Hello all- can I join too please ? AF just turned up (early!) today- had been feeling vaguely positive that last month was the month but as it's not now turning attention to next month! DD was due in July, so it's a good month for a baby (though she arrived in June!)

hello well i was on the june thread, so now may i join you here??? this one is lucky i am sure of it.
i am TTC #2 my LO is almost 14 months! my usual cycle length is 28 days. GOOD LUCK LADIES!

JLo2 · 30/09/2008 08:29

I think this must be the month of odd periods
Mine was heavy for one day then very light but still vaguely here on Day 9! Definitely odd
Welcome over here wzmo. I wonder what the average age gap between DC's is on here. If I do manage to conceive another I think I might up the average as my youngest will be 6

funkybumps · 30/09/2008 09:37

Hi all,

Well this is absolutely crazy but my period has been weird this month aswell. Was extremely heavy on Sunday with ( TMI ALERT !! ) loads of dark blood clots and I was in agony which is really unusual for me. Then yesterday nothing and so far today nothing aswell!! Have never had a 1 day period before so any suggestions ??

JLo2, If we manage to conceive baby #2 our DD will be 6 next year aswell.

smallone · 30/09/2008 13:40

Hi everyone,
Had a smear test today, does anyone know if it affects ttc? Not ideal timing as today is CD10 for me but I thought I'd best have my MOT before getting pg again.

I've heard of pre-seed but don't know anyone who has tried it. I think its just a more technical version of grapefruit juice. Makes a more sperm friendly environment.

Anyway, got to try and get in the mood for some BDing later but not too hopeful. I'm still a bit uncomfortable and DH is complaining of a cold! Oh dear

My period was weird this month too! I had blood clots that I never get usually and was generally weird-my acupuncturist said it may be due to the cold i had last month.
DD will be 3 next july so hopefully a 3yr gap.......

Hi All
new to this, my stats are
TTC=1, usual cycle 28 on CD 2 on Clomid 50mg day 2-6(unexplianed infertility)

Has anyone heard of eating Pineapple after ovulation apparently helps with implantation?

On 3rd cycle of Clomid, but I hear it usualy takes a couple of cycles..

I will keep you posted...lots of baby dust to you all....

spats · 30/09/2008 15:03

Hi I am new to this also. Finding lots of helpful threads.

my stats are TTC#3 usual cycle 28 days cd16.

Just used ovulation kit today and was pos but BD on CD14 , now husband gone away so hoping it was enough for this month, what do you reackon?

smallone · 30/09/2008 15:27

Hi

Ellie - don't know about pineapple, the only uses I know of is eating fresh pineapple to stimulate labour and for men to eat it so they ..ahem ...taste better

Spats, you never know I managed to conceive DD while away with a bunch of women! Must have stored up some of the little men from about 5 days previous! Hope it sticks for you.

LittleCheese · 30/09/2008 17:58

Maybe AF knows we are all trying to anish her for 9 or so months so decided to give us all a horrid month

Wishing · 30/09/2008 20:35

Hi everyone - ive come over from the june thread - just hit me that if im lucky this month i would be due July!!

MerryMarigold · 30/09/2008 20:38

I wanted a July baby and ended up with October twins. You never know what you'll get !

xxhunnyxx · 30/09/2008 21:15

OK girls I'm really confused....I've been feeling sicky and dizzy since Sunday but I also feel like AF is gonna turn up any time soon.
Gonna do a test in the morning so everybody send their baby dust my way please .
I wont be getting my hopes up tho. I'm a bit blue that it looks like this isn't my month but also a bit excited for the month ahead cos I feel so much more in control and positive about things.

smallone · 30/09/2008 21:34

Good luck hunny! I hope its not AF playing tricks. I had the mother of all pmt symptoms when I was pg with DD. So much so that I didn't test til I was 7 days over coz I was so convinced that AF was going to start "any minute"

smallone · 30/09/2008 21:35

need to BD today and DH not well GRRRR

Wishing · 30/09/2008 22:21

oh small one - i feel for you - does he know you need to bd?? i wold skirt round the issue and just act spontaneous!

im sending you all the baby dust i can find xxhunn yxx - i was the same last week and convinced myself i was - unfortunatley it was just my body playing crul tricks on me and af made an appearence 6 days late, sorry if that outs a downer on it, its not meant to!! anyway i have everything crossed for you - well everything except my legs!!

xxxxxxxxxx

xxhunnyxx · 30/09/2008 22:40

Thanks smallone and wishing for your baby dust, yeah defo don't keep your legs crossed wishing ha ha ha.
smallone maybe u should try and get your hands on a nurse's outfit and 'nurse' DH back to health lol. It's soooo frustrating when things like that happen tho, similar happened to us on one of our days this month and I was like 'ARGGHHHHHH!!!!'.

xxhunnyxx · 01/10/2008 08:54

BFN

smallone · 01/10/2008 09:30

hunny

I managed to "convince" DH last night! Doesn't know I'm working on a schedule but I think he might suspect but isn't saying anything. His only condition was no kissing - fine by me!

Gonna have a day off today anyway -phew!

TeenyTinyTorya · 01/10/2008 14:13

I had to convince dh as well lol! Usually he's the one trying to persuade me.

smallone · 01/10/2008 16:22

I know! I can't believe he doesn't suspect something, I'm never this "up for it"!

xxhunnyxx · 01/10/2008 16:28

I know, I think men really must be stupid! Either that or they just don't question it since we're offering them sex on a plate (well not LITERALLY on a plate) lol.
