Luckyseven [waves] Hello there!! I don't believe I've met you yet, but I just wanted to say that my first positive was the palest of palest of lines, seriously a line is a line! Do another test in the morning with your first morning urine and you should get a clearer result.

Misshoola I went a bit mad sympton spotting back in Feb as well. I'll be keeping my eye on you. Google isn't a good thing in the hands of a crazy baby lady.

Hello to all the newbies, this is a VERY LUCKY thread!!

CaveMum · 08/04/2010 21:48

luckyseven big whoop whoop for you! Have you told DH yet? What did he say?

I've had some good news too, though not on the same scale: I passed my dance exam and got a Highly Commended so am very chuffed.

luckyseven · 08/04/2010 22:10

Thanks to everyone for their messages - think i will believe it tomorrow morning if the clearblue digital works out!

DH came home early from football as it was cancelled and no-one told him, luckily i had my plan in place - nipped out to asda earlier to buy this and picked up a baby hat that said "i love daddy" and stuck it in the wine glass like a napkin! He looked inside, did a puzzled smile and when he turned round i was waving the two piss sticks tests in the air! He is the happiest man in the world and nothing could make him happier - we spent the next 5 minutes jumping up and down until he told me to stop jumping in case i hurt myself!

kaloki remember i held a baby the day i ov'd? Well get knocking on that neighbours door as my made up old wive's tale might be true!

happy Friday eve everyone!

MrsWajs · 08/04/2010 22:17

So luckyseven seems like maybe it was lucky eight for you after all!!?? Hoping it rubs off on me! Keep us posted in the morning.

Agree with misshoohaa that too much MN can be stress inducing, had a chat with DP last night and he thinks there is too much pressure on both of us so gonna try and cut down a wee bit. Which I have kinda already, so you won't really be seeing any less of me!

Hello to applecharlotte and womanlytales you'll both be very happy here I'm sure

Pinkie Don't forget to keep us updated on what went down tonight hopefully all went well!

I've probably cross-posted a heap of people as I've been trying to read back the thread and type a response for the last hour!!

chico193 · 08/04/2010 22:19

I think I am out for this month I have just taken a test, and it was negative. Although the urine wasn't very concentrated, I think at 18dpo it should show up anyway. Is there any point taking another test in the morning?

MrsWajs · 08/04/2010 22:21

It's not over til it's over chico wait til day before AF due and try again with FMU.x

MrsWajs · 08/04/2010 22:23

Bloody didn't read that message properly! Ar you late already?? If so try again in the am and see what it says then. I was 13 days 'late' last cycle and still wasn't pg Think I had delayed ov. Noticed from previous list that you've had long cycles before?

chico193 · 08/04/2010 22:24

Am 18dpo - AF was due Sunday. Have been bleeding for last three days but much lighter than normal and flow erratic so was hoping might be implantation/breakthrough bleed.

MrsWajs · 08/04/2010 22:26

Aha have now read the rest of the thread properly(!!)
Still could be though? Maybe late ov and this is implant?? Fingers crossed for you.

bunnygirl80 · 08/04/2010 23:02

Congrats luckyseven

Come and join us on the grads thread

Dinkytinky · 08/04/2010 23:16

Awww lucky that is sosossosooo cute!congratulations gorg! Xxxx

Chico sorry about bfn Hun xxxxx

mrswajs aw I'm sorry you feel so pressured- I hope it's nothing that I/we've said on here, hope you stick around xxxx

MrsWajs · 08/04/2010 23:38

No, it's nothing anyones said, think last months exceptionally long cycle just got me on a downer!! I'll be fine though, got lots of SWI'ing to be getting on with now that AF is over and I will be hanging around!x

zippys · 09/04/2010 07:15

Hi ladies. Sorry I have been mia for a while. Huge congrats to lucky, how you told dh was so sweet.

Hi to any newbies I haven't met yet.

I have been quiet as had bad news docs think sickness is hormone related and likely to be cause of fertility issues. Very very upset at the moment and trying not to think about ttc at mo as when I do all I want to do is cry

sorry to be so depressive, will still be lurking here but just may not post for a while. X

haloflo · 09/04/2010 07:22

Morning all.

AF hit me in the middle of the night so just updating the stats.

lucky I didn't add you to the grads list in case you wanted to wait until this after your test today & also have the honours yourself.

chico let us know how you get on this morning too & what CD you think you are on now.

Just seen your post zippys I am really sorry to hear you are feeling like this. Is there any chance now they know that it could be linked to hormones that they can start helping you fix it? I hope so. Look after yourself and come back when you can. xx

maamalady · 09/04/2010 07:47

zippy sending you lots of hugs, I do hope the doc can help x

claireinthecommunity · 09/04/2010 13:31

Congratulations luckyseven lovely way to tell DH.

So sorry to hear your news zippy.

I'm a bit quiet of late too, I'm reducing the meds that I'm taking and I'm having a few side effects. Again, TTC is not at the forefront of my mind at the mo.

Hello to the newbies

luckyseven · 09/04/2010 14:35

so here goes, after getting a 'pregnant 1 - 2 weeks' this morning on the clearblue digital i am going to nervously graduate and want to thank you all for your kindness and friendship since i joined the thread that has kept me sane! Cavemum ? Congratulations on passing your exam with a highly commended and all the best for the 9th May! Hope you are getting to grips with the temping ? stick with it, it is the cheapest ttc aid and probably the most useful. Any tips for the national after our win on baby run at the Gold Cup ? must go and see if there are any ttc related horses!

Calligraphy ? when going through the thread to catch up properly i noticed your message was withdrawn. If you are checking you are still in our thoughts and look forward to seeing you back here when you are ready

Kurly hope you are having a great holiday ? majorly jealous of your ability to sport a skimpy bikini!

Flick hope you are also having a relaxing holiday reading Haloflo?s recommended david Nicholls book, might treat myself to it for our trip to Sicily in two weeks!

Dinkytinky hope you are keeping positive on the two week wait. I noticed in your symptom spotting you were getting forgetful well that can def be a sign as i drove into the wrong street the other day! Ref the mountain climbing I love being outdoors (we have no garden) and like you I am petrified of heights, even standing on a chair to change a bulb makes me woozy, but being up a mountain isn?t too bad if you stay away from the edge!

Pipsicles did you get your marking done? My parents are teachers and always leave it to the last minute. There is an article in Grazia this week about whether it is possible to think yourself infertile in the desperation to get pg. I think the columnist said she goes on forums ? are you the grazia girl?

Claireinthecommunity rehearsing sounds fun and your repertoire sounds fab ? quite a talented bunch on here what with the musicians and the dancers ? First Time Frolickers Cabaret anyone?

Haloflo Gutted about AF i want you to come with me to the grads. I hope you don?t think this is wierd but I have a Clearblue Fertility Monitor that i (hopefully) won?t be using for a while, private message me here if you want a loan of it and i could get it to you before cd6. I was exaggerating about mountain it is called a mountain but more like a big hill but great views of the city and i got windburnt!

Kaloki ?i hope the blood tests show up something that can be dealt with quickly and easily and you aren?t held back much longer in ttc.

Cherrycobbler good luck with the temping like i said to cavemum i think it is worth all the hassle in the end. This month was the first month that my temps, ewcm and CBFM matched up, when i first came off the pill i was getting 6 positive opks and had no idea when i was ovulating so the temping was really useful as was fertilityfriend.com

Kkas hope taking a break works for you and hope to see you on here soon, you are a master at the list too!

Wannamummy bon anniversaire for Sunday!

Pinkypoo ? zumba is fab, i did it for a couple of weeks last year but then the tutor got pg and stopped and it was the only class in the area. Hope the sun shines for your weekend with oh?s dd and i also hope your tiredness is a sign!

Mrswajsglad you are getting more used to temping, any decisions about the dog?

Ariesgirl great to heat you have been busy with the business over Easter i really admire your entrepreneurship and hope we get the hot summer we deserve and you have a super successful season.

Bunny ? thanks for the invite to the grads thread will venture over when this all feel a bit more real!

Zippys i really hope they find a quick fix for the sickness, gutted for you but hopefully it means you are on the road to recovery and a lovely BFP

spanishlady do you have a due date yet? I think if all goes to plan i could be due on 19th December ? Christmas could be interesting!

SpanishLady · 09/04/2010 14:43

I dont have an official due date yet as havent seen a midwife/Dr yet but per my own little calculations I think I am due 10th Dec!
