OMG I am in tears this is the best news ever, I cannot believe lissie, jules and me are all pregnant at the same time, oh oh please please please let these 3 little beans make it.

Jules - the most fantastic news it's going to be the longest 8 weeks for you ever but we will all hold your hand every step of the way, when will you have your first scan???

Lissie - I am still thinking of you best of luck for tomorrow and hopefully no more bleeding ever (well until 8 and a bit months from now and you won't care about it cos you will have a newborn to cuddle)

Dustin - so so sorry about AF arriving feel a bit with all the congrats now, I know everyone on here has suffered but I feel both Lissie and Jules have suffered more than most if that makes any sense. Still CD1 of a new cycle, August a great month for a baby

ALBS - how are you doing? You have been a bit quiet recently?

cricri - no advice for you so sorry, hope you get an answer one way or the other soon, the not knowing is a killer.

sweetkitty · 15/11/2007 22:45

aww love the engagement night baby as well, how lovely

I hope we are all at the finishing line come next July no falling at the first fence!

Just want to say a huge congratulations to you Jules - what amazing news.

I cannot believe how many bfp we have had recently.

An engagement baby hey - now thats special.

Well Im still hanging in there - went to the doctors today and will hopefully be seeing midwife on monday.

I have asked to be referred to another hospital - I dont want to associate this pg with everything I went through last time - especially the way I was treated - wouldnt want to be put next to a 16 year old having an abortion again - what horrendous practice.

I hope everyone else is keeping well and staying positive.

sweetkitty · 15/11/2007 23:07

Jules - two days before I got my BFP I dreamt that I was telling someone I had 3 little girls so I think I am having a girl too one I lost I knew it was a boy too. Suppose you have a 50/50 chance though hardly tough odds.

Cheekster - I get so when I hear about treatment like yours. I must admit I cannt complain about the treatment. Only thing I would do different was have the ERPC if I could. I know it's an op but going through the mc at home with the DDs and no help was tough. Still we are all here and fingers and everything crossed we will ALL be fine.

Cheekster · 15/11/2007 23:16

Thanks sk - I must say I am beginning to feel more positive but the knicker checking is driving me wild - everytime I come out from the toilet my poor dh always shouts up 'everything alright' - bless!

If anyone is still up - other than folic acid - is there anything I can do or take to hopefully help the process along - Ive read some people take aspirin???????

ladylush · 15/11/2007 23:34

Cheekster, I had a consultant appt today and I asked the same question. I was told there is nothing I can do to improve my chances - just have to hope it goes ok. I asked about high dose folate and was told there is no indication for it (in recurrent m/c) and likewise aspirin is recommended for women who have clotting disorders. That said, I would consider taking it next time (paediatric dose only)as I don't think there is any research that proves it is dangerous.

Jules - so delighted for you Can understand you're nervous but really it is the best news I've heard all week - that and Lissi's bfp

Lissie - still sounds promising and I agree that the absence of pain is a good sign. Try to rest hun x

Scorpio - hello

ronshar · 15/11/2007 23:38

I am crying. Real tears of joy and sadness and self-pity!!

JULES What can I say except YYYYYYIIIIIIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE.
I could not be more happy. First Sweetkitty, then Lissie, now you. Bloody marvelous. This thread is starting to be an extremely productive one.

Lissie. I hope all is ok with you this evening?

Cheeckster and McCheser. I have all my fingers crossed for you both. You are both very lucky to be pregnant with Jules and Lissie. If I had to choose they are the ladies I would choose. No offense to anyone else here but they are both so brave and really have been through so much it is unreal.

I would make sure with your doctor about the Aspirin because it can cause damage if you dont need it!

ronshar · 15/11/2007 23:40

Ladylush was your consultant helpful for you today? Did you walk away with hope in your womb?

ronshar · 15/11/2007 23:41

OOPs missed out Sweetkitty I meant you too being pregnant I mean. Bugger making it worse for myself now...

TwilightSurfer · 16/11/2007 00:12

I'm starting to get my threads mixed up but anyway talk of reflexology led me to this site which had some wonderful information:
Reflexology

TwilightSurfer · 16/11/2007 00:15

It's the description of the reflex locations that I thought was good to know and then the little write up about it.

OracleInaCoracle · 16/11/2007 07:33

morning all,
Jules, i am so so so so happy for you. cant believe how close our babies are going to be!

Twilight, im studying feflexology (want to specialise in fertility) and my tutor was able to tell which tube was missing by messing with my foot!

ladylush, cant believe they didnt prescribe high dose folic acid!! even my (rubbish) consultant did that! what else did they say?

well off to the docs with me in an hours time to see if i am still pg. been up most of the night. no "fresh" blood, no pain, no backache and nausea still in place...

cricri · 16/11/2007 08:30

I can't believe I missed Jules announcement last night! Congratulations - I'm so pleased for you. If anybody deserves a BFP then it's you after everything you've been through. Take it easy!
Lissie Good luck at the doctor's!
CD32 for me and still no AF... I'm going to stop going on about it though because there are far more exciting things happening on this thread at the moment! Send some baby dust our way please girls

mcchesers · 16/11/2007 08:56

Morning all...I hope all of us, AND me and my little bean too, stick in there and many more to follow.

cedar12 · 16/11/2007 09:38

Good Luck today Lissie.
Congratutlations Jules

congrats jules this is fab news

I am just wondering if anyone can help me
I am stressing beyond belief due to lack of symptoms and spending an arm and a leg on pregnancy tests to see if the lines look lighter

I am doing cbd's at night and timing them ( the times vary a lot)
During the days i am barely functioning apart from to snap at people and moan to dh that i have no symptoms

I am about 6 weeks

I had m/c in july and mmc a couple of years back but a baby in between
Its the fear of MMC more than anything. feel i am a fraud even thinking i am pg as i may not be or just have a blighted ovum
Tried to book a scan but got to wait a fortnight. i almost dont want to go to epu though because with the mmc the whole measuring hcg and taking a tablet was such a nightmare.... sorry to go on but i am so unhappy

jules, CBD cant be wrong. you're knocked up lady. enjoy it! (easier said than done, i know)

well, gp didnt have any pg tests so was going to send urine off to hospital. nurse rang me back and they want to do a blood test instead, but cant fit me in til monday. so i rang the fertility nurse who was so nice to me the other day. she suggested i take a clearblue and see if they will refer me after seeing it. it came up with a faint line, so i called the fertility nurse back and she said that a line is a line. some women dont get clear bfps on hpts but are still pg (that happened with ds) and it sounds to her like implantation. no pain is good. it not getting heavier (lighter if anything) is good. i have an open pass to epu.
