Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 07:02

Sorry Cal, but had to have a giggle at addictable LOL

REMINDER: NEVER START A THREAD WHILST PISSED OK?

It is not a good look for a TTC thread is it?!! LOL Thanks for new thread though

So who is testing today? Good luck to you all

Mags, that sounds quite positive then, if they have managed to treat it, isn't it amazing what they can do nowadays? And whilst I am sure waiting a month wasn't on your agenda, it has to be worth it doesn't it? - How exciting for you

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 07:04

Far too many smilies in there, how can people be so happy when it is 7am, and they've been up since 5? It's quite sickening isn't it?

Ses15 · 09/07/2008 08:13

Morning all! My home internet access is being temperamental at the moment

Sorry for misunderstanding - new job starts next Monday. Spending this week doing handover to my successor which feels great!

Cal - I LOVE addictable

Good luck to anyone testing today!!

Cosmogirl · 09/07/2008 08:17

Morning all,

Sorry for BFN Gruffalo - but might still be too early. Fingers crossed for you still. I am on 3 dpo and already wanting the 2ww to be over! Not very patient over here! Not sure whether to test 10 dpo, or wait until 14....You just don't know if you'll be one of those to get an early result or not if +ve...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 08:30

10DPO, as long as you can face a BFN, and if you can afford it.

9DPO, if you're very brave!!

GYo · 09/07/2008 08:52

Good morning all

Another horrible wet day in london. Makes me so bad tempered. Walking on street is hard enough without all the umbrellas. And some weirdo man (he was actually quite attractive but was talking rubbish) about me walking into a large puddle when i didnt.

And relax!

How is everyone else?

Cosmogirl · 09/07/2008 08:59

9po - wow....don't tempt me NJ.... I have one test in the house. It is a sainsburys own-brand 4 days pre-AF. Wasn't that expensive so wouldn't mind using it early and wasting it.

Hi GYo - this weather is truly rubbish for July, isn't it? Envious that you are in London. I heart London

GYo · 09/07/2008 09:03

Hi Cosmo- The weather is unbelievable! you are right, london is great, and I do love it - especially getting to work here.

Just some of the pushy t*ssers that walk out of Bank tube and ride my tubeline do my head in!

LOL re early planning to early test. This 2WW business is a weird time.

Where abouts are you Cosmo?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 09:05

Can I just say, if I hadn't have tempted Star yesterday she'd have still been waiting! LOL

(We won't mention all the times I've tempted people only to end in a BFN.... shushhhhh)

Weather not too bad here yet, it is nice and fresh, warm enough to go with out a coat, but not hot by any means. Though judging the grey/black clouds over the hill, it's not going to stay dry for long.

GYo · 09/07/2008 09:11

Hi Nat

re testing, I might actually need some encouragement. Im now 13dpo allegedly testing tomorrow- but rather afraid of a BFN! I've got pcos - so my random cycles meant I've tested lots of time to "rule it out" when AF hasnt arrived...

Am so used to seeing a BFN that I am just assuming thats what I will get!

PS cycles are much better now, thanks to metformin, so I know AF is due in next couple of days....

Playingthe9monthwait · 09/07/2008 09:12

Morning all, PMSL at last nights posts as Cosmo said there wasa lot of love in the wagon last night! Oh and wine . I'm still craving wine sometimes, had a lovely salad nicoise last night and a glass or 3 would have gone down just right with it. Not even been a week since my last glass yet!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 09:20

GYo, I have 3 little words.... test test test

calsworld · 09/07/2008 09:21

morning.

Anyone got any paracetamol? Can we whisper in the wagon today?

LOL at last nights posts, not sure what came over me there actually, its been ages since I got tiddly, I guess it was time to rebel as am fed up of being a goody two shoes all the time...guess there's an element of tempting fate too.

Anyway, next time I'll do it when I'm not in the 2ww

Was fun though

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 09:23

PARDON CAL, CAN'T HEAR YOU

Anyone fancy a fry up? All those greasy eggs and bacon - yum

GYo · 09/07/2008 09:24

LOL thanks Nat definately helping...

I will fax over some paracetamol Cals....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 09:27

Seriously, don't go for a wee from now till lunch, nip out and get a test, and do it Go on, go on, you know you wanna

kookykid · 09/07/2008 09:27

Morning!

BFN here but not unexpected - weirdly AF symptoms not so bad this monring.
Good luck to all teh other testers!

Off to playgroup (my DD has a new admirer - an older boy whose mother called this morning to make sure we were going as her DS had asked her if DD was going to be there!).

Oh, Cal, sorry about the headache! Last night was FUN though! Glad I went to bed when I did - as predicted DDD was awake between 3am and 4am.

Mags, sounds like you had a productive time yesterday. Fingers crossed for you.

calsworld · 09/07/2008 09:36

Hi KK! Sorry for BFN but could still be too early!

DS admires one of the little girls at nursery, she is very lovely. Her peg is next to DS' and he always tries to take her cardigan home with her.

NJ - My tummy is well rough this morning, I feel quite nauseous and loo trips are, um, oh I don't need to say anymore do I?

So, I had a sausage sandwich for brekkie as thought that might help - we have a canteen that does breakfast service. So now I don't feel sick, I just have the other end to worry about. I'm supposed to have a meeting this afternoon but am thinking I'd far rather be at home in bed.....

(GYo, go on, you know you want to!)

OP posts:
GYo · 09/07/2008 09:40

Thanks Nat- feeling encouraged now.

Tempted to do it at lunch but I have a hard enough time concentrating at work as it is! Also I have 4 FRs hiding in my wardrobe at home

KK sorry about your BFN- roll on the next month of TTC then?

Starshinetiger · 09/07/2008 09:49

Morning, all. NJ is right - if she hadn't of tempted me with the waiting for 4 hours during the day, I wouldn't have tested. But, I should also mention that I'm fairly confident that I ov on day 12 of cycle, which makes yesterday 11dpo (I have a 26 day cycle, which I think consists of ov on CD12 and then a 14 day luteal phase - but I might be talking rubbish). Am going to test again on the weekend when AF is actually due, just to reassure myself, as I feel a bit of a fraud at the mo. Then I can tell my Mum next week as it's going to be really hard not telling her while she's staying with us for 3 days - also, SIL has decided to visit with the children on the weekend - why do family decide to visit right when you're trying not to tell them things?!
Gruffalo - sorry for BFN, but it's not over yet, lots of people don't test positive until after AF due. with DS, I didn't even test until 1 week after AF due, so this is all new ground to me.
Right, really busy at work today so best get on. Also been told first thing - you know the new job I've been told I've got? Luckily am wearing a suit today as I have to meet the Director for my new customer group this afternoon to convince him I'm best for the job - talk about doing it all backwards! Ah well, am more resigned to it now I hopefully will be off on mat leave in 8 months time and it is closer to home and I'm sure will give me more experience. Fingers crossed the interviewmeeting goes well!

Playingthe9monthwait · 09/07/2008 10:30

Star - good luck with your meeting. I know what you mean about feelign like a fraud. I did 2 tests on the day I tested (2 different brands) just to make sure that there wasn't a dogy batch . I have now done a total of 4 tests, which isn't too bad. Haven't tested since Sunday but I think I will probably test again in a week or so. Its so hard not too!

KK - sorry about the BFN, still its not over yet.

Come on the ladies, we need more BFP's!

On a more random note. What the hell has happened to the weather! Its supposed to be summer!!!

Diege · 09/07/2008 10:35

Morning
Sorry for the (no doubt too early) BFNs - don't lose hope yet, tis early days. Am determined to finish off my marking today, and am planning all the wonderful things I will do with my free time!
Oh and while I remember LB, the problem with telling my mum is to do with her not being the most positive person in the world when I have announched my pregnancies shall we say Along the lines of tutting and shaking head, 'oh no' etc etc... Find it quite distrubing really, as it's not as it has any negative implications for her etc in terms of childcare etc, but still, am just resigned now to not getting a great response...
Will try and pop in again later, diege xxx

calsworld · 09/07/2008 10:53

Morning Diege, good luck with the marking today, I hope you can get it finished today.

Am now at home in bed . I don't normally get an upset tummy after drinking but I feel really poorly today . Is this punishment?

Felt much better after my sausage sandwich this morning but now feel really dodgy again....

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/07/2008 10:54

Punishment, or pregnancy?

calsworld · 09/07/2008 10:55
