Congratulations C!NDY - it sounds as though everything is going really well. Keep on taking care of yourself though.
I've had a bit of an up and down time since I last posted. I had 2 very definite BFPs at the end of my last cycle - the second one was on the day that AF started, on day 28 as normal. Not a sign of another odd long cycle, thank goodness.
But, luckily, because of the odd cycle, my GP had referred me for both an ultrasound and to a gynae.
At the ultrasound scan 2 days before AF started, the sonographer discovered a really big mass in my uterus. She said it was so big she couldn't see past it. She tried both internal and external ultrasound with no luck. She said she though it was a big fibroid.
A few days after that, I went the the gynae who confirmed I have a very large mass which is the reason for the chemical pgs I've had this year - it's preventing anything implanting successfully and that according to my bloods, I have PCO too. She said I have a carbohydrate problem which creates excess insulin and that I need to have a 21 day blood test to check for ovulation.
She's also booked me in for a hysteroscopy on Tuesday evening so she can check out the mass and try and see past it to check out my ovaries. She's insisted on doing it under general because she said 'it'll be very painful, as the mass is so big'.
Does anyone have any advice?! I have a bit of the nerves.
