Anyone else ttc #2?

My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@xxfxx I think that (based on the premom app) if you take your day of ovulation (assuming you track, which you might not) and add 14 days that should be the day of your AF/BFP. i'd usually expect a 2 week time from the start of the period to the ovulation day, but this time it was 3 weeks for me, I assume due to the covid booster. After ovulation, I think it takes 6-12 days usually for fertalization and then implantation, then HCG (the pregnancy hormone) should reach measurable levels in 3-5 days. So basically 14 days post ovulation is what the apps seem to predict for most AF days based on my experience. Some could be longer or shorter though, everyone is different. Hope you figure it out!

AF finally arrived today. I think I must have ovulated late so it pushed it back, most likely due to the chemical I think. Gutted, but glad to not be in limbo anymore. Onto cycle 7..maybe a Christmas gift?

Hey @GreenFlipFlop sorry to hear AF came but also good you’re not in limbo anymore. Still not AF here for me no idea what’s going on. My bb’s have started to ache today which never happens. Think my body is playing tricks on me.

4 days. Havent tested for 2 days I keep getting so disappointed!

Hi all. I haven’t posted in a while but still been reading. I am 12DPO today and thought I’d been getting some symptoms but they seem to come and go - really tired, strong sense of smell. But, I’m also getting loads of cramps that feel like AF is imminent. Took my BBT this morning and it’s still high. Hoping for the best but expecting a BFN. My period is due around Monday so I’m going to try and wait until Wednesday when it’s definitely late.

@greenflipflop sorry AF arrived but out of limbo and fingers crossed for a nice little Xmas gift.

@GreenFlipFlop sorry to hear AF arrived. Although after a while it's almost a relief so that you know what is going on and can move onto the next month. Fingers crossed for December!

I'm good thanks @xxfxx I'd convinced myself it wasn't going well the other day so told my DH a day later than planned, I'm still only 4 weeks today bit keeping my fingers crossed it's a sticky bean 🤞🏻 just did a clearblue digital which is saying 2-3wks so that's on track for where I should be.

In case anyone is interested I used the fertilily cup this month and also was taking some omega 3 capsules and a vitamin d spray each day which were new this month alongside the seven seas ttc multivits that'd i was already taking.

I've wanted #2 for some time now and finally managed to have a good long conversation with h about it because he has been reluctant for so long but we both agreed we really wanted to - so we started to try about a week ago. I've forgotten all the acronyms from last time and I'm def not going to get myself as worried as I was last time because I know it'll happen eventually.

She's 4 ! I asked her if she would like to be a sister and she said 'yes, I want twins, a girl and a boy'. I'm not so keen on that result to be honest hahaha

@xxfxx full feeling / tender boobs on and off, bit headachey and tired, can't say i've noticed it much today, some slight womb twinges on one side, i had a fairly easy pregnancy with my son, similar symptoms to what i've had so far, i just can't remember if i felt them more constantly, it's amazing how quick you forget!

@xxfxx I am good thanks. Still can't really accept that I am pregnant. I have an early scan booked for 6th Dec when I should be around 8 weeks so until I see a heartbeat don't think I will believe it. I didn't have any symptoms the whole way through my 1st pregnacy so I think that also plays a part in not being able to believe it as it just feels like life as normal at the moment. Hoping AF is still saying away for you!

@xxfxx I'm ok thanks! Half made my peace with AF arriving but also frantically googling tips on how to get pregnant quicker 😂 gunna try conception vits this month I think! Mind you, DS has been an absolute terror this weekend refusing food and just generally screaming which hasn't been fun. Think it's his molars but it's been awful! How are you doing? Did you test today?

@GreenFlipFlop oh no! How old is he? Teeth are the worst. We’re going though a tough time with DD, she suddenly hates bed time and cries hysterically saying she has bad dreams. Currently having to lay next to here every night to get her to sleep poor girl! I’m alright thanks, I did this afternoon still BFN and no AF, 6 days late now, I give up.

@GreenFlipFlop he's 18 months! These molars are killing me! That sounds tough with your DD too 😩 does it take her long to settle when you're next to her?
