yay!!!! have you put a link on old thread???

lissietothosefireworks · 02/11/2007 12:11

found you!

alittlebitshy · 02/11/2007 12:12

i just did a link before it totally shut down...

ronshar · 02/11/2007 12:15

Yay I did it right I found you!

Grinningbee. I have a CBD if you want to borrow it?

grinningbee · 02/11/2007 12:15

Woohoo! I managed to do it!

I have just put a link on the old one, so provided that works, we're rocking and rolling

Just waiting for my candle wax to melt, it takes ages! Mind you, DH is taking me to the pub for a birthday drink soon. The dilemma is.... do I have a drink drink or have something soft. Normally I only have one drink whenever we go anyway!

Ronshar, I don't think I'll be waiting for the testing. As much as it makes sense to wait, I haven't got the willpower!

ALBS, we are home for xmas if you are down around that time. Would be great to meet you in r/l.

ronshar · 02/11/2007 12:16

Happy Birthday I think I forgot to say it earlier.

alittlebitshy · 02/11/2007 12:17

having a sad day, but not ALL about babies

my lovely dd is in reception. Since April (she started nursery at the school in Jan) she has had a special little friend (K), who seems absolutely perfect for my dd personality wise.
But since half term the twins in the class have "stolen" K from my dd. Dd was talking to me at bed time last night saying "I just want my K". She doesn't understand it. The twins have told her she can't play with them, and that K isn't her best friend anymore
I know it's what kids do -esp girls, but it breaks my heart.

I had a word with the teacher today, also because dd said she fell asleep on the bench in the playground at playtime yesterday, which i think was because she had noone to play with (she just wants K, she didn't try to play with other girls). It's only a small ish class, and i'm just getting ahead of myself and panicking irrationally that dd will be lonely forever.

slap me someone!

lissietothosefireworks · 02/11/2007 12:18

gb, no drinking. treat yourself as pg!
what time are you off to boots?

alittlebitshy · 02/11/2007 12:18

Ronshar - yeah that would be fab! We'll be down the day after boxing day, and the only fixed thing so far is the panto at the Connaught, just like i used to go to when i was small

lissietothosefireworks · 02/11/2007 12:19

oh albs, poor dd, kids are cruel!

grinningbee · 02/11/2007 12:24

I shall be visiting Boots some time around 3ish I think.

No drinky for me, it'll be a nice j20. Yum!

I can't believe how obsessed I've suddenly got after such an is-it-or-isn't-it faint line!

Better go and make the candles now or I'll have nothing to sell on Sunday!

Back later

EllieG · 02/11/2007 13:21

Happy birthday gb! Am eating a chocolate muffin in honour.

07mumstheword · 02/11/2007 14:18

Couldn't resist coming to find you!

ALBS My dd is 2.5 and started pre-school in Sept two mornings a wk. She hasn't encountered any problems yet but I know what girls are like and dread the day. I'm sure your DD will have a new best friend if not "K" back very soon.

GB Happy Birthday. I'm guessing you've had a faint BFP can't see a previous msg. If I've got the right end of the stick GOOD LUCK!

sweetkitty · 02/11/2007 14:20

oh oh oh grinningbee can't wait for you to test, so you got DH to test one as well, I even peed on another ebay cheapie whilst upstairs cleaning and it was darker but still pale pink, mcchesers has also had a BFP today (don't know if she was ever one here but she had a mc in the summer as well). Oh and Happy Birthday hope you get a special little present, don't want to say it but it's looking good

ALBS - aww that breaks my heart, DD1 has just started nursery and I worry about things like that as you say especially with girls, they can be so cruel, you feel like you want to protect them forever, I don't know what to suggest maybe start another thread someone is bound to have some suggestions, I don't have any experience of that kind of playground thing yet.

PS you forgot pregnant after mc (I know theres a separate thread but I don't know anyone on there yet) I like it here it's comfy and theres always plenty of cakes.

mcchesers · 02/11/2007 14:33

Alright Grinningbee , I had the psychic right (.) tell me about BFP too! So maybe you should test now. As SK says I just got a BFP too after a MC in August so it can happen quickly.

and HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAY to yoouuuuu!

ALBS - Girls can be just awful. Give your little girl lots of hugs, she will get past it. Every emotion is so big when you are that age.

I'm still a bit spooked about going over to the other side of the board and it's really nice here.

herbaceous · 02/11/2007 14:39

I'm a bit jealous of all these BFPs. Do you have any top tips? Were you temping, pre-seeding, vitamin-eating, or what? Or just doing lots of shagging?

DUSTIN · 02/11/2007 14:52

Grinningbee Happy Birthday! Fingers crossed you get the birthday present you were hoping for- BFP!

mcchesers Congratulations!

Justjules Congratulations and Happy Birthday for yesterday.

(Lots of scorpios on this thread- I am one too, birthday next week)

Hello to everyone else

lissietothosefireworks · 02/11/2007 14:57

me too herby. we will make it off here for good son, im sure of it!

mcchesers · 02/11/2007 14:59

Oh I missed Jules! Congrats Jules..yipee!

herbaceous - I just looked at the dates and did some BDing with the DH and that was it. I also ate twice the folic acid that was recommended.

iliketotrickortreat · 02/11/2007 16:40

and you missed the all about us!

ALBS this has happened to my dds too and i just want to grab there 'friends' by their collars swing em round a bit and say you will be friends with my dds, how dare you leave them out you little sh...........

of course i wont but its gut wrenching when it happens

jules- erm oh...my...god....your getting married !!! congratulations honey was it the perfect proposal? did he get down on one knee? was it over candlelight??? tell us every little detail so we can all swoon at how romantic it was!
only chance i would get, my dp would say "here" and throw me a ring whilst picking his arse/nose/ears and watching eastenders

everyone else HIYA! I've not been on much as internet connection is really cack at the moment!!!

question, when i said brown blood it was actually brown cm (i went into panick mode!) ive read that it is more likely to be implantation bleed than anything else but i already got a bfp, and apparently you cant get a bfp until implantation occurs so now im totally confused!! can anyone shed any light on this??

btw its stopped now and it was only when i wiped, no knicker staining or owt

teeheelaydee · 02/11/2007 17:08

OMG - Busy day. Poss BFP for GB, proposal for Jules and a new thread, which I found despite being technically dumb.

ILTS- lol at mental picture of your DP proposing - I guess as long as the box he chucked has a nice big rock in you could forgive him.

Jules - Can we have description of ring as well as proposal. I always have engagement envy as neither me or DP are really up for the whole marriage thing - but the whole proposal/ring thing seems fun.

GB- Can't believe you haven't been back to let us know the result - hope that doesn't mean bad news.

I have no cake left in house and no chocolate biscuits. Mind you trying to get back to normal - does this mean I have to start healthy eating again - Boo

TJuice · 02/11/2007 17:19

hey ladies

its been a while. i have lurked but just feeling too grim to do anything, after i get in from work. not just constantly nauseous but i keep getting this intense lower abdominal pain in the middle of the night and i don't know what it is.
no bleeding though and i think all is well (fingers and everything crossed for my scan on wednesday), so i am hoping its just that stressed fanjo syndrome my gynae was talking about plus new pregnancy.

anyway, CONGRATS to Jules!!!

and to grinningbee

herb - i know its only anecdotal but i really think acupuncture is good for fertility. i am still having sessions and he says it can help keep the foetus high up in the uterus and keep the blood within itself, or something like that. i just know that i trust him and i feel very chillaxed afterwards.

well, i can't share any cake memories with you but i am waiting for a pepperoni feast from Dominos Pizza right now, with cheesy garlic bread and coke. i haven't eaten much for days and i suddenly need something. not very healthy but the thought of things like broccoli makes me want to gag right now!

sweetkitty · 02/11/2007 17:23
