TTC baby #2 March Bus

Hey 😋

Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

So basically we are going to start ttc baby #2 this month. So I'm going to ovulate in a week and we can't wait to start. 😍 I have a baby girl who is 6 months old.. and we thought we might as well start trying for baby #2 since we know we want a second one and they will grow up together.. and I know it is hard to have to with close gap but we feel we are ready :m😀 I'm actually curious how long ttc will take this time. It took us 4 cycles to conceive my baby girl and I was never on pills just condoms and now same...

I am ttc baby number 2 and currently on CD1.
I came off the pill in September but wanted to have a bit of time for my body to readjust and have been actively ttc since January. Have found my cycles have gone a bit funny since coming off the pill though.

@moonpie32 my first born was also a December baby so I am keeping fingers crossed March will also be my lucky month. Will keep them crossed for you too🤞

@Sunshinexx95 My LO is 10 months old & we are the same ( want a small age gap for them to grow up together)

@Maemar When I came off the pill before my first it took a while for body to settle down. Hopefully won't be much longer!

I’m still feeling a bit bloated this morning and have a lot of wind, I was so close to just running out to Asda last night to get one because all these symptoms are driving me crazy lol!

Is everyone from the UK or further afield?

@Babytale1 the symptoms drive you mad eh? When I had my little boy I was on the clear blue ovulation trials so was told when to test and had no symptoms or that threw me off completely! Fingers crossed for you. Sounds promising.

@May2311 so turns out i didn’t actually order the tests 🤣 I’m going to pop out after I’ve had my lunch to buy some. Can’t believe I’ve been sitting here waiting on an order I didn’t even make 🤣

@Babytale1 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 was it one of those decisions where you put them in your basket & thought "hmmm should I wait a bit to stop me being tempted and then forgot?" I have a stash but hubby has hidden them to stop me using them up too early 😂🙄 I have a while to go before I use them though. Xx

@May2311 I could have sworn I actually bought them, maybe I dreamt it 🙈 done a frer early and I can see the faintest of lines (as in would need a magnifying glass) however it’s hard to tell if it’s an indent line or if there is any pink in it. It’s still very early days so no doubt I’ll retest every day until my period is due 🤣 x

Currently 3dpo so a while for me to wait yet!

@tulips87 yes it's a good strong line for 9dpo. I felt a little nauseous yesterday but otherwise not really. I just had a feeling I was so I caved and tested

Hello may I join too please? I have a 21 month old and been TTC #2 since June. Am 41 and still bfeeding, both of which I think are reasons why we haven't conceived yet! Hope 2021 is lucky for you all!

Hi Ladies, can I join a little late to the party?
Congrats to those that have had BFPs and fingers crossed for those in the 2ww limbo.

I have a 2.2yo DS and had been planning to TTC #2 around when he turned 2. My periods have been acting strangely for the last 6 cycles (starting earlier between cd 22-26 with ~5 days spotting beforehand and then only lasting about 2 days at full flow) so have been waiting 2 months and still no sniff of an appt from hospital for a scan to check it out....so in a moment(s) of craziness we decided not to use a condom...the 3 times we dtd this month - so I guess we are going ahead with TTC!

I have been feeling very nauseous the past few days, alleviated temporarily by eating and have a very stuffy nose. Took 8 cycles to conceive last time, so wondering if this could really be it or if I've gone mental very early on this time.

No idea what to expect month to month atm, but currently cd21 and no sign of any spotting yet...

@Jem1979 Welcome! Hopefully you don’t have to wait too much longer as you say maybe it’s the breastfeeding 🤞🏻

@moonpie32 it's so hard not to. I felt so sick and off last night but I think that was just my body feeling over tired as it's waaay too early to feel anything.
When is AF due? I'm due around 21st x

@tulips87 I was the same. Felt sick and dizzy yesterday. Few mild cramps and such as well. Think it's just my mind playing tricks to be honest. I can already feel myself getting into crazy mode as I've downloaded every possible app for tracking (I still had Ovia from my first)
AF is due 21st as well! Fingers crossed we are BFP twins too
