TTC baby #2 March Bus

Hey 😋

Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

@JJ94 Thank you! I've still got my finger crossed for you. My cheapie is SO faint here compared to the FRER (same sample) and was totally blank 2 days ago. FRERs are only £6ish for a 2-pack on Amazon Prime atm...

I caved and took my other FRER and ofc negative but I’m not sure what I expected really 😂

I think I’m going to test Friday or Saturday as I’m due Friday. My husband has early starts all week and he wants to be home when I do test, so keep your fingers crossed girls!

I’ve been having really weird dreams, like so real life like I wake up and wonder if they were real. So intrigued about this as I can’t say it’s usual for me. I’ve still got loss of appetite (usually I can put a whole tonne of food away but I am not hungry whatsoever) and my boobs still feel fuller 🤞🏻

I would have got some from Amazon, it sounds daft but my mum uses my Amazon account and we haven't told anyone we are TTC again, so that would totally give the game away 😂
I'll probably cave and hold me wee for a few hours and test again later on tonight 🙈

@tuxedocat weird dreams are definitely a sign!! I have always had very strange dreams but I have found that they always go even crazier when pregnant 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Kimblebee19 I forgot to say... my symptoms are still the same! I still feel i'm going to come on any minute 😂 and i still feel a bit sick and dizzy, but i think your brain plays tricks on you when you kmow you're TTC 🤷🏼‍♀️

@tuxedocat not to feed into your POAS addiction...but you could always save some fmu to test when DH gets home...

@JJ94 yeah i'd be worried about that too - I think Amazon allows you to hide orders though? Symptoms sound promising, i forgot to mention that I've had a lot of dizziness/light headedness too!

@Babytale1 not actually sure when AF was due because cycles have been strange - i'm cd25 today so going by recent months I would at least have been having spotting if not full blown AF by now. Not sure where that puts me for a due date because the calculators ask for cycle length!

@Babytale1 I still feel terrible. My neck and legs are aching and I'm so warm so I know it's a full blown cold. My DC probably caught it from nursery and passed it on! I'm 7/6DPO depending on what app I go by so still too early. AF due a week today. Like I say don't feel very confident!

@tuxedocat I had always heard vivid dreams are a pregnancy symptom. Mines are always vivid and unbelievably stupid still sounds like promising symptoms though!

I always have mad vivid dreams so wouldnt know if thats a symptom - but anything thats unusual for you certainly could be!

@Kimblebee19 you are welcome. I'm pretty sure that uses the same logic the MWs use as well. At least it certainly worked when I had DC.

@Babytale1 thank you. It's easing now thankfully.
I have absolutely zero hope for this month. And to be honest I hadn't expected it to happen this month as it took us 8 months with DC1

November is exciting though as it's 1 month earlier (although not technically 😂). The calculator was 1 day out from my estimated due date at the 12 week scan.

Sorry forgot to say my day has been ok.

@May2311 morning! If it was me I would probably try tonight and then see how you feel tomorrow. I believe sperm can live in the body for 5 days or so!

@Babytale1 ooooh we could end up having our babies at the same time! How are you getting on? I saw the GP yesterday for referral and a once over, starting to feel a bit real but dont think its really hit me yet!

@moonpie32 it took us 8 months for our first too...! I was prepared for the long haul but here I am one spur of the moment decision later

I’m still holding strong! My boobs are still feeling bigger, and I’m still having the crazy dreams and been sleeping like a rock at night.

Only a few days to go 🤞🏻 I’m going to order some FRER for later on in the week

@Kimblebee19 I tested again yesterday and still negative! I will just wait until the weekend to see if AF is around the corner. If not then i'll test again.
My symptoms are still the same and i'm having really vivid dreams every night! I dont know whether it's my body playing tricks on me though!

@Kimblebee19 you sound like you've arrived at deciding to TTC #2 the same way as me! We've been talking about it for a while now but we literally decided to go for it the night we first DTD

I don't feel any form of symptoms and I'm 8/9DPO so I'm not feeling hopeful for this month at all.

How are we all today?

@JJ94 thanks! I'm trying to remember with DC #1 but it was 3 years ago and I was on holiday in the TWW so I didn't pay attention!

@moonpie32 i think we should be able to have a holiday every TTW 😂 would make it easier!
