Hi everyone, I was hoping to start a nice friendly supportive and sensitive thread. Maybe for those ttc for a while or after losses or just finding things difficult with ttc in general. I love to read others have had bfp's as it gives me hope, but have been finding some threads with alot of positive test pictures posted quite difficult.
Hoping to find others looking for the same as it's lovely to have a place to rant, feel sad, feel happy, get advice, or just obsess without judgement 🙂

I am 36, started ttc 2 years ago, had 2 mmc, and have now been ttc for 14 months since the last one without success. Currently on cd14 on a "not tracking"cycle. x

@CabbageFan well there’s definitely something there🤞🏻 hopefully when you get back on Monday you’ll have a lovely dark line!!

@BGxxx it’s come back a bit but is very light compared to usual. Just hope the next period is more normal.
Have you thought any more today about whether to go for the testing?

@CabbageFan i can see something, but I’ve never used clear blue so not sure about the evap thing. I’ve everything crossed for when you next test

@Figtree11 I really can’t decide what to do🤣 we’re away on a couple of holidays in June and July so I might worry about it when we get back! I think I’ll have to miss ttc in June, if I did get pregnant I’d be 5 weeks when we went and I’d be too worried if it was another ectopic

I'm fucking devastated. I started my periods. Only 12dpo this time. And to make it worse I don't even have pads with me, because I wasn't expecting them this soon, especially after the promising result yesterday. Happy mother's day to me 🥲

@CabbageFan oh I am so sorry 😔 It’s so devastating when it arrives, especially when you had such a good feeling about it. TTC is cruel. Sending you love xxx

@BGxxx yeah I think enjoying your holidays first sounds a good idea. It’s such a shame that the experience you have been through means you have to pause for June. Hopefully July is then your lucky month though!

@Figtree11 me too, I’m hoping it caused by a hormonal imbalance from breastfeeding and my other tube is fine! I keep thinking about the testing, I don’t know whether to just go straight for the fertility clinic in case anything does show up in the scan, because then I’d be paying for the same thing twice 🤣

I have recovered! Kind of. I guess. I was so upset after the weekend that I was literally about to post our pram on FB marketplace, but DH stopped me 🤣 Am I the drama? I think I am the drama 💅
I want to call the doctor, but she told me to "call back in the summer". What does summer mean in this context? It's an abstract concept, right? 😂 And besides, it's already mid may and if I get an appointment two weeks from now, it's going to be june. June most certainly is summer?
I just think this most turn in my cycles isn't good at all. Since july they have been 35, 34, 37, 28, 48, 30, 36 and now only 25 and 19 days. No way that's just normal variation at this point anymore.

I thought I would update, I got positive this morning at 8dpo. The lines on the easy@home and first response are faint but I got a 1-2 weeks digital on clearblue. I had a feeling I was pregnant but thought I was delusional

@CabbageFan @Vanilla90 thank you both! I just get a scan at epu ar 7 weeks I think, I haven’t called them yet. So I’ll be booking a private scan at 5.5 weeks xx

Hi all. Thought I'd introduce myself! I'm almost 29 (birthday end of the month), been TTC #3 since December. We started off not trying but not preventing (so not on any contraception but not tracking my cycle or anything), but started tracking my cycle in March. I actually did get pregnant in April but it sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy. That was my second loss: I also had a MMC back in 2018, before first DC.

Currently 9DPO and had a BFN this morning. I know it's still early but I've had positives at 9DPO before so feeling a little deflated. AF is due on the 23rd so I'm going to wait until then to test again I think, if she hasn't shown up by then.

Also, I know 5 months is well within the range of normal for length of time TTC, but with my first 3 pregnancies I fell pregnant very quickly (either first or second month trying). So the fact it's taking a fair bit longer this time is also a little deflating.

@DownWithCremeEggs Its tough when you’ve concieved quickly in the past and you half have that expectation again

How are you all doing?
I'm feeling super frustrated. Cd17, no signs of ovulation coming so far. OPK is very faint i the mornings and when I try again in the afternoon, it's usually almost completely clear. My bbt has dropped really low to 36,1°C today. Not sure if it's a sign of ovulation nearing or that I might start bleeding soon. I went to a reflexologist yesterday and it was super relaxing. She said there was so much tension in my neck and shoulder area as well as the points for my womb and hormones. We'll see if the treatment helped at all I guess.
Oh and I have a doctor's appointment for june 4th! Feeling both excited and nervous about that.

Cd25, no ovulation so far and I've been spotting for a week. Just waiting for periods so that I could start fresh again ):
I had the doctor'a appointment today. She didn't even have a look. Ordered some bloodwork to test LH, FSH and testosterone when I start a new cycle. Prescribed me a double dose of dydrogesterone to take for six months. Unless something comes up earlier in the bloodwork or otherwise, we'll see again in six months. But, if my problem is that I'm not ovulating, dydrogesterone won't help. It can only help regulate the overall cycle length, apparently.
She also said OPK and BBT are useless. If I have a regular cycle, I'm ovulating and if I'm ovulating I'll eventually get pregnant. But how am I going to know that ovulation is potentially happening, if I'm not supposed to track it? 🫠 Honestly I'm starting to consider going private or even an alternative route if this doesn't work out.
If I have to say one good thing about today, it is that I got antibiotic cream for acne, finally.

I really don’t get why they would suggest to not lh or bbt. You basically have to make sure you’re having sex everyday or every other day at least permanently🤣

Right? I'd understand saying something like "hey these testing methods aren't foolproof so don't stress about it" or "save your money and give the medication a few months to work before testing again", but stating that they're full on unnecessary is so odd.
I think my husband is super hot, but no amount of sexy man butt and buff arms is going to make me baby dance every other day until the unforeseeable future 🤣

@CabbageFan I’ve had 1 scan last week at 5 weeks 1 day, saw a sac and yolk in the right place thankfully! I’ve got another scan Saturday to hopefully see the heartbeat
