Come on in ladies, the bar is fully stocked with Advocaat, Bailey's and novelty Xmas drinkies and the slaves are wearing Ann Summer 'Santa's Hat' posing pouches. Have also festooned the place with plenty of festive tat and lots of v un-eco and tacky Xmas lights and shit because I know we all love getting Xmassy dead early. There's a fireplace so you can send your wish list to Santa up the chimbley, platters of wooden spoons and coconuts on the mantlepiece and 'Mulled Wine' scented candles lighting up The Pit of Despair. Make yourselves at home!

I don't think you're being insensitive iggy, if you can't vent to the BESHies who can you vent to?

I just remembered I dreamt I had a baybee last night. Except it was not a good dream because I left it sleeping in the car while I went somewhere else and then I couldn't find the car again. I was running round London trying to find my baybee before it got too cold. I think at the end the police had found it and taken it away because I was a Bad Mother.

Scorpette · 22/11/2009 22:22

It's waaaay too early for me to POAS but I'm having near-constant low-level wombling grumbles and I felt a bit sick earlier - can I convince myself yet?

OP posts:
Muser · 22/11/2009 22:30

You know you can! I have no wombular grumblings. Just these boobs. Which will probably turn out to be nothing and then I will feel foolish.

When can you POAS scorps? I think Medee and me might be testing around the same time (although it would be a bit early for me, but I know I'll cave).

Scorpette · 22/11/2009 23:06

Today is only DPO6 so... tomorrow another week? Dreaded dr**d due next Monday/Tuesday. Boobs are also sore but are always hurty after Ov

OP posts:
Medee · 22/11/2009 23:07

ooh, we will be testing around the same time, Scorp.

Scorpette · 22/11/2009 23:43

To aid those desperately seeking symptoms of diffed-ness, my mum tells me she had absolutely nothing to speak of. Of course back then, she says, they waited till their droid was well late and then went to doctor to test. She was three months gone with both of us when she had it confirmed.

How could you wait that long???????

Medee/scorps POAFS ASAP!

PandoraBraithwaite · 23/11/2009 08:54

ARSEFECKBOLLOCKS (not too early for swearing is it BESHes?)

As predicted, day 28 came and went with no sign of THAT droid, followed by a day of deluding myself, feeling a little sicky again but wondering why my boobs had gone back to their non-bouncy state when I was sooo obviously updiffed. Day 29, nothing till I went to bed then a little bit of browny pinky stuff. Got up in the morning convinced the tide would be there to greet me but just a little bit of browny pink stuff again. WHAT is going on???

skihorse · 23/11/2009 08:58

POAS! POAS! poas! POAS! POAS!

etc., etc. ad nauseum!

Sounds good Pandy! You know what you have to do...

Medee · 23/11/2009 09:01

how early can I POAS (currently CD33, UCL 40-42)

Muser · 23/11/2009 09:08

POAS Pandora! G'wan g'wan g'wan.

Bessie123 · 23/11/2009 09:09

Good morning, BESHes.

Medee - I don't even understand those stats, sorry.

I think I might be updiffed. I can POAS on Wednesday (or maybe tomorrow if I am feeling impatient). I was really tired and dizzy all day yesterday, what do you reckon? That's a good symptom, right?

skihorse · 23/11/2009 09:11

Medee I need to know, why is your husband so convinced he's given you his "quality man-muck" this month?

Earliest you can POAS is next Monday with Scorps - please to go stand in the menkul corner.

CurlyCasper · 23/11/2009 09:19

bessie sound good. When are you actually due on? (POAS anyway though )

Medee · 23/11/2009 09:29

it's from the "bus" threads, Bessie - CD = cycle day and UCL = usual cycle length. I usually abhor the use of acronyms on MN, so apologies.

Isn't every man convinced he dispenses quality man-muck all the time, ski and that only we are to blame if nothing happens?!

I reckoned I was a week away from POASing. I shall hide in a corner and rock gently.

givecarrotsachance · 23/11/2009 09:32

medee that's a long ol' cycle...

I bought those cheapy ebay STPO at 10 for £1 (I bought 20 ) so it's kinda ok to do it every day if you want to. Now I know I'll be told off by casper for suggesting such a thing, but for me, it was better than waiting. When they were -ve it was ok because I just said to myself it was too early - better than thinking it may be a +ve and I'm not testing so who knows.

That may not work for everyone, but because those STPO were so cheap it worked for me and saved me a fortune as I'd started doing it with the regular ones...

Medee · 23/11/2009 09:35

tell me about it, Carrots. I was low 30s before the pill. It means 2/3 as many upduffment opportunities as everyone else.

Bessie123 · 23/11/2009 09:39

I usually have a v regular 28 day cycle. I'm due on Saturday so technically I suppose I could POAS today. But (for some reason my droid always shows up on a saturday, ever since I got them back after dd was born) when I was updiffed before (the one I mc) I was due on the saturday and got negative results from tests until Wednesday, even the early digital ones that either tell you how many weeks updiffed you are or call you a LOSER in a what I imagine would be an american accent.

CurlyCasper · 23/11/2009 09:44

how long you been off pill for now meds? (i forget) I had some long cycles (up to 38 days, ov not detected) and didn't conceive till the first 28-dayer, when I defo ov'd on day 14 - and that was about 6 months after stopping pill.

did you detect ov this cycle?

If you've been regular on the 40-odd days just ignore me. But I'm wishful for you that this is a shorter, more successful cycle

CurlyCasper · 23/11/2009 09:50

Yes, deep down I am unBESH like and would say don't do it till nearer Sat bess.

I too had the cheap ebay sticks, but found them ineffective till the last minute (still not solid lines two weeks later). They might be cheap, but the disappointment hurts as much each time. holding off till the day I was due worked for me, so that will be my mantra from now on.

Muser · 23/11/2009 09:58

After peeing on a ridiculous number of sticks last month I promised myself I would be less menkul this month. I want to wait until I'm late. But I'm not due on until the 5th!

skihorse · 23/11/2009 10:00

Muser Have you met Scorps? I think you and her are going to get on brilliantly.

ChoChoSan · 23/11/2009 10:48

hello all, well I have been woolfing like mad, but have come to the conclusion it's going to be a babyfail again this month .

WARNING: self-indulgent misery post

Had been feeling tired, fleeting moments of nausea, and on Thursday/Friday, really sore tits. Sadly, sore tits passed now. POAS yesterday = negatory. Due to POAS officially on Weds.

Feeling really really down due to PMT which hit me like a tonne of bricks last night, and really depressed at the thought of Xmas...first m/c pg would have had me holding a three week old on Xmas day, and second m/c pg would have had me heaving about ready to pop mid-Jan...stop the world, I want to get off.

Can I have a bit of ultra-violence, please, and a bottle of Thunderbirds to drink by myself round the back of the pictures?
