Hi all, not posted for a little while but have been checking when I get chance.

Been quite busy with work and all this weekend as well so far with doing decorating, can hardly get to the computer as there is a radiator blocking the desk which DH has kindly placed here... In some ways its better to be keeping busy as less time to obsess over symptoms, getting pregnant etc. Trying to take things a bit easier this month, and just trying to try every other day regardless in the hope that that will be the key. However can't help thinking that breathing in paint fumes, climbing up and down ladders and shifting furniture about may not be the best method for TTC!

Been difficult keeping up with all the goings on on this thread!
Big congratulations to mumsnerves and hoping to hear continuing good news from aly soon. Welcome to all the new people too.

pipcicles I'm glad you asked about the EWCM as I was wondering the same thing myself! I think I know what is is but I'd never realised it was specific to certain times of the month before! Will have to pay more attention.

Must go and chill out for a bit now. Hope you are all having an ok Easter weekend. x x

Well AF is due today. I had cramping last night, nausea, and now boobs are sore and nipples enlarged, but I often get these symptoms before AF anyway. However, this morning I have slightly darker CM than usual sort of a light orangey brown. It doesn't really look like blood but I guess it could be a tiny spot mixed with normal CM. That is strange because I don't normally have any spotting before AF. Have friends coming to stay today until Weds so won't be able to test until Thurs am which is probably a good thing so I won't be able to drive myself mad symptom spotting.
Although I know the chances aren't high this month because we didn't dtd much at the right time, I have this strange feeling that it could be our month, and I haven't said anything to DH, where normally I drive him mad symptom spotting as well.

felicityFlick · 04/04/2010 13:13

Fingers crossed for you chico any news aries and spanish?

Still sending positive vibes aly's way xxx

felicityFlick · 04/04/2010 13:17

Oh sorry aries- Just saw your news on the other thread. Bummer- sorry love xx

zippys · 04/04/2010 13:50

Happy easter everyone - sat here eating Lindor bunny (any excuse to eat chocolate loving easter smilies!

Aries sorry to hear of AF's arrivals.

Sorry I havnt got time for a long post as visiting friends in a min but just watned to come on and say a quick hello.

Anyway better run sorry for short post, good luck to anyone testing soon. x

maamalady · 04/04/2010 14:29

Hello all, just reporting in - still no change here, arrrgh. Will probably call the doctors and arrange a blood test next week.

Commiserations to all who have had AF arrive.

CaveMum · 04/04/2010 14:29

Happy Easter to all - and Happy Chocolate Eating 4-day Weekend to any non-Christians!

zippys I've got a Lindt bunny waiting for me later too! I'm cooking a leg of lamb at the moment so it'll have to wait for now!

I think DH and I are going to have "the talk" tonight so I'll try to fill you all in later on or tomorrow! I don't expect any massive news, more a matter of sorting out timings and stuff. We bought the Pregnacare vitamins yesterday so we're on the right road at the moment!

Hope everyone is well, aly we're still thinking of you.

kkas · 04/04/2010 16:00

zippys and cavemum already finished off my lindt bunny! oops! but yummy! good luck with your talk later cave aries sorry re AF. i know how you feel. i've started spotting, so expect her to show up to spoil the lovely weekend tomorrow at least we have choc 's to take the edge off eh

kkas · 04/04/2010 16:01

wannamummy · 04/04/2010 16:41

Happy easter everyone! I have not yet stuffed my face with chocolate as I've been too hung over...

Was at a friend's wedding yesterday which was superb, but too much of the sparkly stuff

On the other hand, EWCM has appeared, so maybe things are regulating nicely! Here's hoping

CaveMum · 04/04/2010 20:53

Aries I'm dreading updating the list at dome stage too!

Anyway ladies, I am pleased to announce that WE HAVE A PLAN!!!!!!!
DH and I have had our chat and agreed on a TTC plan. To be fair it's not really any different to those that I posted the other day!

I'm going to come off the pill at the end of May and spend 2 or 3 months monitoring my cycles as I have no idea what they will be like! I've been on the pill since I was 15 as I had such irregular periods - at one stage once every two weeks! -so who knows how long it will take for them to sort themselves out.

If all goes according to plan we will start actively TTC in September, which would result in a summer 2011 bub at the very earliest. That should allow us time to sell our house in the spring.

I promise you this will be THE most planned pregnancy in history

Anyway, we've bought the Pregnacare His & Hers Conception tablets and will start taking them in the next couple of weeks.

So there we have it, we are officially on TTC countdown! I'm so glad Ive got you ladies to talk to about this: think I'd go mad if I had to keep it all bottled up!

Ariesgirl · 04/04/2010 21:03

I take it you'll still be shagging during the "monitoring" period? Ot will you be using condoms? Would be hilarious if you got pg immediately! (sorry for blunt slang usage - have spent a lot of quality time in the BESH Gin Palace)

Oh and thanks for doing the list again lucky. Sorry I'm so crap.

CaveMum · 04/04/2010 21:11

Aries we'll be using condoms - though I know what you mean, I'll probably end up getting pregnant right away!

At the moment with DH living away from home during the week it will mean less likelyhood of us both being in the right place at the right time, but DH has said we'll try to work something out with either me going down to his base (phnar phnar!) or him coming home mid-week.

mumnerves · 04/04/2010 22:34

Cherrycobbler Sorry about af DH was lovely to take you out for a meal. I hope you drank some alcohol and ate some pate

pipsicles I may be wrong but I heard that green tea increased EWCM so I was drinking lots before ovulating and then stopped??! I am on folic acid anyway though and stopped the green tea now except for the odd cuppa. Sorry about BFN but, No af is a good sign

Bunny thanks for changing the month, I didn't even notice myself

kurly have a lovely holiday.

mrsWajs sorry about AF but I'm glad you sound relieved about it.

Calligraphy Not sure what has happened but I hope you get it sorted soon ((hugs))

Cavemum sounds like a good plan At least once you understand your cycle you can relax a bit and just ahem enjoy the ride

Thanks for the congratulations to anyone I've not said thanks to yet. Just got back from MIL's place so shattered and will post more tomorrow. Happy easter everyone!

PinkiePoo · 05/04/2010 09:14

mrswajs HELLO!! You got the af then after all. Booo, but echoing mumnerves it must be a relief it is finally here.

Hope everyone is gonna have a lovely bank hols today....finish off those choccies, and prop our SWI feet up, we deserve it

Ariesgirl · 05/04/2010 10:03

Anyone else seen Aly's post on the graduate's thread? She's having a bit of a 'mare, poor love. No wonder she's been very quiet recently.
