Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

Sorry to have to post bad news on this lovely thread but back from scan and it's bad news I'm afraid . I've had a missed miscarriage, no heartbeat and baby stopped growing at 7 weeks one day. I'm booked in for a d&c tomorrow as I couldn't bear to let things happen naturally. Dh was with me with was good, and we also got a second opinion (on their suggestion).
I've had such brilliant support and friendship on this thread, and while I'll carry on lurking I'm sure, I don't really feel up to posting regularly for a while.
I'll be crossing everything for good news for folks testing over the next few days. If you wouldn't mind, would someone take my name/due date of the duffed list? Thanks for everything guys, and I'll be back on the ttc list as soon as I can be .

Diege - I'm so sorry to hear that . Sadly, I have been there and can remember the feeling only too well. Take plenty of time to recover, physically and emotionally, and look after yourself and your family.

I know you mightn't feel up to posting, but I hope that we can continue to offer you some support over the next wee while.

Playingthe9monthwait · 16/07/2008 14:15

Oh Tink, I dodn't mean to ignore your post. Are those results good? They sound good to me?

tinkhasagorgeousbean · 16/07/2008 14:20

thats ok playing dieges situation is more important.
yes results very low.

i dont know if they tested me for anything else i.e hiv perhaps they would only tell you if bad

calsworld · 16/07/2008 14:33

Tink, congrats on good test results, you must be relieved after having to wait for so long for them to come back

OP posts:
Playingthe9monthwait · 16/07/2008 14:39

Thats great news Tink!

calsworld · 16/07/2008 14:41

Oh and yes, I think they only tell you if there's something abnormal i.e. you have hiv! They don't seem too worried about confirming back to us that all is well!

OP posts:
2beautifulgirls · 16/07/2008 15:33

Great news tink a weight off your mind. Think they test everyone for HIV when pregnant, i can't ever recall getting the results. i'm sure they would have told you by now if there was a problem with them.

babytime · 16/07/2008 15:58

Diege - I so so sorry that this has happened. You know we are all here and ready to talk with you no matter how long you need.

Big hugs to you and your family, its nice that you have all got each other for support x

babytime · 16/07/2008 15:58

Tink - great news on your test results. With the HIV - no news is good news. So you can relax

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/07/2008 16:27

Yes, sorry Tink good news for your results

Diege if you are lurking today, just wanted to add that I hope tomorrow goes as well as can be expected, and that you can try and get some rest tonight in preparation for it.
