Hi All,

Hope you like our new home!

OP posts:
daisydotandgertie · 02/08/2009 13:49

only - thanks for asking; yes I feel fine thanks. A bit frustrated and confused, I still have no AF and am now on day 57 with no AF, a bit of dark brown spotting and I feel as though I have a barrage balloon stuffed up my jumper.

I'm going to have to be quite pushy with the doc; I don't want to be fobbed off with more waiting. I've waited long enough.

The only thing that's worrying me is that it could be an ectopic pg and that's why the hpts are so hit and miss. One day there's a faint line, and then the next there's nothing.

Still. It's tomorrow afternoon so not long to wait now.

Hope everyone else is OK; Jools, really hope you're OK too.

C1NDY · 03/08/2009 10:05

Hi everyone, I did a ClearBlue pg test this morning and got a BFP... are these digital thingies ever wrong... I can't believe it as I only bded once this month!

OP posts:
daisydotandgertie · 03/08/2009 10:52

Wow! C1NDY - congratulations! I bet you are in a massive state of shock. What's your expected due date do you reckon?

C1NDY · 03/08/2009 11:20

Hi Daisy I have calculated, well the system in FF has come up with 14 April 2010! I can't believe it. I have been bitten before so am taking it very easy. Not going to read anything just going take every day as it comes and try to relax a little.

OP posts:
C1NDY · 03/08/2009 11:44

Daisy have you heard any news... you must be pg

OP posts:
daisydotandgertie · 03/08/2009 11:53

C1NDY - Nothing has changed with me at all but I am going to the doc this afternoon, armed with my printed out chart from FF.

I got another very, very faint BFP this morning, but the test from Sunday was a BFN. I still have very occasional brown spotting and my temps are still high.

I really hope I'm up the pole - it'll be a 10 March baby if it is. I've been bitten before too; so am sort of expecting things to go wrong, if that makes any sense!

I'll update this afternoon.

C1NDY · 03/08/2009 12:26

Daisy I have everything crossed for you. It is a little strange but at least the doctor can sort it out for you. Let me know as soon as you can.

C1ndy Just seen your news - YAY!!!!!!

So happy for you honey. Come join us in the "4 weeks and bricking it" lounge when you feel ready! Having said that I should really be giving up my membership of the said lounge as I am now 14 weeks! Had a scan at 12+2 and was measuring 13 weeks so all good there and had downs testing back with a 1 in 1200 risk so that's good enough for me.

The downside is I am still feeling a bit sick but will put up with that quite happily!

Glad to see there are lots of new members here. Baby dust to all!

daisydotandgertie · 03/08/2009 16:56

Well, as expected, not much news really. The doc was sympathetic and helpful. She even listened to what I said.

She did agree that we need to get to the bottom of what's going on, so that I know one way or another. She asked if I'd noticed any menopausal signs, whether I'd had any pain and about bleeding. She also warned about getting obsessed about conceiving and the decreasing chances of success that obsession brings.

But, on balance it was positive and she didn't make me feel like a neurotic fool.

I'm back to the doc tomorrow morning for a blood test to check my HCG level. I asked her if that would provide a definitive answer and she didn't really say yes or no. She did say that when I go back in a week, if there's no joy from the blood test it'd be time for an examination.

Next week! I can't wait that long. It's driving me up the wall.

daisydotandgertie · 03/08/2009 17:02

C1NDY - I am so excited for you! Did you nearly fall off the loo? You've tested early too haven't you?

Vikks · 03/08/2009 17:24

C1NDY- Wow that?s brilliant! Congratulations! Spread that baby dust around?

Daisydotandgertie- Good luck at the Doc?s, a week must feel like a long time but at leased you?ll know for sure.

Joolsiam · 03/08/2009 20:03

Hi ladies. I've been taking a break from MN after a complete meltdown when AF arrived 2 weeks ago. Coming out the other side now, but am being cautious about being too obsessed.

I couldn't come in and lurk though without wishing Yellowflowers lots of luck - sounds like it is all coming together for you

And Cindy - well I am delighted for you and hoping and praying that all goes well.

Think I am due to ovulate overnight. Have been away for the weekend and am hoping that absence has made my DP's heart grow fonder

right, back to lurking intermittently and cheering you all on

C1NDY · 04/08/2009 09:11

Wasbi oh, I can't believe that you are 12 weeks!! yah-who!! I will join you on the thread you have mentioned. But I am going to take a break from posting for a while until i have had my scan. I guess I am just a little tired and also because I think I am obsessed with this website and it will do me good just to relax etc... but after September if all goes well then I will pick up with everyone again.

Daisy Yes, I tested early... AF is due today but have had no sign of it!! yay!! I will read your posts every now and again and hope that everything is fine and that you get that BFP.

Thanks to you all.... Here is some babydust...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

REMEMBER it comes in three's so there are two more spots for this month.

jools so pleased to hear from you - glad you still lurking xx

I have no news... But am not hopeful at all for this month... so I bought a Clearblue Fertility monitor to try out next month... hmmm

iggypiggy · 04/08/2009 16:49

yellow also wanted to say - that your news is fab too - am stepping back a little from MN too, can totally understand it - just feeds the obession!

wasabi can't believe you 14 weeks already!

Everyone else - a big wave hello from me!

engelbart · 05/08/2009 17:39

Hello everyone, sorry I have been absent from this thread for a while. After enthusiastically posting a few times I had a bit of a meltdown and wasn't on here as much, got a bit tired of the whole ttc. However I am now 5 weeks after getting a BFP! Trying not to knicker check every few minutes and obsessing about m/c etc. Like many of us don't think I will be relaxed about the whole thing until I am holding a baby. Wishing the weeks away until my 12 week scan, though thinking of paying for a reassurance scan around 8 weeks.

Congratulations C1NDY!

Daisydot it all sounds very promising, could be another bfp!

Good luck to everyone else! think this is a lucky thread

Pinkyblue123 · 07/08/2009 12:49

Congratulations Cindy what fab news!

It all sounds good and positive for you too Yellow as your new doctor seems really on the ball.

Big hugs to you Jools ttc is so stressful at times and it is good to try and have a break from it all at times

Good luck with the fertility monitor Iggy

Lots of babydust to you all.

I am now 11 weeks and still sick as a dog all day, but i had a scan at 8 weeks and they said that everything was where it should be and the right size etc and it had a good strong heartbeat so I am just thinking of that to cheer me up when i am feeling so crappy.

C1NDY · 11/08/2009 08:34

DaisyDot Any news?

Thank you to everyone for their congratulations. I am lying low till I get my first scan which is currently being booked. Hope midwife rings today to confirm the date as I am getting twitchy!!

OP posts:
daisydotandgertie · 11/08/2009 15:02

I am still confused! I had a blood test last week which has come back negative, although I don't know yet whether that's a 0 reading, or a very low one.

I'm away to the doctors this afternoon to grill him on what could be happening. I still have no AF - nor any sign of her. I'm on CD 66 now - 41 days late!

Keep taking care of yourself C1NDY; I'll report back.

C1NDY · 12/08/2009 10:30

Daisy I can't believe you still do not have any news.... it is very strange. Do you have private healthcare, as sometime it may be better to go down that route if there is nothing positive coming from your doctor.

OP posts:
C1NDY · 12/08/2009 10:33

Wasabi Do you have a link for your bricking it lounge? as I can't seem to find it! What a great name eh? I am now on week 5 and apart from mild period pains and a tiny bit of tender breasts... tiny amounts of tiredness which by eight o'clock I am ready to go to bed... I wouldn't know I am pregnant. I keep thinking if this is going to be a MC again. Keep going to the toilet alot and every wipe feels like doomsday!! I must learn to relax.

BeckyMcG · 12/08/2009 18:22

Hey ladies, it's been a very long time since I logged on but I'm pleased to let you know that my little baby has arrived!! My daughter was born safe and sound on 8th July. I just can't believe she's here and all the m/c's, ttc and pregnancy is over. She's so lovely and we're so so happy. There are some pics of her on my blog if anyone wants to have a look - www.beckyanded.blogspot.com

I can see there's been lots of BFP's since I last logged on - hurray and congratulations. The latest one being Cindy - good luck honey - you deserve it! Relax and enjoy it - I am sure this one will turn out well for you - I can feel it!

Hope everyone else is well xx
