Iliketotrickortreat - I had some brown blood/cm at 4-5 weeks accompanied by cramps with this pg and the MW told me that it was probably baby burrowing down and getting more comfy. It is quite common in the first weeks and my friend had it too at 6 weeks (her MW told her the same). I really liked the thought of baby getting comfy in there although it didn't completely take away the worry. Fingers crossed hun x

teeheelaydee · 02/11/2007 18:00

Hey TJ - was getting a bit concerned that you hadn't been around. Glad it sounds just like pg symptoms.

I have a healthy salmon thing for dinner and now I would rather have your pizza & coke and grinningbee's pecan pie. Blast - had good intentions when I went shopping.

Can't remember who said it but I know what you mean about BFP's. It does still cheer me up to hear them though and we'll be next. Keep believing.

iliketotrickortreat · 02/11/2007 19:35

he he i just fulled up our old thread

07mumstheword · 02/11/2007 19:45

ILTTOT I had brown bleeding with DD 1 at about 6 or 7 weeks and everything was fine.

TJuice I'm sure everything is ok and goodluck with the scan on Wednesday.

Congratulations Jules

splishsplosh · 02/11/2007 20:22

Congratulations Jules, you deserve lots of happiness

Congratulations to all the pg ladies, even if I am decidely pea green in skin tone right now. Dp still not budging from house, so day 12 is tomorrow - I am far more ignorant than most of you about planning things, as both my pregnancies have been accidents (though 1st time was in the knowledge that was taking a risk, but was in the first flush of romance, thought he was totally fab. Hmm, only known him about 6 weeks at the time) - but believe day 12 -16 fertile time in a 28 day cycle?? So, having occasional mad thoughts of attempting seduction (ie plying him with alcohol or some such) tomorrow. Yes, right. Totally stupid, mad crazy irresponsible thoughts. I blame all these bfps. Making me totally irrational.

I'll go now

grinningbee · 02/11/2007 20:32

Good evening ladies!

Sorry for the delay. DH decided to move the phone line from our caravan to the house himself rather than get a BT man... well, it's cobbled together for now and I'm back on the internet. Yay!!

We didn't go for a drink in the end, just moved more stuff, so now I'm in a house again after 8 months. Double yay!

So... I went to Boots and got 4 of their own tests. Did one as soon as we got home. I thought for a start it was bfn, but there is a ghost of a line. It's very faint, so to be honest I'm still not sure!

My (.)(.)'s are still hurting but I also feel very crampy, so knowing my luck it's AF being very cruel!

Seeing as I have 3 more tests, I shall do another one in a day or so and see what happens...

DH has gone to get a chinese for tea. Usually I'd have a glass of red, but I think I shall be skipping it until I know what's going on. At least I can scoff some dairy milk later

Ok so I'm ignoring the damn period I'm currently having and thinking forward to calculating things.
Now how do you calculate the first day of your period
My first day of bleeding was 'a wipe's worth then again the next day a slight splodge then woke up the next day to a massacre. Which day should I be counting from?

Never use ovulation sticks but dh lets me know by the 'damn it feels like your on fire' comments that I've ovulated and It's usually by the 13/4th day

congrates Jules - I also love a good engagement story and sparkly ring

splishsplosh · 02/11/2007 20:39

GB- great news you're back in your house.
Hope your bfp is not a sign of too much choc affecting your eyeseight - with both my pgs I felt like af was about to arrive on time as I still got crampy pains, so don't get too despondent, doesn't mean not pg

sweetkitty · 02/11/2007 21:10

GB - great news about moving back into your home you both must be delighted. On the test front sorry you haven't had anything more conclusive, I have a CBD upstairs, I could post it to you seriously don't want to cast doubts as I so want you to be pregnant but did you get a BFN after the mc, was just wondering if there might be some HCG still in your system since then as I heard it can take a month to go

aquababe - I heard CD is the first day you have to use a towel or tampon

I've eaten too many chocolates and feel sick now

splishsplosh · 02/11/2007 21:14

I was quite proud of myself as ate healthy lentil, veg and pasta thing for dinner. But was so starving just made toasted cheese sarnies. (oh, and lunch was a pack of choc mini rolls). I swear I will return to the gym next week, even if I do have to face a pg instructor. I comfort myself with the fact that I walk loads though. But I'm still gonna be bursting out of my clothes at this rate. Oh, have just remembered the 2 rows of choc i sneaked while dd was entranced by in the night garden

teeheelaydee · 02/11/2007 21:58

That is exactly what I say about gym and walking. When I was pg I had a reason to eat healthy and even though I knew I was going to get fat it was for a good cause. Now I just can't be bothered.

DP says I am a much nicer and less stressed person when I go to the gym so I guess I need to sort it as less stress might mean more baby dust. Splishsplosh - I'm with you - will go back to gym next week.

07mumstheword · 02/11/2007 22:58

Grinningbee I do hope you get a more positive line when you do the next text. It does look promising though. Hope you enjoyed your chinese.

Splishsplosh & teeheelaydee I too need to get to the gym. Well, we have treadmill and cross trainer in our garage with freeview TV so there really is no excuse as all I have to do is put my trainers on and get out there. I'm so lazy.

Morning Jules, hope you've got as much sunshine as we have, you can go and wave your hand around and admire the dazzling sparkles all day!

ronshar · 03/11/2007 15:07

Jules, you have to do the thing where you find a patch of sunlight and wave your ring finger in to watch the reflection! I am so crap I still do it 2 years later

I approached the subject that I may be pregnant again with DH this morning. First off he did that man smile that states, hey my boys are sooooo good. He then said it was time to get down the clinic to get himself seen to!!!!
Still got very sore (.)(.) and I still feel a bit funny so who knows. I am going to test in the morning as AF should be due, if I have same cycle post MC.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today.

aquababe · 03/11/2007 16:40

Thanks sweet kitty.
I've never had such a messed up period in my life it's still stopping and starting now

Good luck with getting a darker line grinning bee you definitely seem to deserve some luck.

aquababe · 03/11/2007 16:42

oh and good luck to you too Ronshar

lissietothosefireworks · 03/11/2007 16:42

hello all, i come needing advice. please help

aquababe · 03/11/2007 17:20

I'd love to help or offer advice but I know nothing about ovulating stuff
sorry

LoveAngel · 03/11/2007 21:07

Hi all. Got a bit confused with threads again there! How are you all tonight? My screen is a bit funny tonight for some strange reason and am having trouble reading all the latest messages (going to nag DH to come and look at it in a minute). Any news, anyone? I'm feeling a bit flat today. Had a lovely couple of days with a pregnant friend by the sea - a really lovely time had by all, but her bump did hammer home the whole m/c thing to me and I struggled on a few occasions not to get teary. I decided not to tell her about the m/c right now, though, because she had a very difficult, touch-and-go pregnancy last time and this one seems to be going so beautifully I just didn't want to raise the subject of m/c and put any fears or negativity in her mind. Was tough towards the end, but I feel I did the right thing. Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday night xxx

ClairePO · 04/11/2007 09:06

Lissie this is my 1st cycle ttc and I've been temping, OPKing and CMing. I stopped using the OPK s soon as I got a +ve and my temp increase showed a rise that tied into ovulating the day after a +ve on the OPK. So sorry, I've no idea if the hormone stays high. Are you doing it all on fertility friend? I am and it has so much info - maybe see if they say anything about it on their site: www.fertilityfriend.com

lissietothosefireworks · 04/11/2007 09:10

thanks claire, im using fertility friend and it says that i may have ov'd on CD17 (which would tie in with my ov pains) but my temp has dropped again this morning. the prob is, i cant get accurate temps coz ds is going through a phase of getting up a few times in the night.

why does it have to be so freaking hard?

ClairePO · 04/11/2007 09:28

Did you just take your temp once? A few times I have had low temps with first attempt then if I try again I get a higher temp at a consistent figure. If I'd entered my 1st temp this morning I'd have had a temp drop too after two days of higher temps, but in fact the 2nd and 3rd attempts were consistent with each other at a higher level so I used the 2nd reading. Does that make sense?

Of course the other thing is the dip my just be a dip, is it too early to be say an avulation dip?

I really don't know about the OPK thing though as I just stopped using them as soon as it was deffo +ve.

I find it all quite difficult too - I wonder if I'm being silly trying so hard and its just dding to stress levels but I want a baby so much that I can't not try as hard as I can. I still draw the line at cervical pursuit though. I'm on CD 18 ov'd on CD15, what CD are you on?

ClairePO · 04/11/2007 09:30

eek where I put avulation dip that was obviously a typo for ovulation dip but in fact I did mean implant dip. I'm dumb blonde

lissietothosefireworks · 04/11/2007 09:32

you are supposed to use the first temp of the day, its more accurate that temps later on. im on CD18 too but have been ttc for 25m now, getting a bit frustrated tbh!
