Bucky - v jealous of your new dress - saw that ages ago and it's lovely!

Right - am appealing for help or suggestions. I'm day 15 and I have (in the last couple of hours) got the most horrendous cramps. I have had some ovulation pain before, but nothing like this. Plus, I should have ovulated by now. The worrying thing is it's all on the right side. It's hurting like mad; I'm seriously considering NHS direct.

sarahnh · 06/12/2007 21:06

abbey,

I had those pains this month, convinced myself that it was a appendix, and i got a bfp this month xxxx

Bucky2007 · 06/12/2007 21:10

Abbey . What could it be? Now don't be offended, but could it be wind? I had that once when I was on this cabbage soup diet thing and I, and don't laugh, I REALLY thought I was dying and it felt like it was my kidneys or something . Super painful and it didn't feel like my stomach. Obviously, you know what cramps feel like so it probably isn't but sometimes pains aren't originating where you think they are. Like a heart attack being a pain in the shoulder...etc. Hmm, I'm not really doing ANYTHING to make you feel better am I? I am worried though...maybe you should call NHS Direct and see what they say [worried emoticon].

Bucky2007 · 06/12/2007 21:11

But like Sarah's thinking better...maybe it is your lucky month.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 06/12/2007 21:13

Sarah - You have given me hope already with the ewcm! And now the pain... Thanks

It still bloody hurts tho! Have caved and taken two paracetamol. I realise this is lightweight, but I daren't take anything stronger for fear of harming potential pg. I'm gritting my teeth through it at the minute. Might go medieval and send dh out to find me a bit of twig to bite down on!

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 06/12/2007 21:17

Bucky - could well be wind; I have felt disgusting for a week, and was actually off sick today. I've had a really upset stomach - feeling sick and really tired. The only thing is is that it does really feel like cramps. It's far too severe to be ovulation pain. If it carries on into the night I will ring NHS up. I realise ailments could well be symptoms, but I remember August when I had so many physical changes that I was convinced I was pg, but wasn't. Thank you for your concern though - and don't worry, dh will only put up with my moaning for so long until he takes action .

twinklingfairy · 06/12/2007 21:22

I had exactly the same thing last month abbey
I was doubled up with pain and couldn't stand up for a few hours.
Well done you for taking paracetemol, it took me until DH to come home before I thought on that doh!!
Mine was just exactly where my ovaries are so I was absolutely sure that that was what it was.
I got a chemical pregnancy last month too. So hopefully yours will turn into a BFP and stick with you
Smile! Pain is good!!!

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 06/12/2007 21:26

Ooh Abbey this is sounding very hopeful!!

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 06/12/2007 21:27

Bucky loving your festive name - am smiling through the pain!

07mumstheword · 06/12/2007 21:28

Bucky Sexy dress I'm sure you'll be the only real belle of the ball.

Congratulations Poppysocks

to hear your news about your jobs GG & Shazza

DG Hope you're having a good night & AF or even better a BFP shows soon.

I have to go now as DH breathing down my neck wanting the laptop Can I just ask (and I'll grab laptop back later) I'm CD15/6dpo and had slight blood after sex tonight. Could this be anything to do with implantation? Felt nausea earlier but that could be too much tea. And I've had the odd ache down there but can't describe it and certainly isn't as painful as some of you have descriped Any ideas anyone? DH going on again so gotta go for now

twinklingfairy · 06/12/2007 21:34

DG defo told me that implantation happens around this time MTW
ooh! Hope so

grr aren't DH's pests
Mine is hanging around me in a hopeful manner, teehee!

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 06/12/2007 21:45

MTW - sounding good cycle buddy! So you're still b-ding too? I haven't quite given up yet - 9 days in a row and counting. Poor dh has actually started complaining about my demands. And endured despite my dodgy tummy and the risk of germs that I've posed this week. I am nominating him for a ttc medal!

Twinkling Fairy - sorry to hear about chemical pg. Your dh is keen - not moaning like mine! Don't think I'll ever get pestered for sex again .

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 06/12/2007 21:57

MTW could be...Fingers crossed.

The dress is going back tomorrow. I just tried it on again and DP agreed that I look like Alice in Wonderland

07mumstheword · 06/12/2007 22:08

Thanks for replies. so implantation is possible then. It was only a tiny bit but just thought it a little strange. Mind you I think I may have had it last month so wont get too excited yet

Twinkling Yes DH are a pain, what do we need them for again. lol.

Abby Your DH definately deserves a TTC medal 9 days and still going strong. We did it 6 out of 7 then when my most fertile time had finished we had 3 nights off and DH thinks I only use him when I'm TTC so I was trying to prove him wrong.

Bucky Love the festive name by the way. Oh dear the dress isn't great after all. I had visions of you looking just like the model in the picture with your hair being blown and looking fabulous darling! Hope you find something else.

ScaryHairy · 06/12/2007 22:15

Congratulations Poppysocks. A line IS a line! With my DD I tested at 10dpo and got a very pale line. I was fuming with the test company and even took a photo to use as evidence of their inferior product!! The false positive is now 18 months old...

Thanks for the invitation to the meet-up, DG. Unfortuately I'm pretty tied up trying to get organised for christmas and am spending this weekend driving to rellies' houses to drop off presents (what glamour). No doubt you'll all have a great time.

Anyway, must go to bed, poor DH is looking weary after his monster commuting effort .

TwilightSurfer · 06/12/2007 22:17

Hey is DG around? I wanted to check on her symptoms as they were the same as mine. It was all her talk about temping that started me doing that each morning, even though I wasn't officially on a normal cycle. If I hadn't had the temps I'd never convinced myself to test this morning and get a faint BFP.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 08:39

Morning all! Am back to moan...

Owwwww!!!! Still have cramps. They went on all night - really painful. Paracetamol didn't touch them. They're like bad AF pain.

I would love to think that it's implantation, but I have a 28 day cycle that is regular; surely I'd have only just ovulated? Mums - you ovulate early - how long is your cycle normally?

It's worrying because if it's not implantation, then it's severe ovulation pain which isn't right. This then sets me off thinking that it could be some horrible complication.

Sorry for me me me.

Bucky - I had high hopes for your dress! Am very disappointed! I still think you should have your photo taken, Helena-style, and put it on your profile before you take it back .

07mumstheword · 07/12/2007 08:46

Abby Poor you with nasty pains. My cycles have been 26-28 days over the last couple of months (have been 26-32 days over the last 8 months)and I've used OPK's this cycle and the last which has given me CD10 last month and CD9 this month. I have been at how early I've OV'd. Perhaps you have already OV'd and implantation is taking place now. Please try not to worry IF you get a BFN this month you could try using an OPK next month but start using from about CD9 just in case you are OV early.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 09:12

Mums - I thought it was a possibility, but didn't know whether this would make my overall cycle much shorter. One things certain - that if I am ovulating much earlier it would explain why I haven't caught before, as I've always worked on day 14. Fingers crossed it's implantation - though dh asked what it's implanting with, a drill?!!!

If it's not, then back to doctors for me .

TwilightSurfer · 07/12/2007 09:12

Abby belly pain here too. Could just be remodeling to make room for baby and not AF. I've had it with every pregnancy.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 09:16

Twilight I like that - remodeling!

GryffinGirl · 07/12/2007 09:21

abbey - I'd agree with 07MTW that you could be ovulating early. I have been getting EWCM from around CD10/11 and the OPK's I've used are predicting OV about day 12, so it may be earlier than you think. I have decided to do OPK's from CD7 this month so I can build up a pattern of lines and recognise my cycle patterns.

Bucky I will have to think of a festive name too Sorry that the dress isn't right

Well ladies, clearly nothing to report here in the way of symptoms, but I have my doctor's appointment this afternoon [scared emoticon] at 3pm for the kick off TTC investigations. I'll try and get on the computer tonight to let you know how it goes. I am hoping that Shazza is right and that all I need to fall PG is to go and waste a GP's time for half and hour and, hey presto, the next month I tumble . I am CD3 today (by sheer lucky co-incidence) so I shall pressurise him into taking some of my precious A Neg for testing while the time is right. Otherwise my next CD3 will be in January when I am on holiday, so it would be Feb before the day comes round again.

hello to everyone else

Oh, I am getting the same cbcb, but I have been getting this stuff since CD9 and I don't know what to think.
I ov'd (test said) at CD 17 last month so I did not start testing until CD 12 this month.
Still no positives, but still this CM?
Now my (.)(.) hurt this morn (like the milk was coming in) But I can't be pregnant cos my temps are all still relatively low?
Why all the goop then?
Confused and

Sorry to hijack, but I think yours does sound like it could be time to start BDing, just in case.
Good luck and have fun
