Hey there,
Does anyone want to be ttc friends and update each other on our journeys, tips and what not on this thread with each other. As I'd love someone to talk about with it who can relate too.

Ttc is a hard journey! For others easy it's just unpredictable. The ttw knows how to send a women crazy 🤪 but we plod on. Have u been trying long or just starting? Xx

Millie1501 · 19/09/2023 14:53

Yeah I’m feeling the same way. I’m on my third cycle trying for baby number 2. I am finding the tww torture. I’m at 13dpo this cycle and tested negative this morning so I’m almost certain I’m not pregnant. How’s it going for you? You on your tww atm?

Katie276 · 19/09/2023 14:57

I’d love to be a part of this group! We’re TTC #1 , only just started our 2nd cycle so still very early for us 😊

tife1234 · 19/09/2023 15:00

Trying for our rainbow baby cycle 2

Sineadttc · 19/09/2023 15:30

Would love to be on your journey with you. How’s it going?
I am on my 5th cycle of TTC!! Hoping this month is the month but who knows. On day 9 of my cycle this month and it’s the first month I got the ovulation tests so hopefully that will help.
I also got the conception cup after reading the reviews on here but we have yet to use it!

starryx · 19/09/2023 20:17

I'm sorry ladies, totally forgot to check this!
Thank you for all replying
I'm personally ttc since June but I only just came off the pill then
1st baby I'm ttc, I'm 20.
How about yourselves?
Any tips you recommend
I'm going for a much healthier diet and exercise!

Hi,
I'd love to join the thread. I'm ttc #3. Just came off the mini pill over 3 weeks ago. Still no period but very bad intense cramps last few days so I'm not sure what is going on.

Previous pregnancies I've had, I would recommend trying to dtd every couple of days if you can. I always keep my legs up afterwards for at least 5 minutes. I don't know if that helped but the previous times I got pregnant it didn't take me too long. The last pregnancy I used Conceive Plus gel which I think helped as I got pregnant the first month of using it. I'm using it this time as well. Also taking Conceive Plus birth control detox. Time will tell if this is helping me in any way.

AvantGarden · 20/09/2023 05:08

Hello! I’d love to join in too.

I’m 27 and very early in my journey. I have been taking pre-conception vitamins this month and generally trying to eat better and move a bit more in preparation.

We’ve been less ‘careful’ for the last few months and nothing has happened, but my next cycle will be our first ‘official’ cycle of intentionally TTC for baby #1. Feels a bit surreal!!

Katie276 · 20/09/2023 06:26

@AvantGarden This is pretty much the exact same as us! We’re just starting our second cycle of TTC #1 and I’m also 27 😊

Hi! I would love to join.
I'm currently ttf #1 and on cycle 2. I never thought I'd get this obsessed and would find this so hard and lonely.
So many people have been trying for months and years and I feel guilty for obsessing so this forum has helped so much. Looking forward to keeping in touch!

starryx · 20/09/2023 09:44

Thank you for them tips!
The way I'm going to start approaching it now is that I have tbd everyday/every other day depending. And just see how it goes.
I'm excited but I am not going to put too much focus into it as I know it can be very energy consuming and so on.

Absolutely and it's valid to get obsessed easily.. as really in perspective 1/2 months and on wards is still a long amount of time when you think the year consists of only 12 months
It is said to think how long some people have tried.
I'm hoping all works out!

It definitely can drive your crazy
And honestly my journey has
I came off pill end of May
Had a few months trying,
Then a week end of August started taking the pill again for a week out of frustration to stop my period.
Was quite silly of me but my hormones seemed to be all over the place and I had plans for somewhere.
But now I'm back off and free. Had my withdrawal bleed and now continuing.
Stopped the alcohol too.

I never knew you could take a conceive plus birth control detox. Considering I have come off the pill that sounds quite useful to look into.
I usually dtd every day or other day anyway.
Baby number one here though so here's hoping, full of excitement and nerves.

Yeah I didn't know about those tablets either. I just happened to see them on Amazon when looking for the Conceive Plus gel & the reviews seem quite positive so thought I'd give them a go. I'll keep you posted on whether they actually helped.

Roseberry22 · 20/09/2023 14:34

@starryx I’ve just come across this thread and would love to be part of the journey.

I’m 28 and this month is #3 ttc.

It would be nice to have someone to talk to who is in the same position as I find it quite lonely having no one to talk to about ttc.

I have tendencies to over stress situations so although we’ve only been trying for 3 months this feels like a lifetime! My husband is so laid back and has the approach it’ll happen when it happens which I know it will and I can’t change but it doesn’t make it any easier to relax.

Ive been taking pregnancy vitamins and bbt for about 6 month's and started with ovulation tests last month. I’ve also used Preseed this month so we’ll see if that made any difference 😂

Yeah let me know please 🙏 as I'd be curious to see how they work.

For your other pregnancies out of curiosity did you come off the pill to conceive for them or is this your first time?
Just so I know what the experience is like

And I'm exactly the same, I stress a lot where as my partner is also so laid back he is practically lying down lol.
But yeah also I keep watching these pregnancy tik toks or family YouTubers who have a baby like I wish that was me q

It’s so difficult when they’re like that isn’t it! DH is the same he may as well be laid down he’s that relaxed 😂

I’m currently on CD18 and have just ovulated so now for the long TWW!

Rose38 · 20/09/2023 15:48

This is the first time I was on the mini pill and came off to start ttc. Previous pregnancies I was never on the pill. They only put me on the mini pill because after I had my son (2nd child) my periods were so painful that it felt like I was in labour & I obviously couldn't be dealing with that every month.

The good thing is that we are all on the same boat and here to support each other which is fantastic. After obsessing last month, this one I have taken it easy. I am now ovulating according to OPK so let the fun times begin… Ladies, we can do this!

I am 34 and came off Nuvaring in April. Took it easy for a few months but realized it is actually much harder than everyone makes you think. Maybe it´s just me but it´s really frustrating trying to avoid something all of your life and now that you want it, it gets harder and harder.

If it´s any comfort, everybody around me thinks I am going nuts. Both my sisters-in-law fell pregnant on the first cycle of trying and do not pity me (I think) but just plod odd happily with their pregnancies. Cannot blame them though.
My friends think I am obsessing too early and my husband thinks I ´m pregnant every cycle which does not help one bit.
Ím on Myo-inositol and have a check up in three months, if no BFP I will ask about other supplements.

Those stupid algorithms… Right now all I get is “let’s take a pregnancy test but they’re like 99,99% chance I am not. Oh my God, I am pregnant!” I am happy for them but here I am wishing that was me, that it would be so easy.

Roseberry22 · 20/09/2023 20:58

@Grungegoo I’ve said the same tonight, taken the pill for the best part of 12 years and you just think oh it’ll only take a couple of months. And now now I haven’t been got pregnant I keep thinking is there something wrong which doesn’t help.

if you’re going nuts so am I then haha! I think it’s easy for people to say don’t obsess etc but when you really want something and it seems to take a while to happen then you try everything possible each month don’t you.

Fingers crossed for you in the next three months!

Ím sure we will both manage to conceive sooner rather than later and we can stop obsessing over conceiving and get other obsessions. And hey, if you need a hand or just someone to rant with, just let me know!
