Hey there,
Does anyone want to be ttc friends and update each other on our journeys, tips and what not on this thread with each other. As I'd love someone to talk about with it who can relate too.

That's great news! So happy for you. The digital tests are always accurate. I have never heard anyone get a false result.

Sineadttc · 04/10/2023 19:49

@Grungegoo woo hoo!!! Congrats. How are you feeling

starryx · 05/10/2023 10:14

Oh my god congrats!!! I'm so happy for you!!!

@Grungegoo congratulations! I understand your tentativeness but that looks very promising.

do you think the myo inositol helped or also taken the more relaxed approach this month? I’m trying the more relaxed approach as I definitely think I’ve put too much pressure on myself the last few months.

ceruleansky · 05/10/2023 13:06

@Grungegoo
Congratulations!! 🎊 Must be surreal! Enjoy every moment of it. 😀

Grungegoo · 06/10/2023 08:01

It's beginning to look like a chemical pregnancy. Lines not getting any darker, they are actually lighter. Trying not to obsess but been to my gp who has taken some bloods. Going in on Tuesday to see if it's viable or not. Worse thing is that this is during the weekend which is going to drive me nuts.
Anyway will update with any information.
And thanks a lot for the good wishes over the last few days, it is being one hell of a rollercoaster.

So sorry, just seen this. I believe it helps in the sense that you feel you are doing something to help. I keep taking it out of routine and I believe it can't hurt. Many people swear by it though!

Roseberry22 · 06/10/2023 08:30

@Grungegoo Sorry to hear you think it may be a chemical, I have everything crossed for you and try and not worry over the weekend!

GreenMug30 · 06/10/2023 08:49

Hi everyone please can I join you?
I'm ttc first baby, I've had two miscarriages so far this year, the last one in June.
I'm 12dpo today and bfn, after having all the symptom spotting madness the past few days with one sided cramps, dreams, swollen boobs etc! So I think I'm out this month, but would love to have some ttc friends to chat to for the next one.

This month I tried taking aspirin after ovulation in hope of successful implantation and I also got a fertilily thing after reading good reviews! I'm going to check out myo inositol now too.

@Grungegoo i hope that your bloods come back okay 🤍hope your weekend plans make the time pass quickly!

starryx · 06/10/2023 12:28

Of course you can join! I'm at the point whether I'm not sure if this is af impending or I'm pregnant!
Been about 3days I've had cramps and had to pee more
So we will see

So I did another Clearblue test on Wednesday and it had the faintest outline of a second line. I'm still bleeding like a normal period but it's looking like it will tail off today which is day 4. I've done two cheap pregnancy tests today and they were both negative...really not sure what is going on.

Roseberry22 · 06/10/2023 15:54

@Rose38 it might be difficult to tell what happened now whether it was an evap line in the clear blue as they are known for it or if you might have been pregnant and it didn’t stick. Unfortunately I think as the latest are negative then they’ll be correct if the bleeding as tailing off as well.

starryx · 08/10/2023 08:24

Hi everyone
5/6 days I've had minor cramps come for small periods of the day like I'm going to come on
I have been peeing more
Had nausea a couple of times
I'm hoping this is all good signs

Any updates everyone?

I'm going for a blood test today as the doctor wants to check if I had an early miscarriage. 3 days of bleeding and 3 days of faint positives. Then 2 days later I had some brown discharge. Not sure what is going on but she also asked me to do a swab.

All the cheap pregnancy tests are coming up negative since then. Can't keep buying Clearblue expensive tests.

Hope everyone else is having better luck than me.

Roseberry22 · 10/10/2023 20:35

I’m hopefully coming up to ovulation in the next week to try again! Trying not to stress too much and hope what will be will be, give me a couple of days and I’m sure I’ll be back stressing though haha.

sorry to hear that @Rose38 I hope they manage to find out what has happened. Do you know how long it will take to get your results?

Roseberry22 · 10/10/2023 20:35

@starryx how are you feeling?

Rose38 · 10/10/2023 22:59

The results should be back Thursday. In the meantime this is my ovulating week so I'm just trying to stay positive & try again.

starryx · 11/10/2023 08:46

Roseberry22 · 10/10/2023 20:35

Still not the best, as I'm off work I might do a test now

Grungegoo · 11/10/2023 09:01

Turns out it was indeed a chemical. Bloods came in yesterday and hcg was really low. I also started bleeding on Monday night and the scan on Tuesday confirmed that they had been something there but it wasn't there any longer.
If a chemical is this painful and the bleeding so horrible, I really don't want to know those who have it further along what it must be like.
Anyway, going to try again this month fingers crossed. It's back to dc1.

Rose38 · 11/10/2023 10:05

I'm so sorry that happened 😔 The whole ttc journey is difficult. Please try and rest.
Really hope that this month is better for you 🤞

Roseberry22 · 11/10/2023 12:09

@Grungegoo so sorry to hear that and that it’s been quite painful! Take some time to rest ready to try again. Sending you all the luck.

@starryx what date in your cycle are you? It might be worth taking a test if you’re classed as late.

GreenMug30 · 11/10/2023 12:27

@Grungegoo i'm so sorry lovely xxx
i've had the same experience with a really painful early miscarriage. Take lots of rest and look after yourself.

I'm on cd 6 now, ovulation week next week and trying to be positive. I've finally taken the plunge and ordered Hertility tests and a sperm test for my husband. I'll share any feedback on the tests and reports once we've both done them in case any one else is thinking of doing this.

I've also booked in for acupuncture next month - maybe a bit woo but worth a try even if it's just to help me relax! Has anyone else tried this? Would love to hear feedback.

Really pleased to find this thread. I'm 36 and ttc but only came off the pill in September (2.5 weeks ago). I know it might not be easy and i haven't even had a proper period yet but really really want to get pregnant and don't feel like i have anyone to talk to about this. All my friends already have babies/children.

HarrogateGirl · 11/10/2023 14:03

I stopped taking the pill 2.5 weeks after 4 years on it but i havent had any side effect yet and no signs of anything. I was taking the combined pill.
