TTC baby #2 March Bus

Hey 😋

Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

Can i ask a random question? I have literally this evening started leaking milk from my nipples. I combination fed our DS unril he was around 6months then he had bottles. My milk then dried up within about 3 weeks i would say?
I have never noticed it again since, so why would it start again now?
I swear when our bodies know we are ttc it plays tricks on us!!!

I'm on CD10 so can this happen around ovulation? I've never noticed it before?

I’m on CD 29 and still no hint of AF so testing today, hoping to join you @May2311! However my husband was a bit unwell last night and we all slept poorly so need to find the right time to test 😫 I know it won’t be the same as with the first baby but I don’t want it to be totally anticlimactic!

@JJ94 I have no idea sorry!! I’m still breastfeeding my son so haven’t experienced that.

Hi, can I join please? Ttc number 2. Dd is 4 and was a surprise 🤣this is cycle 3 of trying for us. I think I'm around 4dpo ( the whole thing confuses me a bit about how to count it but my first positive opk was 4 days ago). Hoping to hold out til at least af is due to test if needed which will be bank holiday Monday.... whether I last that long is another story 🤣🙈 trying not to symptom spot this month as sent myself crazy the last 2 months. @JJ94 no I haven't experienced it either- but I only BF for a week. Are you taking any prenatal vitamins? I wonder whether they have had an impact on it?

@May2311 i'm taking folic acid with vitamin D tablet once a day, but who knows what's caused it? Our bodies are weird and wonderful 😂

@JJ94 How old is your first? Mine is 15 months today, and every so often I still get a random leak, even though it's so so long since I stopped feeding her.

@Fuiseog he is 18 months old, i'm glad i'm not the only one then to leak!
I googled it but it's never a wise thing to do is it, it gives you all sorts of awful diagnoses!

Thanks everyone! Fingers crossed it sticks as my first pregnancy was a mmc so very aware of all possibilities.
My husband has been pretty chill about it but today out of the blue reassured me that he’s happy about it so that’s good 😂 He just has a lot going on at the moment and I think is nervous about #2 even though we discussed it and everything, which is understandable! He’s a great dad and a very positive person generally so as it sinks in I know he will be looking forward to it.

@JJ94 don't worry I get the same occasionally. I stopped BF last summer. I think it's something to do with hormones in relation to your cycle.
