Evening girly girls, how are you all?

Homebound Gosh sounds horrid, I hope things get better for you soon.

Yorkshire Sorry about your BFN.

Claire What a strange AF. Is it tailing off now.

Chalky Congratulations!!!

Giraffe Hmmmm I'm keeping my eye on you my girl.

Bellaby That channel 4 programme makes me cringe but also makes me want to be a bit of a hippy Mum. I'm wanting to go down the hypnobirthing and waterbirth route. Now saying that, it'll probably come to it and I'll be demanding an epidural.

Pidgin Have you been over to the grads thread yet?

Well not much to report from me apart from the fact that I drove ALL the way to work at stupid o'clock this morning to find out that the only reason I was supposed to be there was cancelled. So I promptly came back home, this is what happens when people don't communicate with each other.

claireinthecommunity · 01/03/2010 18:47

Calligraphy, it certainly does AF has pretty much come to a stop now, 3 days - a record for me.

Homebound, hope something happens for you soon.

maamalady · 01/03/2010 19:21

Sorry about the BFN, Yorkshire - looks like we're in the same boat with BFNs but still no AF! Still no sign of AF here, if it doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll be testing again on Wednesday morning. Sod's law of course if I do that AF will start on Wednesday afternoon...

mumnerves · 01/03/2010 20:26

A few more symptoms??! Still no temp dip and my boobies now feel full( I feel like a cow!!) I was out of breath just walking to work(I'm quite fit) and am getting AF like pains. Got a slight pinkish discharge today but nothing more.
DH and I have decided if still no temperature dip tomorrow morning then I'm going to POAS. Oh, and about 4-5 days ago I was wondering how anchovies would taste like dipped in chocolate??!! I'm feeling really bloated though and eating lots (can't put nutella and cheese away!) Anyway, if AF turns up at least the food would have made me feel better!

calligraphy82 Thanks, I'm still getting the nosebleeds and my nose seems blocked alot I didn't know nosebleeds were a poss symptom! If I 'm not pregnant, I think I'll have to go to the dr anyway

evilgiraffe and Yorkshire sorry about the BFN, keeping fingers crossed for you!

claire hope that horrible AF was just a one off, hopefully it's just your cycle getting back in gear!

kurlyvoice sorry AF got you, but at least you can now chart your cycle, don't feel too down, I know the hormones don't help but we're all here for you. I know exactly what you mean about DH not understanding as much as he tries, mines exactly the same! The hugs are much appreciated though when feeling down

bunnygirl80 · 01/03/2010 21:18

claire Glad AF seems to be settling down for you. Don't watch Marley and Me if you're feeling even remotely hormonal......I don't want to be held responsible for the blubfest that will result

Yorkshire Sorry about the BFN. I hope you get into the doctors soon - it seems like months since you had your tests done

Chalky Congrats on being together for 13 years. I know how you feel about people asking when you're going to have a baby. I think I've spent such a long time perfecting the image of someone who doesn't really like children people don't bother asking anymore.

homebound Poor you having another incredibly long cycle. Do you know whether you've ovulated or not yet?

giraffe sorry about the BFN - but with two pints of squash on board your pee was probably too diluted. Test with FMU next time so we all know you've got an accurate result

mumnerves I'm liking the sound of your sypmtoms! A stuffy nose is a sign of pg....I'll be keeping an eye out for when you test. Am crossing everything for you (even my legs as am on 2ww now!!)

I had some good news yesterday. All of our things that we shipped over from the UK have arrived and been cleared by customs so it's being delivered on Friday. I'm more excited than I get over Christmas and my birthday.....I can't wait to get all my lovely stuff back. Although I'm not sure where we're going to put it all - I think I've got used to the minimalist look of the house

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2010 21:34

Oh my, mumnerves! How much more proof do you need? Anchovies in chocolate ffs! Cow-like udders etc? Piss on a stick immediately.
As for me still waiting. Also have cow-like udders and dizzy/queasy. So we'll see.

maamalady · 01/03/2010 21:39

Mumnerves you are so pregnant! Test test test!

Hermya321 · 01/03/2010 21:53

Oooooo Mumsnerves I'm glad I checked on here tonight, I'm going to keep my eye on you, and you Aries.

bunnygirl80 · 01/03/2010 21:55

Forgot to say in my last post:

mumnerves TEST TEST TEST! I am going to be on the egde of my seat. Make sure you post as soon as you POAS - don't worry about telling your DH the result - WE NEED TO KNOW!! I only say this as morning for you is bedtime for me and I can't stand the thought of going to bed tonight not knowing.

Am being incredibly hypocritical there as I haven't put my stats up this month so that people (including myself) won't chant at me!!

Also, those of you complaining about small boobage issues - at least when yours grow during pg they'll still be a managable size! I'm a D cup to start off with, and they go up to a DD post-ov. Goodness knows how they would respond to pg hormones, but I'm becoming seriously scared that they'll try and take over the world

Bellaby · 01/03/2010 22:04

Go Mumnerves Go - let us know. Sounds very convincing to me.

Aries - when are you next testing?

All my good intentions about being healthy this week have gone out of the window today -ate chocolate & biscuits straight after my lunch and didn't get home from work until 9:40 so just eaten dinner in bed - a hot cross bun with honey & hot chocolate. Delicious but feeling very guilty now. And don't even mention exercise - that has been terrible for the last 4 months!

Bunny - perhaps you could share a bit of your boobage around to the rest of us

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2010 22:07

Will not test. I have decided against ever doing so unless I'm late. So that means waiting until Thurs/Fri.

Bellaby · 01/03/2010 22:20

you are very strong willed!

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 01/03/2010 22:22

Oh my goodness.

Just POAS in a speculative manner. Using an ebay cheapie, cos I figured I can waste them at will. Wasn't expecting anything, just thought I'd checked as am now 2 days late and no obvious signs of AF yet.

I got a line...

It's very very faint.

It's an internet cheapie, could well be wrong.

We are getting our referral to the fertility clinic tomorrow cos we're not any good at this conception malarky.

But I've still got a line...

Evenin', and mumnerves may I subtly but just as strongly echo everyone else by saying TSET TSET TSET (in my best Roald Dahl fashion as WBD approaches).

Am starting to think that I imagined the two slightly red wipes of Saturday - absolutely zip since despite feeling sore. Am just waiting for the flow so that I can be CD1 and use my beautifully taken temperatures and play with charts...

As for the conversation about Marley and Me, I watched it on the plane on our honeymoon and cried my eyes out - poor DH. Suffice to say that he didn't watch it, and that when customs forcibly removed my bouquet from me as I wasn't allowed to take it into their special little microclimate, my emotions were already a little raw! The buying-the-jewellery section seemed like a good idea at the time, though.

Lots of love and hugs to everyone else (TSET TSET) but, from me, only a quick one tonight as I have been working through until now and must get my beauty sleep!

pip pip

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2010 22:36

Blimey Yorkshire! Blimey! Do another in morning with posh test and fresh, concentrated wee!

kurlyvoice · 01/03/2010 22:38

ARGH CROSS POSTS!
yorkshire that is RATHER exciting.
Ooooooooooooo! Am very excited for you and will be dreaming about babies now I'm sure (unless I dream about Glee). Please keep us up to date!
xxx

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 01/03/2010 22:40

Fortunately this crazy baby lady is fore-armed. Got a first response on standby. Now drinking loads of squash in an effort to generate more wee.

DH went to bed really early. I woke him to tell him I'd done a test and got two lines. He mumbled "what's that's mean?" I said, "well, i wouldn't have woken you up if it was negative, would I"?"

The poor soul was tired, bemused and a little shell-shocked.

As am I. Except for the tired bit. Can't go to sleep until I've found out what the first response says. I may yet have to go to the 24 hour Asda and get a clear blue digital.

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 01/03/2010 23:17

Just tried again with the first response. Definately two lines. Looks like its a BFP then.

I know its 1st March, but this BFP definately belongs to lucky February.

I know its early days. I know there is so much that could go wrong and I shouldn't get too excited. But that doesn't stop me sitting here with an innane grin on my face thinking "I'm going to be a Mummy".

And after all that excitement, I suppose I'd better go to bed and try and get some sleep. Night all.

bunnygirl80 · 01/03/2010 23:22

OMG YORKSHIRE I'm sooooooooo excited for you. Don't drink too much squash though as it'll dilute your pee and might give you a false negative.

Thank god for the invention of 24 hr supermarkets.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for news.

OP posts:
claireinthecommunity · 01/03/2010 23:25

Oh wow Yorkshire, I have such a huge grin on my face for you - Fantastic!!!!

Bellaby · 01/03/2010 23:34

Yorkshire - brilliant - hope you manage to get some sleep with all the excitement.

bunnygirl80 · 01/03/2010 23:40

Oh Yorkshire I am truly so happy for you. Reading your news has actually brought a tear (or three) to my eyes. You've waited so long for this and now it's actually happening, just as you were feeling so disheartened by it all. This is by far and away the happiest I've been reading of someone's BFP on here (sorry to the rest of you!) but you've been so supportive of everyone else on here it's definitely your turn.

As you've been prediciting for so long that it would happen this month have you considered hiring out your services as a psychic.

And it still counts for lucky February as that's when the bean was conceived.

I'm sending you as many sticky vibes as I can muster. I hope you have a very happy and uneventful pregnancy.
