Hi everyone, I was hoping to start a nice friendly supportive and sensitive thread. Maybe for those ttc for a while or after losses or just finding things difficult with ttc in general. I love to read others have had bfp's as it gives me hope, but have been finding some threads with alot of positive test pictures posted quite difficult.
Hoping to find others looking for the same as it's lovely to have a place to rant, feel sad, feel happy, get advice, or just obsess without judgement 🙂

I am 36, started ttc 2 years ago, had 2 mmc, and have now been ttc for 14 months since the last one without success. Currently on cd14 on a "not tracking"cycle. x

@BGxxx i did a test this morning & it’s negative on the one the hospital gave me, and a hint of a line on the more sensitive ones I’ve got. So I think I can class that as negative & not to worry about anything retained still.
I really am hoping it means my results are back! I was fully expecting it to be end June.

@FlyHighSky72 welcome, fingers crossed you’ll find your regular pattern soon enough using the opks

@Figtree11 that’s good news, I’d definitely just count that as negative, your hcg must be so low if there’s anything left

@FlyHighSky72 it could just be a random month of ovulating a bit later! My friend has a 10 day luteal phase and hasn’t had trouble concieving so even if yours is short it might not be a problem!

I got my peak ovulation test yesterday so just waiting for bbt to confirm in the day few days, I’m just not very optimistic it’s going to happen 🤣

Thanks @BGxxxso easy to stress isn’t it!! I have no idea what my normal cycle is (as in I know it’s regular 28-29 days) but no clue about when I usually ovulate/the luteal phase length etc!)

Does anyone take baby aspirin? From when did you take it?

@BGxxx yeah I feel much better now knowing the hcg must nearly be gone. Now to see what the results say before we start TTC again.
Did you email the place you were looking at?

@FlyHighSky72 I know there is a lot out there about baby aspirin, but the miscarriage clinic I am under doesn’t advise it unless you’ve been diagnosed with a medical condition, as there is evidence it can affect implantation

@BGxxx i missed that you got peak ovulation. I’ve my fingers crossed for you this month. It’s so easy to feel negative about it, but hopefully it won’t be long now.
I am well & truly sick of it now being nearly 2 years since I started TTC!

So I’m 2 dpo and so bloated and gassy - feel like the top of my tummy is full of gas which is odd! Obv not a pregnancy symptom as waaaay too early but I now can’t remember what I’m normally like at this time of the month 🤪! Going to log it all in Premom so I can remember next month

@Figtree11 I’ve emailed the fertility clinic! They’re giving me a call back in the morning

@BGxxx thank you, you deserve good news too. I think I’m going to call the EPU tomorrow as I’ve started having stomach ache & brown discharge and still a slight line on some tests. Worried it’s retained products or infection.

@Figtree11 hopefully they’ll get you in for a scan to confirm! Hopefully it is just the start of your period! I’ll keep you updated, I should think everything will be so expensive, there’s no prices for specific tests on the website which doesn’t seem good 🤣

@BGxxx I’ve been hoping it might be my period, so will see if the line has gone completely tomorrow or not.
It’s so annoying there’s no prices 😂 When I looked last year it was the same. Just want an indication of how much to expect!

@BGxxxim planning to test at 10 dpo - not sure if all this is a symptom of anything or just that I’m eating very healthy/lots of fruit 😂😂

@Figtree11 the fertility clinic called me this morning! It’s £500 for a male and female fertility check. The only annoying thing is they don’t do evenings so he’d have to have a day off work to go🤣

@BGxxx did they say what would be included in the check? It’s annoying that everything is in the working day!
My period arrived this morning 🙌🏻

I'm feeling super nauseous for the second day in a row. Like literally gagging at random things. I had weird, like one-sided cramping 6dpo and yesterday at 9dpo. I want to test so much 😭
I have a Clearblue test at home already and I got a bfp with it 10dpo with my chemical pregnancy, but ugh... If I don't test tomorrow morning, I have to wait until monday, because I'll be away for the weekend. But, it's going to be mother's day on sunday here and I don't want to ruin my mood with a negative result 😮‍💨 Choices, choices....

Yay for period!! Amh, tsh (which I’ve actually had at the gp) and then a scan. So now I’m undecided what to do! I don’t know whether to just book a scan to check if everything looks okay inside and that my ovaries look like they’re working

@BGxxx now I’m worrying as the bleeding has stopped 🤦🏼‍♀️ Why is everything such a stress.
How many cycles post loss are you now? If you’re unsure, could you give it say 2-3 months and see what happens, and then book in?

I’ve my fingers crossed for you @CabbageFan I usually like to wait as long as possible to test but know I’m in the minority!

@Figtree11 I'm so impatient! 🤣 "everybody else" seems get their BFPs so early and I have somewhat irregular luteal phases, so it's super difficult to wait until I miss my periods. 14dpo I can still be a couple days away from AF.
I'm trying to scratch that test itch with LH strips (for science and curiosity, or so I'd like to believe) and the line actually did get a liiiiitttle bit darker today 🫢 A friend offered me five euros to do the Clearblue tomorrow, but I don't know if it's worth it 😂

@Figtree11 god sake period come back🥲 it was 3 months yesterday since the removal, im on my 3rd ovulation since

I've been naughty and did it 😫 The 5 euro offer was too good to pass 🤣
Clearblue is infamous for evaporation lines, but this was taken within the time limit. I think I see something! Had to do black/white and negative images too to make sure. It's very faint, but I'm also only 11dpo and implantation might have happened ~9dpo if the cramps are to judge.
OPK doubled in thickness compared to yesterday too. Bbt rose even further. Yes yes it could be anything... but what if 👀 Can somebody give me a reality check? 🥲

I can see it! This was my 9dpo positive on the same test, very faint

I'm going to an island with no stores nearby for the weekend and honestly, GOOD. It will be ~14dpo before I'm able to test again. If it's positive then, it's really positive.
