giraffe sorry about the BFN - I feel bad that we all egged you on to test now. Enjoy your beers

chance I forgot you only had one tube- I think you deserve an extra congrats for managing to get your BFP so quickly. I'm sure with your history your GP will send you for an early scan as it's obviously very important to locate your bean(s!)

good luck with moving back here - I think I'm only just recovering from the stress of the move and it was 2 months ago. I don't envy you trying to do it while pg.

kkas and capricorn sorry about AF. Hope you get better luck next cycle

hermya Poor you crying in front of your tutor - could you have told them you were just distraught that Mr Nice Voice had left!

yorkshire Glad the nurse seemed to know what she was doing this time. And you won't need the results this month as you are going to get your february bfp

It looks like I'm the only one who won't be having a Valentine's day bonkathon. I'll either have AF or a BFP!! Think it's more likely that I'll have AF as I ov'd 10 days earlier than I was expecting so I feel like we didn't bd enough this time. We were bd every other day for a week before, so maybe I'm just used to having to keep going for so long.

Thanks bunny. My confidence about February being my month is wavering a bit, so its good to know that you are sure!

Hopefully you'll get a Valentines BFP - what a great gift that would be, beats a bunch of roses any day!

OP posts:

Morning fellow boob jigglers.

Kkas, Mumnerves and Capricorn sorry AF hit.

Capricorn at least you know something will happen now, fingers crossed for your treatment.

KKas hope you manage to get some shopping done in NY - I have never been and would love to go.

Linz I had really sore boobs when I first came off the pill, I took it to mean all the nartural hormones were starting again.

Evilgiraffe sorry for the BFN - I feel bad we encouraged you so much

Hermya hope today is a better day for you, its horrible when there is nothing you can do to stop yourself from crying. Hope you managed to get some studying done, what is your course on?

Yorkshire lets hope these test all get done ok this time! Although as said before you wont need them as you will have BFP in Feb

Kaloki it is not sad, I am broody at anything too

Bunny lets hope it is a valentines BFP for you this month. I will be post AF but before fertile time, so it will be preseason friendlys for me

Well as anticipated AF has now arrived, so now got to contend with feeling sick (which is now all day not just in the morning!) and AF cramps - deep joy

Getting really down from the sickess as getting more worried as it is obviously getting worse.

Oh just spotted this - i think is is me at the moment - v confused with whats going on with my body!

But on a positive note, I am now in cycle 9, which I think was a good one per Bunny's stats. Also a few months ago I said I would get my BFP in March for a Xmas baby, so maybe this is the month for me

Just putting myself to the bottom

chancewouldbeafinething · 03/02/2010 18:49

zippys Sorry AF hit, only consolation there is at least whatever treatment you need to have done you wont be worrying about he effect on a bean. March is your month can you at least enjoy a wine or 2?

hermya I hope you had a better day today

bunny i know i am impressed about that as well, i was always told that the 1 i still have would compensate for the missing one, DH thinks it deserves a pat on the back

kaloki Its not sad, i almost cried today when a kid dropped his glove...now that is sad (he was a very cute little boy)

evil still feel bad for adding to the test rant hope you are having a beer again tonight.

I did the other test today...it still says 'pregnant' i think i should stop now its an expensive habit!
fingers crossed for some more graduates soon xxxx

Hermya321 · 03/02/2010 19:54

Evening All!! Well today was an absolute flop course wise and well the less said about that the better. Tomorrow is another day and all that. I had a temperature spike today, but also had some EWCM so BDing to cover our backs. My boobs really really hurt at the moment and I'm so tired. But there you go.

Mumsnerves Sorry you're feeling a bit down at the moment, you'll get there in the end. We all will. Thank you for your comment yesterday, I do feel a bit better today.

Yorkshire I'm hoping so as well, thank goodness they were better this time when they took your bloods. I hope that when the time comes that you won't need your referral. Fingers crossed!!

Bunny I did mention that Mr Nice Voice leaving had put me off a bit, he just gave me a look. LOL. I'm hoping that according to your theory that month one is a good one for me. I think OV has put me on the path of the walking hormone again. Oh dear.

Zippys I'm doing a driving skills course, so lots of theory to remember and looking at how and why you drive the way you do. It's really intensive and I feel like my brain has turned into cheese. Although I can't really know what your sickness is like, I can sympathise a little as for the past week and a half I've had a lot of nausea as well. I hope they get it sorted soon.

Chance I'm putting this day down as a fallout from yesterday, tomorrow will be my day!! How many tests have you taken altogether?

maamalady · 03/02/2010 20:18

Don't feel bad, guys, no harm done! I wasn't really expecting anything else anyway, especially as it was my first cycle post-pill. So now I'm in my first "real" cycle since coming off it, which is no bad thing really. Ooo, and because it's a "real" cycle rather than a pseudo-real-actually-fake one, I can count the current one as cycle one and get the cycle one luck, maybe...?

fudgecat · 03/02/2010 20:45

Evening all

sorry to hear about the AF evil Hermya there is only two days between us on our cycles so i know what you mean about ambushing

Lucielooo i feel a bit about your dad - i dont think id want to know about the circumstances of my conception

kkas it was kind of you to think of us from the other side of the pond, sorry about the AF

chance good luck at the docs, im sure you will have a good chance of an early scan

bunnygirl at your 0% chance of getting anything from your DH on valentines - tell him Fudgecat will come and slap him unless he gets you something special

hope you feel better soon zippy

its not been a great week for me so far, nothing major just some stress at work At least the BDing takes my mind off it for a while

bunnygirl80 · 03/02/2010 23:14

evil I'm on my second cycle 3 as I decided when AF came this time that I was no longer counting the first cycle as DH was away when I ov'd. Also, you are supposed to have one pill free cycle before TTC to help with dating, so I reckon you can have another cycle 1. If only to stop me from being the only one who gets accused of stats tampering

fudgecat I'll pass the message on I think I may have painted DH in a bad light, as we never celebrate Valentine's day - mainly because I don't see why I need Hallmark cards to tell us when to be romantic. [miserable cynical hag emoticon] He has been known to have flowers delivered to me at work on my birthday/ our anniversary so he's not that bad.

zippys I never really thought anyone would take the thoery seriously so I never researched it past cycle 7. 9 is actually the next number that seems lucky to me so we can add it to the list.

Maybe I should research the theory more fully! I'm off work till the middle of next week so I could trawl all the TTC threads and do a proper statistical analysis with a graph and everything

I'm 7dpo so starting on the boob jiggling. I'm sure it's pointless as they go up a cup size post ov anyway and I think they only get sore from the constant jiggling and prodding.

I found out today that one of my oldest friends (length of time known not agewise ) is pg with her first. I had an inkling she might have been TTC as we had a girly get together before I moved and all the signs were there - i.e. not drinking when we usually like to have a few bottles glasses of wine and avoiding the "when are you having kids" questions from the rest of our group of friends! I did exactly the same that weekend too! I'm really happy for her, although it would be nice if I'm not too far behind

OP posts:
FelicityFlick · 04/02/2010 05:49

Hi Everyone,

Nothing new to report- Just checking in! Still no AF so will do a test tomorrow just on the off chance something has happened down there! I am really just checking as I have two parties this weekend and want to relax and have a drink or two without thinking "what if?' (although saying that I always think that anyway when I get a BFN, except it's more like 'What if the test is wrong?')

Bunny, You are so good updating the list each day! Do you want me to share the job with you as I am up and about at a similar time to you? It must get pretty boring doing it everyday!

Great news about your friend and I'm sure you're not too far behind

Have a great day everyone xxx

Hermya321 · 04/02/2010 07:45

Morning all!! How are you all this morning? I'm well. Boobs are still sore, so no jiggling for me. I also still have strange pokey pains on my right hand side, I assumed this was due to egg being set free to float towards its destiny. However, they're still there a few days later. Weirdness abounds.

Fudgecat Oooo cycle buddies (Oh my gosh, how cringey is that, sorry). I'm sorry that work isn't so much fun for you at the moment. I can sympathise, but it's never nice. I hope you have a better day today.

Bunny Thanks for updating the stats today, I think your trawling would be interesting, I for one would love to see that graph.

Well I'm off, I'm armed with some killer mascara and my new blusher. If today does go Pete Tong at least I'll be looking fab!

seablue · 04/02/2010 14:49

Hello everyone! I've been on a course these last two days, hence the silence. Driving skills sounds stressful hermya - I still can't drive so am filled with admiration!

Congratulations chance!!!!!

Commiserations evil and everyone else. capricorn, really hoping this is your month so you can cancel that IUI!

Thanks pidgin and chalky for your support over my "stuttering start" (TM yorkshire). Still stuttering along, so I guess I'm out for this month (after a week of stuttering, AF should come in full agonising force tomorrow or Saturday. Enough with the bleeding already!)

pidgin - have you just come off the Pill? Or have you been bleeding around 5dpo for a while? Just wondering if you have any idea what it is? I've been off the Pill for more than 3 years, so it's not that with me. Or low progesterone. Am wondering about endometriosis...

But I take heart from chance with one ovary and one tube! We'll get there!

Can we say that 11 is a lucky number too please?

Have good afternoons, everyone.

Pidgin · 04/02/2010 18:14

Hi seablue - I was on the pill for about ten years so I figured that could be part of what's going on with me. It's a bit confusing though - I've been off the pill 8 months now, and I had several more normal cycles (i.e. less stuttering!) before this started a couple of months ago. Or at least I think I did - it's only in the past few months that I've been keeping such an active eye on things, iyswim - so I could have been spotting a bit before and not noticed, I guess. 5DPO is the earliest it's started, but 6/7DPO is fairly common for me.

I have no idea what it is - at the moment I'm just trying not to worry about it and see what happens. I'll probably go to the GP if it lasts a couple more months. I've I guess any unusual spotting should be checked out anyway, irrespective of TTC. Low progesterone is possible, I guess - do you know it's not that for you? I'm hopeful it's not endometriosis because I don't have any other symptoms - although apparently some people don't have any other symptoms, I get the impression pain is common, having had a look at sites like this one

Anyway here's hoping we stop stuttering soon! It's bloody annoying for one thing! (no pun intended...)

seablue · 04/02/2010 18:39

hi pidgin thanks for the link. I was on the Pill for 15 years or so before I came off 3 years ago, so perhaps there's a link... Definitely not low progesterone for me. But I know what you mean - I don't get any of the other symptoms of endometriosis (apart from period pain, but it's only terrible for four hours or so on Day 1). And (tmi) an upset stomach on CD1 - but I think that's par for the course in this whole Being a Woman thing we're engaged in. Anyway - hope the B6 does the trick. I might give agnus castus another whirl... I normally start stuttering on 6/7DPO too - hmmm. Glad I'm not the only one!

Meant to say earlier - really hope the nausea improves zippys.

Hermya321 · 04/02/2010 20:17

Evening all! Well yet again today was a flop and I ended up in tears again. I have decided that I'm not going to take this though. I am going to pick myself up and shake off this negative attitude and go in there tomorrow and kick some ass wearing my killer mascara! I can drive and I will not listen to those little negative voices that tell me that I can't.

Anyway, mini rant over. I just had to put this out there.

Apart from that, good day. I saw some old friends at lunchtime, it was really nice to see them and to hear that they're doing well.

I'm now officially into my 2WW, luckily I have other things to keep me out of trouble. Although I do keep jiggling my boobs and poking them to see if they feel tender, the answer is yes but I keep poking them to make sure. Anyone done this?

How is everyone else this evening?

Seablue eleven can be a lucky one as well and you're right we will all get there!! It is stressful, but I'm glad that I'm doing it.

bunnygirl80 · 04/02/2010 21:13

It's been quiet on here today!

Hermya sorry you've had another bad day. I find that at this stage in my cycle my boobs are sore from all the prodding - I'm pretty sure that if I left them alone they'd be fine!

seablue 11 is definitely a lucky one as part of the 1,3,7 theory was that they are prime numbers and so is 11 so it still fits the theory!

Not much to report for me. No symptoms to spotted yet but not that hopeful for this month anyway. I'm mainly just interested to see how long my cycle will be as it's been different every month!

OP posts:
claireinthecommunity · 04/02/2010 23:03

I haven't been on the last few days as I've not been feeling too good - period hormones I think, resulting in a bit of a roller-coaster of emotions But, I'm beginning to climb out of my little hole, so, I thought I'd come and say hi!

Hope to feel a little more chatty over the next few days

Kaloki · 04/02/2010 23:37

Hi claire hormones are evil things aren't they, glad you are starting to feel better!

I've been cramping for the last 2 days, which is odd on days 8 and 9. Please body start being normal again!

FelicityFlick · 05/02/2010 01:15

Hi everyone,

Hope your course goes well today Hermya. Like seablue I am filled with admiration. I can drive but find it so stressful and when I was learning to drive I used to end up in tears every lesson. I was so terrible at it that my instructor 'sacked' me!! He said he thought it was best that we parted company as he didn't feel he could 'move me on any further' So I totally understand where you are coming from...but you are right and YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Claire I am feeling a bit like I think you have the past few days. Very down in the dumps and gloomy which is not usual for me. I hope it is period hormones in my case... I'm glad you are feeling better now

Kaloki I am with you, I want my body to be normal again too!

Any update on your findings yet bunny?!

Hope you're feeling ok zippys

Yesterday my copy of Taking Charge of your Fertility Arrived and boy what a big thick book it is! I am off on holiday next week and I think I will be bringing it as my holiday reading. I can't wait to get stuck into it!

Ouch - AF is here - ouch ouch ouch ouch. I have a meeting in a moment - perhaps I could mask pacing up and down as a dynamic creative thinking style? Did I mention ouch?

So - am plunging myself down to the bottom of the list.

Roll on lucky number 11 - thanks for bolstering the Lucky Prime Number theory, hermya and bunnygirl! Hope the mascara does the trick today!

flick and claire - hope you feel cheerier soon - hormones are weird. It's only since taking more notice because of ttc that I'm really aware of how cyclical my mood is and what a crazy lady this makes me!
