Welcome along women of a certain age. The new palace has a post modern water feature, spouting forth gin from a serious of suspicious looking humps...

iggypiggy · 05/11/2009 10:39

Frej that shiz'll turn you proper menkul you know...

givecarrotsachance · 05/11/2009 10:44

ski ing at you.

I nearly bought a mooncup but then thought it was pointless as I was clearly going to immediately not have droids as I would be diffed. Not sure if that was a good choice.

weesalong oooh sounds exciting! Our road trip across Kenya was great, and we only broke down when there were plenty of people around (in roadworks on the actually tarmaced Nairobi-Coast road) when the exhaust fell off. Still, it was only a Freelander and I think all the bumping through the parks with not enough groud clearance didn't do it any good. Glad it wasn't actually in the park as there are lions and no help .

What are you driving in? If it's anything less than a Defender or Land Cruiser think again...

Am I hijacking this thread? Sorry. Just get very excited about Afrika.

Everyone - I'm having a really shit day ATM so will actually do some work.

CUNextTuesday · 05/11/2009 10:48

gin and Weewee

CUNextTuesday · 05/11/2009 10:51

Last time I was pregnant I played with the NHS Choices Pregnancy Desktop which starts up automatically when you start up your computer, showing you a pic of what your icklebaybee looks like according to your due date. Obv after mcing like a bitch I shut it down permanently.

Imagine my delight when I opened it back up the other day to find it had stored the information and as soon as it opened up I saw what my ickleangelbaybee would have looked like had it stuck around . Fully formed it was.

P.S Have you seen Google today? Love it

OP posts:
skihorse · 05/11/2009 10:57

cunty whattoexpect kept sending me daily emails telling me about my progress. I had to log back on to the site and click the "please don't send me daily updates because I'm a womanfail" button.

I loved my mooncup until I turned 34 and my bits expanded to "post-partum" size and it leaked everywhere. I've not re-invested due to imminent pregnancy.

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 12:11

cosmo sends hugs to weewee and gin as well. She's still menkuling alone at work, so I haz been sending silly messages

OP posts:
idealcamel · 05/11/2009 12:23

Bear breasted? Really? With, like, live bears?

Ski & Cunty - Fuck the stupid computers. How very depressing.

idealcamel · 05/11/2009 12:28

Is it not about time that our lovely cosmo manned up and POAS?

skihorse · 05/11/2009 12:31

I've just sent Cosmosis a message from our BESH consortium: POAS! (x 1000)

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 12:37

oops. Meant bare. But bears might be funnier...

OP posts:
idealcamel · 05/11/2009 12:43

Sorry, couldn't resist the piss-take.

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 13:09

Thought it was fair enough humps. Would have extracted the Michael myself

Anyone got any tips to prevent hunger when you go from eating copious amounts complete crap to a nice healthy balanced diet?

OP posts:
Ponymum · 05/11/2009 13:13

caspar I just saw Google. They obviously read my thread in AIBU and decided that Cookie Monster is topical!

weewee How very crap. I was pretty certain you were diffed. As I was wrong with both scropy and you, I will avoid making any future predictions as this is obv some kind of curse to ensure babyfail.

P.S. I am compiling a list of foods very bad to vomit, i.e. taste particularly bad in reverse. Top of the list is pesto. Oh. My. God. No.

CUNextTuesday · 05/11/2009 13:21

Are you at it all day every day pone? That is so grim

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 13:22

pony I did see it and think of you. Although last night I think I attributed the AIBU thread to poo. Sorry!

So, morning sickness would be a better plan than this diet malarky....?(never liked pesto anyway)

Here, I'll hold your hair while you get a drink down your neck. then i'll hold your mouth and nose shut so it stays down get it all out and feel better

OP posts:
skihorse · 05/11/2009 13:28

Curly packets of sliced meat - like that red oozy bloody beef. Pure protein will fill you up like nobody's business.

Ponymum I see your pesto and raise you tuna.

Which AIBU is Polly's?

Ponymum · 05/11/2009 13:38

cunty Yes, every day, at all sorts of times. Even wake up in the middle of the night to puke. I have been checking myself for hyperemesis symptoms but I think I'm OK as I can generally keep down fluids and usually at least some random food stays down each day. (Though I did have two days in a row when I couldn't even keep down sips of water.) Now just keeping my mouth shut and trying no to think about the constant urge to vomit. How are you?

ski Tuna? Ewww.

idealcamel · 05/11/2009 13:41

Ski, is the tuna vom a recent development?

I managed to give myself morning sickness this morning - having bought some spirulina on a health kick and not wanting to ruin my nice breakfast by mixing it into anything, I tried to drink it neat.

Ugh. Just ugh.

Casper, are you GIing? Have to say that cutting out all carbs is making me feel springy and happy at the moment. Have just had HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE steak and salad for lunch. Remembering that salad is nice when you put dressing on it has been a total revelation. YumYumYum.

skihorse · 05/11/2009 13:45

Camel oh no, just one of those things you pick up over the years. E.g., vodka/coke is fine, beer - fine, tuna - no, rice - sticks to the inside of your mouth , Ben & Jerry's - No, but unlikely to occur.

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 13:56

Yes, I'm doing the Tesco GI diet. Still allowed some carbs and actually full a bit fuller since lunch. Have just been on their message boards to suss out free foods and the like (and what i can eat at the restaurants i plan to frequent this weekend).Glad it's working for you camel, although I actually prefer my salad naked.

Ski the AIBU is here

I just had a little cry at my desk because of the lovely Mills & Boon I was reading.

I am quite clearly going mad. But there was an ectopic pregnancy and endometriosis and then a miracle baby and then weeping.

FFS. I need a new job.

idealcamel · 05/11/2009 14:05

Yeah, am not totally carb-free either. That way madness lies.
