TTC baby #2 March Bus

Hey 😋

Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

@JJ94 we are finally getting some of our garden jungle ripped out! A friend with a chainsaw is coming (we have a massive squat tree which seeded itself and is covered in Virginia creeper which looks lovely in the summer but it's totally out of control, it goes down the side of our drive, along the house right to the back of our garden and it's hard to shimmy past it!) 😁

@Laureatus sounds good! I think it's a great time to get garden jobs done now so that we can just sit and enjoy it in summer time (sit for 30 seconds before chasing a toddler that is haha!)
I've been painting the fences a couple of panels a day, trying to get it looking good.
I've been thinking to myself i will hopefully be pregnant over summer time and wont be able to do anything to strenuous... 🙈 we will see.

I'm off work from now till 14th so I'm happy (although I have a hospital app next week so ☹️)

Not testing over this weekend as still in FW so baby dancing.
Have terrible wind (sorry TMI), joint pain in mainly my knees and I'm cramping slightly so know ovulation is right around the corner!

I'm definitely out this month. Another BFN yesterday, and almost immediately I started spotting, which developed (with accompanying cramps!) to the point of no question. Really gutted this month! We just were kind of confidently optimistic it would work this month, I think because it just so happens that it was the same cycle trying and time of year we conceived our daughter (if we'd been successful, it would have been almost the exact same ovulation day, just two years later 😂), so it felt kind of perfect and lucky for us, and then also we had really really covered the fertile week 😅😂 So we were sure we gave ourselves every chance. It would also have been the ideal timing for my job. Anyway, that last part is certainly not the most important thing! On to cycle 4. I had a glass of wine last night and will be perked up and ready for the next FW in around a fortnight I guess! @moonpie32 yassss to time off work, and O being near! I don’t get much time off work (family biz) so I’m working a little but my son slept in a little today so I’m feeling good. I’m on day 2 of flashing smiley (how long will it last, I’m intrigued!) and my cheap OPK’s are getting a little darker. I still feel chill about using them but pleased to feel like my body is working in the right way if you know what I mean. O is reported around Tuesday ish

Ps only sharing as I'm in no mans land. No period as yet since stopping Cerazette three weeks ago... Keep testing incase I've somehow ovulated.

Unlikely I guess but... 🤷‍♀️

@tuxedocat aw I need it. I've not had a full break since last September. I work part time but it's nice just not to have to work for nearly 2 weeks! O is either today or tomorrow going by symptoms
That sounds promising that opk lines are getting darker along with flashing smiley. 🤞🏻

@Fuiseog sorry about the BFN but now you can have a couple glasses of wine of the long weekend!

@feliznavidad2 just to let you know, when I came off Cerazette last year (not for TTC then, just because it was making me feel horrible) it did take me 9 weeks to have a period, followed by a 44day cycle and then back to normal 28 day cycles. People have all different experiences with it though, so thats not to say it will take a while for you too (or that you wont catch in the meantime!), but just wanted to let you know it could take a little while. Fingers crossed for you that you do settle straight into a normal cycle and get a BFP soon!

Hope you don't mind me jumping on. Started ttc last month 17th 18th as this is when I thought I ovulated, but I messed up my dates and apparently ovulated on the 23rd (using flo app) luckily dtd in time but now I'm just all over the place as been testing over the last 4 days one being this morning and obviously negative so I'm thinking I may of ovulated late? I'm due on the 7th and got a heavy feeling down below. Suppose I'm just anxious as with my first came off my pill didn't even have a proper period, fell pregnant first try without tracking and got a positive on 10po and 13po x

It’s tough the first cycle off the pill. I had my first cycle off lucette last month and had a 30day cycle with a v v light bleed. Started using OPK’s just to get a feel for how my body is working etc.

@Rmw99 if you’re due on the 7th it could be a little early, I would hang in there and test a little closer. Heavy feeling could be good!

Hope you've all had a lovely Easter weekend so far?
I think I'm either 1 or 2DPO. Tried to do SMEG (😁) based on predicted ovulation so BD every night since Tuesday plus 2 extra days last week and will prob go for a final one tonight just in case 🙈😂

Hi ladies, af was due today and hasn't arrived yet. Still feeling like she's just around the corner though. I tested on 11dpo and got a negative (wilkos own and cleablue digi as its all I could get) . Today 12dpo I think.

Normally I ovulate around day 11 and af comes on day 26 but I noticed that I didn't ovulate until day 14 this month, would that make my period late? Don't want to get my hopes up if it is the Case but I cant find any answers anywhere and am too nervous to test again yet 🙄

I'm 12dpo I'm due on Wednesday (not Tuesday I got it wrong 😑). 1 negative test and 1 invalid test this morning. Iv had a heavy achy feeling last 2 days feels. Like I'm coming on but never usually get this only the day of my actual period but I do have a feeling AF will be arriving soon x

@K8Tee if I remember rightly period is 14 days from ovulation so it would be an extra 3 days this cycle I think for you

@moonpie32 good going!! I’m 1dpo, had the weirdest popping in my side yesterday afternoon, which apparently could be ovulation. Never knew about that, so 🤞🏻 We are in this month for a solid chance

I’ve eaten way too much chocolate today, and spent all day in the garden pottering around. A day that was good for the soul!

@K8Tee yeah I agree with tuxedo that if you ovulated slightly later this morning AF will more than likely be slightly later.

@Rmw99 sorry to hear you feel AF is approaching however you're not out till she shows!

@tuxedocat ha I know. Hubby certainly wasn't complaining. I've had horrendous cramps since last night so I don't know if I actually O'd last night but we had to give it a kiss as DC wasn't very well last night.

We’ve had a couple of miscarriages since starting to try again 😭 not feeling confident at all this month. We had a long journey TTC #1 who we found out we were pregnant with when I went for investigations.

Im 4/5dpo based on apps. I've had terrible cramps since 1/2DPO like AF style cramps below my belly and round my pelvic area as well as major bloating.
Far too early to even get symptoms but it plays tricks on your mind!

I'm about 9 dpo i think according to apps. I struggle to find my actual ovulation day using OPKs. I don't know when to test this month!!

It's my DH's birthday on Monday and that's the day i'm due AF. Do i wait until that morning? Do i test early like I normally would then if i get good news keep it to myself all weekend?! If i wait until Monday and then i get a BFN it will be double crap.

No idea what to do 😂
