oh no lissie hope it's just an implantation bleed or a bit of AF type bleeding and nothing to do with the bean, am thinking of you x

mcchesers · 14/11/2007 15:52

lissie- I had the exact same thing yesterday (bit of brown goop) and just back from EPU where I was told everything was spot on and doing fine...measured right at 6 weeks. Don't panic! If it makes you feel better to get an early scan..see if your GP can get you in. They told me the weird cramps I was getting was from where I had ovulated on my right side and totally normal. I've got some superglue here and these beans we got are stickin!

I know how hard it is not to worry. We're all going to make it through the next 2 weeks like a bunch of pros. We'll be telling all the newbies "oh that's nothin' I had a lung fall out of my vag and I'm fine!"

Right? Big hugs!!

mcchesers · 14/11/2007 17:24

anyway...also just to say not a fan of smears over here either. The last one I had, the gyn taught me a trick..to think of a flower and focus on how it smelled and think about the petals and then the inside all the way down the the stem.

teeheelaydee · 14/11/2007 17:47

mccheesers -

I have been amazed how many people say totally the wrong thing. Someone said how sorry they were and then asked if I had been overly stressed and was this the cause ! I felt like screaming "THATS NOT HELPFUL BE QUIET"

My dad suggested I should have but you just can't - they are trying to be nice. If anyone else says "its for the best, it's natures way" AAARGH
I know that but doesn't mean I'm OK about it !

Lissie - everything crossed for you. Sounds better this afternoon so hopefully that will be it and you can relax (a bit)

Cheekster · 14/11/2007 17:55

Lissie - just want to let you know Im thinking of you. Im sure you will be fine though.

mcchesers · 14/11/2007 18:11

Hey Cheekster how are you doing?

Cheekster · 14/11/2007 19:16

Hi mcchesers - Im not too bad. Still hanging on anyway.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon - hopefully they will put my mind at ease.

Thanks a lot for your lovely advice and wishes earlier - it is appreciated and does make me feel much better

Also big thanks to crici, dustin, lissielou, ladylush and anyone who I may have missed for all your well wished

Cheekster · 14/11/2007 19:17

I mean well wishes ....DOH!

OracleInaCoracle · 14/11/2007 20:10

well, had a couple of pains but nothing severe, no more bleeding, no more backache of course i managed to convince myself that its another ep... still what will be will be!

mcchesers, thats great news! im so pleased for you x

mcchesers · 14/11/2007 20:59

thanks lissie. I bawled my eyes out last night and for nothing! I know it's hard not to worry, but you're going to be fine..we all are.

There's a heap of experience on these boards and a lot of people who are in your corner cheering you on! xxx

sweetkitty · 14/11/2007 21:44

Just popping by to say I'm thinking of you lissie, you have such amazing strength to keep going with the ttc after all you have been through

ClairePO · 14/11/2007 23:08

evening and hello to all our pregnant ladies, am thinking sticky, healthy and stress free thoughts for you all

OracleInaCoracle · 15/11/2007 08:14

well, got up this morning with a bit more spotting, no backache and no pain...

hope everyones ok x

sweetkitty · 15/11/2007 09:19

oh lissie hope it's nothing you simply cannot find out your pregnant and a day later be spotting thats not fair and you shouldn't be having it. I also think the docs should be doing a bit more for you, is a scan at 6 weeks the first thing they can do?

OracleInaCoracle · 15/11/2007 09:32

yes, though to be fair they are doing a vaginal swab on weds to check for any active infection. i dont know what to think, its getting increasingly hard to stay optomistic now, i feel like such a wretched failure (i know im not, but if this goes the way i think it is, then 6mc's maybe someones telling me something)

cedar12 · 15/11/2007 09:43

Hi Lissie, Hopefully it nothing just implantaton or something. Maybe ask your dr to do some bloods If they should do it every 48 hr with history of ectopic. I will be thinking of you today I have got a course for work today but will try and get online later. Email me if you need any thing.
Hello to every one else on this thread I lurk sometimes on this thread. I havent had a mc but have had 2 ectopic pg and have been ttc for almost 3 year now! and had ivf in the summer which failed. I have one dd who is 4. Just had lap and dye and been told my tube which I have left isnt to bad and dh sperm count is back where it should be so fingers crossed I got pg very quickly after the last one I had, Unfortunatly it was ectopic. So can I join you it a bit quiet on the ttc after actopic thread.

cedar12 · 15/11/2007 09:45

Oh Lissie just seen your last post I so hope you get some luck this time.

OracleInaCoracle · 15/11/2007 09:49

of course you can join us cedar, thanks for your support. i still feel pg... but am aware that it could be wishful thinking on my part. keep telling it to just hold on a little bit longer. i was shocked too when they wouldnt do bloods, however with my ep my hcg levels were doubling so they missed it with bloods. thank god im stubborn eh and insisted on another scan

cedar12 · 15/11/2007 09:56

Most of the time we know are bodies best so you make sure you keep on putting your foot down.

OracleInaCoracle · 15/11/2007 10:00

Hey CANDE- Welcome! It's early days yet and not everyone handles their hormones the same way and every pregnancy is different. I'm really sorry about your mc, but congrats on your BFP!
