IVF April 2023 - looking for buddies!

Anyone out there starting/continuing IVF treatment next month (April 2023)?

I’m 36, first time everything, and due to start stims early April. Wondering if there are others who might like a thread to chat/vent?

Oh my goodness, so sorry @Triselly. What a terrible approach for them to take. Definitely call them and get some clarity.

Unfortunately they're closed now so just gonna have to hang tight until tomorrow morning. It's not a negative but it doesn't look good. How can you get a flipping inconclusive on a pregnancy test??

@Triselly I believe sometimes it can come back as inconclusive and then they would perhaps suggest a second test to see if the levels are going up.

@Flowerlover010 you're our guru on a lot of things. Am I right in thinking levels should be increasing and perhaps they would suggest a second test in a couple of days?

@cr7 not sure im a guru 🤣 just got a bit of bad history thats given me some life lessons i guess

@Triselly sorry your clinic responded so badly to you. I personally think maybe you need clarification from a doctor first of what that result actually means rather than having to read it yourself and then if it is inconclusive/positive they should definitely being doing another blood test in a few days to see if its increased or not.

Thank you very much everyone. I’ll just have to sit tight until tomorrow when I can call the clinic. I would imagine the same, I’ll have to retest in a couple of days.

Hope you're ok @Triselly and the clinic will provide some clarity tomorrow 💗 I'm so sorry its such a stressful few days for you.

Thanks @CR7 I did talk to my clinic in the end. They said with my pessaries (crinone 8%) they only give one a day. But she is going to talk to the doctor and see if she thinks I need extra and then they can give me something else. The cramps coming and going and feel exactly like before I come on my period. I think it is quite likely they are just caused by the progesterone so trying not to worry too much. It does say on the side effects that cramps are 'very common'

@lemons44 It is! 10.30 tomorrow. Just watching tv on the iPad with my husband on a blow up bed in Lewisham at the moment 😂 Had a yummy Chinese for tea.
