH while it is just the two of us because things are going to change so much when we get that BFP.

Oooh, btw. I went on Amazon to get a bbt thermometer because I also had thermometer envy and decided my Sainsburys one wasn't good enough! I managed to get one (in celcius) plus 10 ov sticks and 10 pg sticks for £6.99 incl delivery!!! Never used ov sticks before so looking forward to trying them out and DH has banned me from ever buying pg tests from a shop if I can get them so cheap on the internet!!! Although I think, like Lucky, I'll have to get a CB Digital 'just to check' when I finally get a BFP!!! Just thought some of you might be interested.

MrsW, I too have had a similar mishap with a mobile phone. It was around Christmas time, and I was due to meet up with old school chums for drinks, so none of them could get hold of me and I couldn't get hold of them so we didn't have the drinks after all (that's what I told myself anyway...). Very sad. Shortly after that I washed a white ski jacket which had a sachet of tomato ketchup in the pocket (WHY?? Who keeps ketchup in their pocket?) which created an interested tie dye effect and drew some admiring glances on the slopes the following week. Since then I have religiously checked pockets pre-wash!

Hello to everybody else - Am in the 2ww and have totally fallen off the Eat well wagon. I seem to want to eat non-stop and have just zero self control - SIGH!

Am resolved however to turn a new leaf and address the next 10 days and beyond with some sanity!

A part of me thinks it's crazy to get this obsessed and go on an emotional eating binge because of the 2ww nerves...poor, poor excuse and how I've succumbed!

It's water and fruits for dinner for me tonight - and here's to more healthy patterns tomorrow.

On the betting front I had a very profitable day with Aintree today - 3 winners from 6 bets! Very small stakes though so haven't won a fortune - I hate to bet more than a few £ at a time!

As for Grand National tips there is one horse that is kind-of pregnancy related - DONT PUSH IT! Funnily enough my heavily pregnant co-worker pulled him out in the office sweepstake thus afternoon!

He has a reasonable chance and is the ride of champion jockey Tony McCoy, who is trying to win the race for the 1st time at the 15th attempt!

Last years winner MON MOME also runs and us in with a good chance having run a cracking race to be 3rd in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He gets the trip and has proven form over the fences, the weight he is carrying may be a bit much though.

Haven't decided what to back myself yet, but I drew BLACK APPALACHI in the office sweepstake.

Aries I gamble online & its actually way too easy. Not much I add, just a couple of pounds on a few football results. DP & I do it on lazy rainy Saturday 's when theres nothing on & we want to add a bit of cheap excitement to our day. We did win big once but it was over 2 years ago but haven't won a penny since .

I am also always in my best most postive mood just after AF but before ov. I hope it lasts you through the month.

AF is finally over, have been having all sorts of wierd twangs and I look like I've swallowed a beach ball, very bloated (tmi?!). No Pre Season Friendlies for me and DH yet - so hope I don't ov early! Am weirdly the same low temp every morning - exactly the same for the past three days - maybe its the thermometer? Have signed up for fertility friend and loving the graphs.

well no, I am commencing the 2WW, so I'll keep my insane symptom-spotting to a bare minimum,I promise. (As an example of just how bonkers I get: I currently have bleeding gums and mouth ulcers and sore boobs, and have therefore decided that my last period - lengthy and emphatic though it certainly was - was probably an implantation bleed and I've been pregnant all this cycle without knowing).

And then mother in law and brother in law are coming over for lunch. Keeping my fingers crossed that DH will use his initiative and tidy the house while I'm out this morning

Also a big day for us as we start taking our pre-conception vitamins from today! It might not seem like a major thing but to me it makes everything seem real-it's finally happening!

BTW luckyseven I've not started charting temps yet as I'm still on the Pill and will get funny results! I'm going to come off the Pill at the end of May so will start charting then.

Going to make a Dr appointment this week so I can get checked over - want to make sure vaccinations etc are up to date.
