Welcome along women of a certain age. The new palace has a post modern water feature, spouting forth gin from a serious of suspicious looking humps...

CurlyCasper · 23/10/2009 11:33

Oh jeez, I'm writing "oh" far too much today!

Of course you can have free filth. It is free filth Friday. Well, apart from the fact that I'm not in the office.

Freyja, apols, think I was too made of flu to give you the correct newby welcome. Chinese burns and flaming Sambucas all round.

I remember being terribly judgy about a really good mate of mine, who got his girlfriend pregnant pretty much during Finals. Now the fuckers have been married for over a decade, have beautiful, clever, talented and interesting kids, and his wife has all the time in the world to focus on her career. Gah. Does really feel like I did things the wrong way round.

iggypiggy · 23/10/2009 11:38

ski if you discount that random 3 months of trying back in 2007... I have really been SWI for 13 months and am fed up with it.

waspy for your benefit - I had MC in April - first droid was heavier - but then pretty much back to how they were before - only thing is my cycle is now 2 days longer...

scorps I has that exact problem - my bloke (must find suitable acronyn...) has v. stressful job, works v. long hours and to be honest until SWI it was mainly weekend fucking - I prob manage a couple of nights in the week now.. but that is about it. But I never tell him when is 'key' time so we try to do that all month. In Feb we did same as you ski SWI every day from about CD 5 to BFP...

I is well bizzy at work today...

iggypiggy · 23/10/2009 11:39

Actually it will be 14 months... not 13... Arse

CurlyCasper · 23/10/2009 12:53

sorry iggy

On a completely different note, the two graduates from the July bus are called wickedwitch and ghouls. Therefore I decree that we all need halloweeny names to get diffed this month.

Surely I get double baby points for not having to name change to meet this criteria? Or is Casper too "nice"?

OP posts:
skihorse · 23/10/2009 12:54

wickedwitch is a ponygirl - so I think we've filled our ponypregnant quota for this month.

CurlyCasper · 23/10/2009 13:03

Was thinking the opposite ski, as in maybe i need to be getting me a pony if I want to conceive

OP posts:
CurlyCasper · 23/10/2009 13:06

actually, it appears that the halloween name trend has hit the rest of MN anyway. Not being one to follow the fold, I'm going to stick to being an 'original and best' thank you very much.

OP posts:
givecarrotsachance · 23/10/2009 13:38

Casper, I can't help but feel that your name covers all areas. It's a bit halloweeny but that's ok because you don't have to be scary to be halloweeny. It's an original - not following the crowd and also I betcha someone reading this thread has or knows someone with a horse called Casper (does my dog count? dogs are horsey?). So, I guess it must be your month.

Ski This is really my first cycle as only just had first droid as you will remember me being happy about. BUT I've wanted another for 4 years and WANTED to try, just not been in a position to, so while clearly I'm only just starting AND I have form AND I can't count the years I was either protected or just didn't have a bloke to donate to me, I am instantly in the "why haven't I yet had twins" mental state. Clearly I appreciate that's nuts when you and others here have properly been trying for a long time - I'm not taking away from you in any way (like it's a competition for Who Is Most Desperate), I'm just answering the question. IYSWIM.

Frejya According to the fount of all knowledge despite her being barren, TCOYF says every day during FFJ days if your bloke has form or a good swimmers test result, and every other day, with the last on your peak day, if his are a bit on the dodgy side (presumably they stop on the way to set up a market stall selling knocked-off CDs or something).

all I tried to think of an acronym for mine, and all I could think of was YOB (yummy older bloke) which is unfortunate, but mildly amusing so I'm sticking with it.

Frejya · 23/10/2009 14:40

carrots I'm going to just go for it I think. He's not complaining yet so I will use and abuse

Seriously, he's gooorgeous, although he does work incredibly hard and is often stressed also. He's got a son from previous relationship so I assume his little swimmers are Olympic standard... or at least they were. They must be struggling to find my lovely ripened eggs?

Fernet Brancas lined up at the bar if anyone would care to join me

(for medicinal purposes obviously as I will be S.W.I. and need to be at the top of my game)

givecarrotsachance · 23/10/2009 17:13

Frejya Good thing he's not complaining! Neither is YOB, yet! He's certainly up for it as required... Unfortunately there is a chance he may not be good-to-diff for various reasons and given that my eggs are now ancient, who knows. Still, I had DS in early 30s so at least I know I can catch and hold. We will see.

ChoChoSan · 23/10/2009 19:43

Evening Sllaaahhhgs,

Can I join the 2woolf club?

Even though my treatment was abandoned this cycle and I have only had sex once cos the boyf was on a 'spill your seed' ban, and since then I have been squirting progesterone up my foofoo so as not to let the little baby jebus make more angelbabies in heaven?

Due on next Weds...sex once, but done around ov time with 5 fat juicy follicles ready to pop...no symptoms, but still think I should perhaps be giving solemn consideration to the swine flu jab debate...you know, just in case.

Anyway, If my tits aren't fooking killing me by Monday, we know its a babyfail, and I am going to have to explain to my consultant what I have done with my progesterone, given that we were on SEXBAN, and I am going to have to a)telltroot, and admit I recklessley ignored SEXBAN, and then used anti-angelbaby miracle juice. b) say I lost it or c) pretend I'm really fick an thort I shud use it even tho the treatment was abandoned...your thought on this horny dilemma

HawaiianCuntShine · 23/10/2009 20:02

I vote for c) better for them to think you misunderstood the usage instructions than you willfully disobeyed them on SEXBAN (apologize and bat those long eyelashes)

Or even better - can you just insist on progesterone injections next time becuase you are really worried about luteal phase?

If you get diffed with 5 can I have one???

(must find that damn clock - it's ticking SO LOUDLY) Curly I thought you through that thing out!

CurlyCasper · 23/10/2009 20:39

wholly cow - check out the discussions on the day (top right)

PollyPoo · 23/10/2009 20:43

We've been trying 16 months (slumps onto sofa with large vodka)

Just to top my already shit week off, guess what happened on the way to my induction this morning???

A fucking deer leapt out of a hedge and hit my car - completely crushed the front wing, the fucker. I've only had the damn car a week . I'm hoping I am now due some good news and will get updiffed next month. Or at least get my hospital referral soon. Gar

Btw, love the french rugby bloke, he is yummy!

ChoChoSan · 23/10/2009 20:46

What a nightmare Polly, hope you get your car sorted without too much aggro...and look on the brightside...venison for tea!!

skihorse · 23/10/2009 20:55
HawaiianCuntShine · 23/10/2009 23:26

Deer? hmm... deer? (sounds vaguely familiar...) yep, I'm drawing a blank! None of those things here! They sound disasterous to moving vehicles though, so sorry Polly! Chin up, at least the blasted thing didn't kill you! I yam sorry about the car though.

Curly well spotted!!!

I'm going mental now, scorpy will you show me the way? I'm scared.

HawaiianCuntShine · 23/10/2009 23:27

kill hurt you

skihorse · 24/10/2009 07:12

Hawaiian A deer is like an elk, but a third of the size - can still do sizeable damage obviously Poor pollypoo. Think bambi - splayed across the bonnet (hood) of her car...

HawaiianCuntShine · 24/10/2009 08:34

Ohhh so it's like the "wild boar"?

HawaiianCuntShine · 24/10/2009 08:36

I heart you ski!

CurlyCasper · 24/10/2009 08:38

Nah, boar just big piggies (used to get them in our tents in France). Bambi's dad much more destructive (and better tasting)

OP posts:
HawaiianCuntShine · 24/10/2009 08:45

You prefer Bambi's dad on a plate to Babe on a plate???

I once had the Bambi's daddy's tongue for Easter with the tastebuds still on, it was like he was licking my mouth... lovely [ewww emoticon]
