Still around, but have kinda given up on TTC for now - not my decision but DP won't co-operate any more

Am hoping a break is all we need as the thought of the future without having a family is a very bleak and unhappy one. I'll be 40 in exactly three weeks - time is running out and how long do I keep trying ?

Jools (big hugs to you) Listen sweeti I am going to be 41 in March next year, it was hard going but I never gave in. It will happen to you. I can understand about it being a chore the bding as it was getting too much. Just regroup and start trying again it will happen for you, I am sure of it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jools - so sorry. Maybe if your partner won't go for it you need to think about whether he is right one for you? Yes time is running out but it hasn't run out yet and if family is the single most important thing for you then you have to go for it, alone if necessary (sperm banks etc). Otherwise what if you two split up after your menopause - you'd have neither. Sorry, that sounds awful,but I too think kids and having a family (biological or otherwise) is the most important thing and don't think you should give up on it. Huge hugs.
