Anyone out there starting/continuing IVF treatment next month (April 2023)?

I’m 36, first time everything, and due to start stims early April. Wondering if there are others who might like a thread to chat/vent?

If you’re out there and in a similar position, let me know!

Delighted for you @CR7!

Massive well done for surviving the wait, really how you can enjoy the feeling now.

CR7 · 08/05/2023 07:43

As a reminder ladies, I'm 42.5 with an amh of about 2. (Possibly less these days) Third transfer after three collections, a mock transfer, a Hysteroscopy and EndemeTRIO testing. If there is a little hope for me then there is for everyone xx

CR7 · 08/05/2023 07:44

@RunningOnHope thank you xx hopefully some answers for you today also

TheBirdintheCave · 08/05/2023 07:47

@CR7 Yessss! I'm so happy for you! Congratulations! What amazing news to see when opening up Mumsnet 🥰 And yes, go and get some rest!

RunningOnHope · 08/05/2023 08:04

I'd call todays a strong positive, with really heavy bleeding now. Looking forward to talking to a nurse later.

RunningOnHope · 08/05/2023 09:18

Clinic confirmed it sounds like a chemical pregnancy - I'm really bloated and in quite a lot of pain today. Got to stick with the pessaries and test again Wednesday or Thursday.

Triselly · 08/05/2023 09:24

Absolutely fantastic news @CR7 I am so so happy for you!!

@RunningOnHope I'm annoyed on your behalf that they haven't suggested doing bloods to see if your HCG is rising or falling.

Not feeling great today. I'm a bit bloated now and have some backache which is worrying.

lemons44 · 08/05/2023 09:39

Oh @RunningOnHope I'm sorry ☹️ we're all here for you 💗

lemons44 · 08/05/2023 09:43

I'm feeling a bit confused today. I am 4dp3dt and for this morning and yesterday I have had very mild period pains on an off ☹️
I rang the clinic and asked them to check if I should be on more progesterone.
I know it could be either a positive or negative sign. I don't know when my period is due as I was on long protocol so started my down reg on day 21 of last cycle so haven't had a period in about 5 weeks.
Not sure if I've done the right thing by asking the clinic about my dose or if I'm being paranoid. I'm now worrying they might put me on MORE progesterone and this will have bad effects. Is it possible to have too much? So hard to know what to do. Feeling very hormonal and tearful today too.
xx

CR7 · 08/05/2023 09:55

@lemons44 my clinic said there's no such thing as too much progesterone so let me put your mind at ease with that worry.

Every lady is different. I didn't have a single symptom as you know but other ladies definitely said that they had symptoms and went on to get pregnant.

If you can you need to just take every day at a time and try to keep yourself calm. You won't help your MH if you are worrying about every twinge I promise. Eat well. Surround yourself with positive people. Walk. Watch tv. Good books. Time will move xx

Triselly · 08/05/2023 10:19

I'm so sorry @RunningOnHope, hopefully today can at least give some more concrete answers and you have your family around you. We're here as well of course if you need to vent ❤️

My bleeding is heavier today so fully expecting a negative later today when the clinic calls. I don't think I've cried so much in my life! At least can be done with the damn progesterone for a while.

@Triselly I'm really sorry ☹️

SarahShorty · 08/05/2023 11:04

@cr7 congratulations!! xx I'm so happy for you!

CR7 · 08/05/2023 11:07

@SarahShorty thank you ♥️

Sending you love @Triselly xx

Flowerlover010 · 08/05/2023 12:43

@Triselly so sorry, thinking of you. Its such a tough journey. Sorry its not what u wanted to hear @RunningOnHope hope the torment is over for you soon

Flowerlover010 · 08/05/2023 12:47

@lemons44 your period would be roughly due 2 weeks after your transfer date. The cramping could be implantation but it would be impossible to know at this stage. x

RunningOnHope · 08/05/2023 13:50

Thanks everyone. It was a horrible few hours this morning in a lot of pain but it's eased off to mild aches, so I think the worst has passed. What a rollercoaster this has been. Glad you've been with me on it. Will we have a new thread for when we run out, @Triselly?

Triselly · 08/05/2023 15:04

Really hoping any of you ladies might have any clue about this:

The clinic messaged and said my results wouldn’t be in today, but I could check in the lab and read the results online myself. Nurse message said Hcg level of 5 or over was a positive, under 5 was a negative.

My result is exactly a 5? Still light bleeding and utterly confused
