Lissie - life is so shit sometimes - I'm so sorry. Thinking of you.

Cheekster - hope you're worst fears aren't realised. Thinking of you too.

Jules - glad things are still looking ok for you.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on the doc. All I can say is thankfully I wasn't there for 'that' and I knew in advance she's pretty useless (although has worked to my advantage after having a c-sec and I walked in after 4 weeks and stated I wanted to drive and that I was fine and she just agreed). THankfully I have been to someone who is much more sensitive although she has now left the surgery but its a big surgery so I have about 10 doctors to work my way around .

Last but no means least - hello kensgirl ! What fab news - congratulations !!! Take care of yourself and keep in touch.

Wheelybug · 18/11/2007 13:50

Phew thats better - am back as wheely !

mcchesers · 18/11/2007 14:01

Congrats Kensgirl!! Wonderful news

Lissie - Jules is right, it would be best to get to the hospital esp if losing lots of blood and having pain. They can help you with the pain and monitor your blood loss

(makes a big care package with tea, biscuits, chocolate, big fluffy quilt for lissie)

OracleInaCoracle · 18/11/2007 14:04

kensgirl, thats great news. congrats.

spoke to doc. i have to rest, keep fluids up and go to docs tomorrow. might need a d&c tho

TwilightSurfer · 18/11/2007 14:49

Lissielou during the final stage of my miscarriage the pain was all in my hips. I felt like I could shoot fire out of them. The doc called it lightening which happens naturally at the end of the delivery sequence. On the positive side of things, your pain might just be things moving/growing and the blood's there for the same reason. Just hang in there. I'm rooting for you and the bean.

ronshar · 18/11/2007 15:13

Congratulations Kensgirl. Another long term lady has got lucky. Only a few of us left to go!!

LISSIE Get to A&E. Sod EPU. They wont help IF it is MC. The A&E doctors will be so pleased to see someone who isnt the result of a fight or RTA that they should be falling over themselves to treat you!!!
Seriously, if yoy attend A&E it goea straight into your notes and they will also get you refered straight to Gyne unit. If needs be you could be sorted out by tomorrow.

Sorry have my nurse cap on. I have decided emotions are shit and I am going to be really hard for a couple of days. See if that helps!
Fingers crossed Cheekster

becklebigbump · 18/11/2007 15:58

Lissie , get to the hospital love and get checked over, its not right to be in so much pain and my heart goes out to you.

Cheekster, thinking of you too, hope everything is okay - are you going to see docs/epu tomorrow to get checked out?

Wheely, at your docs, can you make an appt with one of the others to discuss how long you have been trying and perhaps some treatment? I think most places will look into helping you after 12 months.

Kensgirl congrats to you! So pleased when any of you girls on here get a BFP but especially one of the long-termers who were on here when I was! Come join the pg after mc thread if you feel brave enough.

Jules, eating peeing and farting are all good pg symptoms! keeping full of positive thoughts for you.

Wheelybug · 18/11/2007 16:05

HI Beckle - We have been seen by a more sympathetic doc at the practice who has run basic tests (scan and bloods) which have all been clear. DH has to do a sample but he needs to do it first thing and dash it to the hospital and as we have had builders in our house from 7.30 am for the last 3 months I've let him off . Teh good news is that they've left so he's run out of excuses. Hopefully we'll get that done and then push for referal in the new year. We'll go private initially if its going to take too long.

It just shows you though how you can get such different treatment at one gps practice !

kensgirl · 18/11/2007 16:28

Thanks ladies. I'm sure that the other long time residents will be following me soon, ronshar, wheely, lissie, gilly, ladylush I so hope it all happens for us all. This was my 13th cycle after mc/ molar.

beckle -I do lurk on the pg after mc thread, and I will join you there shortly hopefully. Thanks for the welcome, and its lovely that you popped in to say hello.

thanks Lissie, I know it must be extra difficult for you to be pleased for me at the moment, it shows what a lovely person you are that you can express for someone else when you must be dying inside. Take care, honey xx

TJuice · 18/11/2007 18:01

lissie, hope you are being looked after today. good vibes to you!

kensgirl! - congratulations!!! that is so fantastic. well done you and here's to a chillaxed 8 months from now on.

grinningbee · 18/11/2007 18:55

Hi all,

Nothing to report here. Day 40 post mc and still no AF.

Lissie I don't know what to say. I agree with getting down to a&e if the bleeding and pain is not easing. There's no point in putting up with the suffering if they can do anything.

Life is bloody unfair and I'm very sorry you are going through this again.

Thinking of you.

x

kensgirl I am so delighted about your bfp Congratulations hun Missed you too and was hoping you were ok, but now I see you have just been busy Hope I can follow you soon onto an antenatal thread as have also been 'busy' this month

Lissie - hope you get some decent pain relief and answers. I found diclofenac good after my m/c (doubled up with paracetamol). Some women find codeine effective.

Cheekster - hope all is going ok with you.

hi ladies just checking in had a rare day out today just DP and I, we had delicious Japanese lunch then went shopping and he banned me from buying anything for the DDs and treated me to some boots and some jeans (hopefully they will be too small for me soon) had a lovely time.

lissie - what can I say, I don't have the words, am so at your treatment. I don't know what you are going to decoded going forward but I hope you are referred to a proper r/c mc clinic and get some proper treatment. In the meantime take care of yourself and remember we are all here for you.

kensgirl - wow congratulations, so are you Due in July as well? Here's to very boring pregnancies for both of us

ladylush - I truly hope you will be joining us soon, I gather you have been putting the hours in

starlight/grinningbee - sorry you are still on CD waiting, it totally sucks.

wheelybug - def prefer you as wheelybug

ladylush · 18/11/2007 21:44

Hi SK Your day out with dh must have been divine. V sweet of him to treat you Yes have put in the hours. Quite confused though as got positive opk yesterday and today even though got one last wednesday. This happened to me before (two months ago). Think I might have to treat myself to a digital one so that there is no ambiguity. Glad to hear your pg is unremarkable so far.

Lissie - how are you hun?

teeheelaydee · 18/11/2007 21:49

Sounds like a lovely day sk - DP's can be very sweet sometimes, can't they. Of course other times they can get it totally wrong but we won't dwell on that.

Just checking in to see how lissie and cheekster are today - thinking of you ladies.

hi all. well, bleeding has slowed considerabley, pain has eased off too. no clots passed tho so am worried about an ep now. nurse i spoke to seemed to think that i would be sent off to epu tomorrow when i go back to docs.

ladylush · 18/11/2007 22:52

Lissie - glad pain has eased. Hope you go to epu tomorrow and get scanned.

ronshar · 18/11/2007 23:09

Good luck tomorrow Lissie. I shall be thinking of you all day.

Lilypink · 19/11/2007 08:28

Hello All, have not posted in quite a while been occupied with the heaviest bleeding ever - hosp refused to give me eprc as pg may have been viable although it clearly wasn't - was 10 weeks yet absolutley no sign of anythng in the sac - even I knew what that meant. But they refused to admit 100% mc. But bleedin came on itself in the end.

This is my second mc in 3 months and I heard yesterday that you can refer yourself for private investigation which costs about £120 and then if they do find somethig wrong you get refered back to NHS for treatment and your money refunded - anyone know anything about this? I would rather do something like this that wait for the 'magic number' of 3 mc in a row before the nhs will do anything about it.

I have gone thro the feeling sad and now feeling a bit as you can prob tell!
