Brilliant news belgrano. congratulations!! happy cupboard sorting today! i am being far lazier and watching muppets from space with ds!! x

smallone · 09/11/2008 14:59

Oh wow, excellent news belgrano, making me really twitchy to test now tho, coz my AF could come tomorrow. But then again it might not come til fri in which case I'm 6 days early today (IYSWIM) so don't want to waste my one and only clearblue.

Went to hobbycraft today and felt really carsick on the way there and back, mouth keeps running aswell. No aching boobs, and no cramps today either. I can see its going to be a long week!

Issy42 · 09/11/2008 15:57

Congrats Belgrano.

shoptilidrop - I'm only 4 dpo and also trying hard not to symptom spot so completely understand. Congrats on the job offer.

Good luck everyone still waiting.

ellsbellzie · 09/11/2008 19:56

Congratulations!! Belgrano
Spats I know how you feel I too am not sure when AF is due as think I ovulated late this month, fingers crossed for all of us still waiting, patiently!
I'm totally doing my own head in symptom spotting, I keep checking to see if my boobs ache as they did alot in when pregnant in July! Though not sure if id get symptoms this early any way! Its so different for me this time, as with DS I didn't realise I was expecting until I was nearly 5 months, I know its mad how could I not know but I really didn't what with having AFs, well what I thought were AFs, god id be so worried if that was to happen this time!

smallone · 10/11/2008 09:15

Morning everyone! Well I couldn't resist the temptation to test this am. Worked out if AF due on fri I would be 4 days early today. So I used my last clearblue and .....BFN of course. Now I have period pain so don't know whether to bother getting more tests yet (coz I'll be tempted to use them if I have them)or wait till I'm due next month. Grr.

smallone · 10/11/2008 09:24

smallone, sorry it was a bfn, but you are not out of the running yet. I think those early tests are a bit of a waste of money. Try to wait until you are late ( which is almost impossible i know!!) hoping the next 4 days go quickly for you.

Issy, fingers crossed for you too...

well this is all going to be a bit tmi, so appolgies in advance. I had loads and loads of ewcm last tuesday ( was a shock to see it as ive not had any/only 2 afs in the last year and i was on cd14) anyway there was LOADS, so we bd tue eve and wed eve. It had all gone by wed am. I was dry until sat, and have been 'wet' but not ewcm since then, so we have been bding some more just in case. Do you think i havent actually oved???? should i keep bding? whats going on?
any advice would be great, thanks

girlwithacurl · 10/11/2008 10:14

poas this morning... BFN. still no sign of AF, but sore breasts and rubbish skin... signs she is about to visit! grrr

shoptilidrop · 10/11/2008 10:19

sorry for you, they could also be pg signs to. I hope af stays away for you

girlwithacurl · 10/11/2008 10:51

trouble is it is hard for me to work out my dates after MC in september... only one AF since then so might need to get scientific. Anyone got any reccomendations?

mickeylou · 10/11/2008 11:28

hi everyone. i am sorry girlwithacurl i dont have any expertise with this ttc. was so much easier with ds when wasnt trying!!

i am pretty sure i will be trying for an august baby as just not babydanced enough this past week!! i know it only takes the once but i am not confident. pretty sure i ovulated on day 13/14 and did bd on days 9,10 and 13 but not since. was knackered the rest of week because ds been getting up with the larks and work been crazy busy!

thought we would make up for it at the weekend but then didnt because we fell out over something stupid!! ds went to bed last night saying "no squabbling you two!!" out of the mouths of babes eh?

we have now kissed and made up but too late i fear to have any baby making effect!! . May try tonight as a last ditch effort!

what do you think?

smallone · 10/11/2008 13:06

Sorry, don't understand the technicalities of CM so can't shed any light there.

I think you should be ok mickeylou I think its best to get the BDing done before ov, so there's plenty of the little men there when the egg comes out. Even if you ov'd on CD14, sperm should live 24 hours. Hope that gives you some hope.

Rang my GP surgery this morning to see if any of my test results were back and she said "Yes they're back", then said "ooh hang on, did you get a letter about a retest?" I said yes and that I'd sent that in last wednesday, were any of the others back? (which they've had over 2 weeks) and she said "No none of them are back".

Now call me paranoid but this spells bad news to me. I was doing 3 of the same test, to get an average. Then they told me to retest, coz one of the samples wasn't labelled, (when I know it was) and now they claim, none of the results are back. I suspect that the results were borderline and that's why they've got me to re-test, and why they're not giving me the original results. Agh! I just want to have an answer to something.

ForcesSweetheart · 10/11/2008 13:49

Strike me off the list folks. AF's been and gone but not been online til now. Will go join August thread. Good luck to those still hoping.
Lis x

spats · 10/11/2008 18:19

mickylou i think you will be ok. I have heared some people just bd before ovulationb in the hope of conceiving a girl!! I would rather do it before and up to and after and just get pg,let alone try for a gender!! THink you were spot on with the BD. All the little soldiers are there waiting for the attack - good luck. I am due anytime now, think i may have had a small brown discharge today when wiped so think AF may come tommorrow which is really annouying (she says polietly not able to say what she is really thinking!!). Guess i will see some old names on the Aug thread and can do some catching up. Good luck and baby dust to all in these trying times! xx

mickeylou · 10/11/2008 20:10

hi spats, will be thinking of you tomorrow. hope af stays away for you.

smallone, sounds to me like someone's made a cock up and they are just busying themselves in the background trying to sort it out!! happens all the time to me at work!! .try not to worry. xx

LollysMum1 · 11/11/2008 07:36

I'm still lurking and still none the wiser. Beginning to think that I didn't even ovulate last month. Might ring the doc in a couple of days but don't want him to think "oh its her again" as I seemed to speak to him every other day a few weeks ago (re debate about chemical pregnancy/heavy period/staff at hospital being bloody rude to me!).... I might test today but don't feel particularly pregnant now and losing enthusiasm

spats · 11/11/2008 08:20

oh lolly think you are me are going to be 2 miserable girls tody!! I have just watched the news so i can put this in perspective and there are some sad stories about people dying out there so i am thinking at least my family and I are OK. Sort of helps - well a little, tiny bit x

lillypie · 11/11/2008 08:53

I'm out ladies AF arrived without warning this morning

Best of luck to everyone still in with a chance,I'm off to add myself to the August thread.

spats · 11/11/2008 09:25

lillypie i am joining you. AF is definately here hoping over to aug thread. good luck to everyone, why do we do this to oiurselves?? x

smallone · 11/11/2008 15:16

Sorry to lose you, forces, spats and lillypie, good luck next month.

Thanks mickeylou! I'm hoping its a cock up too!

Lollysmum, sounds like your homones might be in a bit of a muddle - lets hope its a baby type muddle!

Are the CD's out a bit? I think I should be on CD 38 - don't want to change it in case I'm wrong! Thought AF had arrived this morning but it has come to nothing and is just (sorry TMI) like slightly darker coloured CM not even spotting. So really don't know what is happening! Anyone had anything like that? I'm guessing its not a good sign though???

ellsbellzie · 11/11/2008 18:15

So sorry Lillypie, Spats and Forces, bet ill see you over on the August thread very soon, Good Luck! LollyMum - Hope it works out for you, it may be implantation bleeding as this can happen at the time Af is due, if you google 'implantation bleeding' you will find some useful info.

I couldn't help myself and did a test this morning and guess what BFN, but haven't loss all hope yet, as if ive got a 4 week cycle this month then i'm due fri, but last month it was nearly 5 weeks so may be too early, fingers crossed! Dont know if im just trying to symptom spot but ive got really bad heart burn which I never get, though I did get it when pregnant with my son but it was in the later stages, does anyone know if its a symptom in early stages? Or am I just trying to create symptoms!!!!!

smallone · 12/11/2008 09:01

Morning everyone, rang the gps this morning and my tests are back and they are NORMAL hurrah! Massive weight off my shoulders!

Spent all last evening with a metallic yucky taste in my mouth and frequent dashing to the loo in case of vomming (sorry tmi)Not sure if this was worry, my cold or pg symptom! Still no af although have been having cramping on an off since sat/sun.

Lollysmum, think it was just you that was out, so have updated, can everyone else check and make sure they are right too.

Have stopped updating the top half of the list, I think we can now class them as "very overdue"!
