Hi everyone
Thanks for all your sympathetic responses to my whinging. I feel like a bit of a baby complaining about it. I mean, everyone on this thread has been through exactly the same thing. But it is really nice to come on here and post knowing that you all do understand as I can't complain to DH because that would make him feel the pressure even more, and that is just not fair.
The latest positive step is that I have ordered a bumper pack of wee-sticks of different varieties from the internet so I can indulge my obsession with tests. Secretly I am hoping that I will get pregnant before I need it (why can't Sod's law apply at times like this?). If that happens, this thread will be Mumsnet's version of Freecycle for a bit!
I'm also cheered up by the fact that I gave my daughter her first pillow today and she was sooooo excited. Unfortunately the bloody hormones turned happy moment into damp eyed moment, but it is still nice to see her made so happy by such a little thing!
TF and Picknmix I'm sorry to hear that this cycle is out for you both too. I was hoping it was an implantation dip, but tests are BFN and it has so far lasted 2 days so I think it is not to be.
DG try to relax and just enjoy being pregnant. I know it's hard not to worry, but what will be will be. I read that embryos that implant earlier are more likely to stick - and for you to get a BFP at 10dpo I reckon yours must have been a pretty early implanter. You'll be fine in Mauritius - just avoid jacuzzis and try not to get too hot. Lying around on the beach and the odd swim will definitely be fine, as will the flight. Also, it is pretty normal not to have a booking check up until quite far along (I was about 14 weeks iirc). Just get that scan in as soon as you can as it will put your mind at rest (and give you the right dates). By the way, I spoke to my friend who had her baby at the Whittington and she said she would go back there and that while on the post natal ward they checked on her really often (not just at rounds) and there was a breastfeeding counsellor on hand. Believe me, that's a lot more than they did at QC!

GG - don't take any nonsense from the Dr.
JB long cycles are a bugger aren't they? Still the temping should hopefully help you to understand what on earth is going on.
Hellos also to Shreksmissus, mibbes, MrsEi and everyone else.
