what happened to lissie? Why on earth would anyone say anything unkind to her? I really don't understand mumsnet sometimes

ClairePO · 07/11/2007 23:15

Why has lissie left? Left this thread or MN?

whats happened to lissie????

ClairePO · 08/11/2007 06:19

Come back lissie an please ignore the idiots, which I know is really hard.

Hopefully they weren't in the conception forum, I certainly can't see any threads in here that apply. I will never understand why some people have to go out of their way to cause upset.

TJuice · 08/11/2007 08:32

lissie - we miss you!

ladylush · 08/11/2007 09:40

Some people find it all too easy to judge Come back Lissie. Cake and tea here - no nastiness

Wheelybug · 08/11/2007 09:46

Morning all ... self indulgent moment coming up....

CD1 here. Am not upset at all... of course I didn't just blub all over my friend when I dropped dd off at pre-school (my friend with a 2 week old baby).... No of course not... or over DH this morning making dd upset...

Sigh.

Jules - how's your sister this morning ?

Lissie - DO come back... people are so quick to jump on something on here that they don't agree with. Ignore them.

Wheelybug · 08/11/2007 09:48

Oh and anyway, I didn't want a July baby anyway - its my birthday, wedding anniversary, bro's birthday, neices, late FIL, a load of friends.... see. I didn't want it then anyway (Do I sound convincing ?)

ladylush · 08/11/2007 09:50

Wheely xx

ladylush · 08/11/2007 09:53

I think I will be the same if I get my period again at the end of this month

Wheelybug · 08/11/2007 09:59

Thanks LL. Its the pits isn't it. I don't know why some months you can just accept it and then other months it really is the end of the world. The stupid thing is I've had pmt for a week so I knew really it was coming but I was expecting CD1 to be yesterday so by the end of yesterday I was beginning to get my hopes up..... of course, then it comes.

Right, must join the gym I went to look at on monday and look into acupuncture (almost every shop in my high street is either a chinese medicine place, korean restaurant or korean supermarket so you'd have thought it would be easy).

Must get arse into gear and go to Post Office, then going round for tea at aforementioned friend's house before picking dd up. Then have a birthday party in big soft play place which I could do without.... moan grump winge.

Right will go before I get everyone else down.

ladylush · 08/11/2007 10:06

You're totally entitled to feel down so don't feel apologetic about it. I have been aware lately of how slowly time goes when ttc. Each month I buy new supplements even though I know they won't make any difference. It's as if I have to feel in control in some way.

ronshar · 08/11/2007 10:10

I am with you Wheely. CD2!

What has happened in two days on here.
ILTS thinking of you, it all seems to be going badly for you at the moment. Stay strong and it will all work itself out.

Jules. Remember the happy place you were in last week. It shows you still have the ability to be happy, all is not lost. I am sending lots of love to you and your sister. We all know how difficult and painful this time is for you both.

Lissie ignore them. Some women who use MN are horrid. I'm sure it is because they have no friends in RL, they feel it is acceptable to rip into the faceless people on here.

Lovelylou brilliant news for you, keeping my legs crossed for you.

Hello to everyone else and fingers crossed for some more summer babies.

sweetkitty · 08/11/2007 13:31

hi everyone

wheely - sorry about AF showing up, I'm an August baby, August babies are nice, think you have every right to be upset, take some time for yourself

justjules - your poor sister, hope things work out for her, it's all you need as well more worry will keep everything crossed for her

ILTS - hope things are a bit better for you too, how's the bleeding?

ladylush - how are you old cycle buddy?

Not much to report here 5 weeks today, still on knicker watch, 3 weeks to scan, I'm leaving it to 8 weeks as they will be able to see a bean and a good hearbeat by then (everything crossed), in some ways I'm already sad for this baby as I am not even getting that excited about it, don't even want to think I may have a newborn in July it seems too far away.

sweetkitty · 08/11/2007 13:32

sorry forgot to add is there any news from grinningbee? where is she?

ladylush · 08/11/2007 14:03

Hi sweetkitty - wishing away the next 3 weeks for you I'm a bit low but ok. Have a wonderful husband and a cute as a button ds so have to count my blessings, not just the bad luck

goingfor3 · 08/11/2007 14:21

Jules and ILTS I'm so sorry that thinks aren't going well for you both and those around you at the moment.

Ronshar and Wheelybug so sorry to hear your af has started.

Sweetkitty - The weeks will past faster than you can imagine, three week isn't that long

DUSTIN · 08/11/2007 15:49

Hello everyone,

justjules Thanks for the 'Happy Birthday'. Hope your sister is doing ok. Take care x.

Sweetkitty hope the 3 weeks whizz by for you and everything works out ok.

ladylush Like you I am trying to focus on the positive things in my life. I have been reading the book 'Cosmic ordering' (I will try anything!!)hoping that it will make me feel more positive- well it worked for Noel Edmunds apparently!

grinningbee · 08/11/2007 18:23

Dustin Happy birthday to you, fellow Scorpio!

Sweetkitty Here I am! I still don't know what to say. I know what you will say - buy a cb digital, lol.

(.)(.) are really sore today. I've been trying to work things out. If and it's a big if I am pg, it can only be two weeks since ov, so maybe that's why I'm not getting a big glowing bfp. I did the last of my 4 boots own tests first thing this morning, and there is a line that you don't have to squint to see again, but it is fairly faint. I said I was going to wait until Friday... couldn't do it!!

I am going to boots on Saturday to restock.

Big hugs to all those having a crappy time at the moment.

And for everyone, I shall leave this amazing chocolate cake I got at the W.I today. Chocolate sponge, chocolate buttercream, topped with chocolate buttons and pieces of flake and chocolate shavings.

Enjoy!

P.S Yes, I think I will have to relent and get a digital test at the weekend!

Thanx for being so nice ronshar, sorry about af showing up
Doc rang sheffield today and they said they are not worried because i am low risk and i should get a scan in three weeks. Feels different this time, hungry all the time and boobs feel bigger already. I am daring to get slightly excited

positive · 08/11/2007 18:49

hi everyone,

only drop in from time to time but just wanted to say hi, been trying to catch up with all the news.
cant believe katendmom has left - if you still look in positive gives you a big wave and hug. will miss you as we've chatted from the preg after mc site.

Am i right in saying there have been a couple of bfp's - thats great news. lets hope the festive season which is only around the corner will bring a few more.
I know how hard it is to keep ttc as it took us 18 mths from the mc and then all the knicker checking after the bfp.
I'm now 17wks and have had many ups and downs so far but beanie is hanging on in there - hope you all can do the same.

would love some cake in rl but none in the house - will have to have virtual carrot cake mmmm

positive thoughts and good vibes

DUSTIN · 08/11/2007 19:39
