Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

OOh KK, chicken ham and mushroom pie sounds nice, in fact, tis one of my faves! Can you send me the recipe?

I didn't get BFP with DS till three days past AF due date last time KK, and NJ has had to wait till 9 days past for one of hers (sorry NJ, can't remember if that was DS1 or 2!) but definitly 9 days!

Thanks for your kind words, Cal, but you know when you just have a feeling??! I am resigned to it and will try again next month. Isn't it frustrating though, when you know your body should know what it's doing having produced 1 DC already!? How long did it take you to get pg with your (V Gorgeous!) DS?

You're welcome to the recipe if you want it - although I did kind of make it up as I went along!

I don't know...I threaten a quick nosey (and see it rhough, its in all the parenting threads, if you make a trhred, you msut see ti through!) and you all come bakk!!

KK, I still have my fingers crossed for you!

Glaskham - that's funny, I did that every time the HV came to see me and DS totally paranoid that they'd think that I wasn't capable of looking after a baby (but was on AD's on the time so probably understandable!)

KK, ummmmm, not very long to DH's disgust. Approx 2 shags? Planned to start TTC and went for one last diving holiday in Gran Canaria, last dive over, got down to it....9 months later! DS!

Probably explains why I'm a little despondent at not having conceived after 5 cycles...fast approaching 6 . Clearly much disallusioned in the early days and I've learnt soooo much from being in, on and around the wagon.

We were not quite so quick to conceive DD, but we weren't praticularly TRYING iykwim. This time around it's defferent as I feel like we're really making an effort!! Silly! Being on here with others, though, does help!

KK, have found having you in (cycle) tune is really helping me...and this from someone who's seen everyone on the thread from when she started get their BFP's.

I'm not sad - that sounded like a sympathy plea and it certainly wasn't, but all through those six months, I never had anyone at exactly the same stage as I am and it is really reassuring. I feel I can reach out to you - wish we were sat round a kitchen table drinking our glasses of wine

Maybe I've had too many...

Aw, Cals, that's lovely! I've felt really connected to you too and it's been great knowing we were at exactly the same stage - think we even OVd together! Let's hope we get our BFPs soon. Certainly think it's YOUR turn!
Well we can imagine a virtual kitchen table (but RL wine obviously!)
