Anyone else ttc #2?

My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@GreenFlipFlop sounds promising! I have heard too that several positive OPKs can mean you’re pregnant but it would usually show on a pregnancy test before it would on an OPK so maybe use a FRER for your next test so it’s more reliable? I have everything crossed for you.

So, my spotting hasn't really developed in to anything and I had a really sharp pain this afternoon so I did a cheapy just now as had one in the bathroom and I am a POAS addict and am I being mad or is there something here? I am so used to seeing stark white but think I just have lines eyes. I have FRERs in so will test again with FMU

The more I look the less I see now... I think its just wishful thinking 😂😂

It looks like more on my camera reel, it's blurred a bit on the uploaded one. Anyway... I will stop dreaming and go to sleep now ready for a negative tomorrow!

Thanks everyone. I can't quite believe it. I knew it would happen the month I didn't really want it to as it means shared birthdays but just one party to spend on I guess!! I am 10dpo today x

Haven't been taking my pill since May but only cycle 3 of tracking ovulation etc

Taken a cheapy test this morning and a digital and both negative 😩 I have such tender boobs which I never get so I'm baffled! This whole thing is exhausting 😔

@GreenFlipFlop oh how frustrating, how are you doing? I wonder if you ovulated later than expected with OPKs being positive longer? I have no idea - but sending you love as the whole situation sounds really confusing especially after what you've been through already.

@greenflipflop the body has a grey way of driving up crazy! You're not out until AF shows up so you could still be too early to show positive on a test x

@Goodgoodthings @wegoagain Thanks guys. I feel a bit rubbish today, but hoping maybe it was somehow too early and AF doesn't show up? I can't decide whether to just take a break after this because I feel it's getting a bit obsessive!

@GreenFlipFlop ah it's so hard, but be gentle with yourself because I think everyone gets to that stage. Are you working from home? I am and when I was testing on cycle 1 I got through so many it was ridiculous. Cycle 1! 😵‍💫 this month I'm only going to use OPKs to confirm ovulation to keep an eye on my cycle length, and other than that have sex as often as we can/want to. I put so much pressure on myself and it was literally all I could think about! I was a monster 😅

You're not out yet, so try to find some ways to relax/distract yourself and test again in a couple of days. It will all work out (or so I keep telling myself!) and in the meantime we're all here to talk each other through it.

I have been lurking and reading but not posting much in the hope that I wouldn't get too carried away with TTC. Our DD is still a rubbish sleeper and so think we only managed to DTD once at the right time this month so I'm not holding out much hope. AF due tomorrow (or next Mon according to Ovia but pretty sure my calculations are right. I think Ovia originally calculated a later Ov date but hasn't then adjusted the AF dates).

@GreenFlipFlop hope you're feeling a bit better. You're not out yet but I know how easy it is to fixate. Last month I was a day late and had a full range of emotions. Firstly, I had a freak out that I might be pregnant and then was really upset when AF came!! An emotional roller coaster.....x

Yeah currently working 50/50 split between home and office! I defo think I fixate more when I'm at home! You're right, I'm just going to wait patiently for AF and at least if she comes I've had a bit of time to mentally prepare! It is definitely such an emotional rollercoaster though! I'm glad we can all chat it through together on here!
